Knowing how this game is going to be, it'll be at least a little faster than the one in TDU2.

For real? Wasn't expecting this...
Yup, tail lights are a dead giveaway.
The CT200h is, in my opinion, one of the best cars Lexus has released in recent years, along side the current RX, the LFA and the IS-F. It's efficient, sporty looking (for a small Lexus), is the most affordable Lexus model (I think) and makes pretty good use of the Prius' powertrain to make a relatively fun hybrid. Of course, it's only my 5th favorite hybrid at this time. 5. Lexus CT200h 4. Buick Regal E-Assist 3. Cadillac Escalade Hybrid 2. Mercedes-Benz S400 BlueHybrid 1. Don't forget to take the SS badges off to make it look even more like an LS/LT.
I had myself drooling while searching this up. The cool thing about the steel wheels, is that they're standard equipment. Not sure how much the stripes cost. I can't find them on the Chevrolet website.
How about a double whammy? www.camaro5.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=94265&stc=1&d=1266279699 LS with steel wheels and hockey stripes!
@Mudflap: Agreed. GM has definitely gone full force in their design department. Their compact crossovers are among the best looking out there (with the exception of the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tuscon and the Volvo XC60 (when compared to the SRX)), and the new Malibu definitely trumps the Camry. Of course, their performance cars are where the designs really shine. The CTS-V lineup, Camaro, Regal GS. Very cool stuff.
Yeah, Carbon Motors is saying somewhere between $40,000-60,000 for an E7, I think. It'll probably be a niche vehicle of the police interceptor industry. About the Durango: It's 5.7L Hemi would be an excellent pursuit vehicle against those larger trucks and SUVs. It would almost be like the Supercharged Rhinos from Most Wanted, which is where I got the idea from, initially.
He means that it wasn't in GTA4's DLC packs.
No, the XF-R has a different bumper. www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=25911
@J-2: Yeah, it really is, when you think about it. I'm definitely going to miss these things when they're gone, but I will willingly welcome the new models with open arms (figuratively, of course). Some people don't realize that the new Lotus models (Elan, Elise, Elite and Esprit) may be larger, but still have similar power-to-weight ratios to the current models, surely something Colin Chapman would be proud of today, if he was still with us.
@Mudflap: Yeah, it will definitely be interesting to see how it will play out. It'll be 4 police cars competing against each other, with the Caprice and Charger you mentioned, along with the Taurus and the E7 as well. The Charger and Caprice are RWD (the new Charger doesn't have AWD available, right?), the Taurus is FWD/AWD. I keep forgetting what the Carbon E7 is, though... A Hemi-powered Durango police unit would be awesome, too (depending on which side of the law you're on, of course...).
Means it's being driven with someone with a Learner's Permit, am I right?
Bumping again... 2009 model...it says it in the game.
Hot Pursuit's a pretty good game. Criterion definitely worked their 'magic' on the old 'Hot Pursuit' title. Wide open roads, beautiful cars, licensed traffic, and very compelling gameplay. First NFS game where the racers can use weapons against the cops. I own the game on the 360, and would highly recommend it!
That's quite true, since only 90 8Cs and 50 8C Spiders came to the US. There were probably a few thousand Duettos, though. A few of them often pop onto Ebay every once and a while.
ShantJ wrote These weren't sold in the US, like all the Italian cars. Actually, the 8C and Duetto Spider were sold in the US.
sajmon14 wrote For cop cars they may use, but as player tunable car I don't know if Crown vic is popular tuner in USA It really depends. Usually, if someone tunes a Crown Vic here in the USA, it's usually a Police Interceptor package made into an awesome sleeper, or any various models turned into what some people call 'Donks'. Basically, a raised suspension and ridiculously large wheels (24" or larger, typically as large as 30", sometimes 31"). The idea really baffles me as to the logic behind it. I'll tell you, though, I've seen some really neat Crown Vic sleepers. 90's models with Fox body 5.0's, modern ones with awesome Ford Racing crate motors. It really depends on the budget and creativity of the vehicle's owner as to how much power is under the hood.

I'll take a 2008 Impala SS, please.
Yes, it acts a bit like the rig from SpyHunter, and can hold 2 cars at a time. But, when it's open, it's more vulnerable, as well.
Body of a Sagaris (somewhat), nose of an SZ.
Antti-san wrote Looks more like a F355 to me TBH. I'd say the name's a giveaway...533 GT.
mr.mopar69 wrote bc its in EVERY nfs game since carbon. Except Hot Pursuit.
stryder237 wrote We where taking about the red car on the top of the hill. Yeah, but he's right. The Cadillac is a CTS-V.
Well, there is a TZ2 in this game, so a GT40 would seem likely, as they were both used for racing (The TZ2 was a street car, yes, unlike the GT40).
stryder237 wrote Those people look ridiculous Typical Middle Eastern wear, what would you expect?
matt__jon wrote SWEET!!! Good to finally see a steady release of pics and info! So nice! And I don't care what anyone says, I still call it a GT40. GT is too short Yeah, I don't blame ya. They were going to be called 'GT40', but here's the reason why they weren't: A British company, Safir Engineering, who built continuation GT40s in the 1980s, owned the "GT40" trademark at that time. When they completed production, they sold the excess parts, tooling, design, and trademark to a small Ohio company called Safir GT40 Spares. This company licensed the use of the "GT40" trademark to Ford for the initial 2002 show car. When Ford decided to make the production vehicle, negotiations between the two firms failed. The production cars do not wear the GT40 badge.
Absolutely gorgeous. When I get the game after it comes out, I'm gonna look for a red one with black stripes. It's my favorite.
I know all of the cars in this game are 'chubby', but this one looks even more so than anything else in the game! I love it!
I agree, Porsche 911 cabriolet (just without the roof showing)
LOL, Texas license plate.
baldwinvette77 wrote yes, but the badge on the car looks too long to just be "RS" True, even with the Chevrolet logo, the badge probably isn't long enough.
Not a Dakota, it's a Ram (Note the headlights).
baldwinvette77 wrote looks to have a badge on the right side of the bumper, maybe iroc z? could be z/28 though Wasn't the RS also the same way?
ShantJ wrote I nominate the 1938 Phantom Corsair: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_Corsair That is one of the most BEAUTIFUL cars ever made!

Awkwardly, it acutally looks more like the Hyundai Veloster concept, but this came out before the concept was revealed, so it couldn't be...
