No, they never used a GT500 to make these, they went from factory stock Mustang GTs directly to S281s.
My guess is that it'll probably be either the 390 or 428 under the hood.
Hmm...thanks. Although, this all seems a little confusing, as Wikipedia lists this as 312PB (as listed above)...but I'd NEVER argue with the official Ferrari website. Edit: Just double checked on Wikipedia...yep, they DO say it was officially designated as 312 P. -- Last edit: 2012-02-29 02:23:35
Probably one of 2 reasons: 1. Turn 10 probably doesn't model white walls. or... 2. The car they used to model this didn't have the factory white walls. Still, I agree. Too bad the white walls aren't on the car.
Inaccurately listed as a '1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P' on the official page for the DLC. The 312 P was an earlier, and unrelated car. Hopefully it's properly listed in-game as a 312PB...
Yep, minus the decals and markings.
The official description on the Forza website says that only a little over 500 Monzas were made in 1969, but that's a statistic of the Monza Convertible (521 built), not the coupe (2,717), which is this car shown above. Seems Turn 10 messed up a little. www.corvair.org/chapters/69corvair/#production_line Edit: Oh, and this isn't even the 140 HP Monza, it's just the standard 110 HP version. -- Last edit: 2012-02-29 02:13:13
Not the exact year as the one from Death Proof (that car wasn't even an SS)... imcdb.org/vehicle_108121-Chevrolet-Nova-1971.html ...but close enough. I'll probably end up with a replica soon enough.
Wasn't the engine block in this car closely related to the McLaren F1's engine? -- Last edit: 2012-02-29 01:18:23
Very awesome, but very unexpected. I like it!
Another Touring Car championship winning car (ETCC in 82-85 and BTCC in 83), along with a small role in a 007 film, apparently.
If I recall properly, the turbo was only optional on the Corsa models, while the most HP available in the Monza was the 140 HP version of the flat-6.
It looks a little too small to be a Ford GT, in my opinion...Toyota MR-2, perhaps?
Since the Aerostar was available in a cargo van form, this is even closer: www.carmeanautogroup.com/sitebuilder/images/dodgesaturn_1144-758x606.jpg Edit: And yes, that is a Mercury Villager grille on the van. -- Last edit: 2012-02-26 16:15:00
Same vehicle, Econoline name wasn't dropped in US until 2001. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_E-Series#1992.E2.80.93present (look under segment '2001 E-Series')
Anytime. | ||

Opel/Vauxhall Astra? | ||
2008+ Honda Accord, not an Optima.
Looks more like a Ford Taurus to me.
Cavalier? Looks more like a 6th generation Ford Country Squire body to me.
Aren't body-colored bumpers 'Limited' trim?
Renegade trim level (notice the lights on the roof) image.trucktrend.com/f/25087851+w750+st0/163_0908_14z+2005_Jeep_Liberty_Renegade+front_view.jpg
New for 2005 model year Liberty Renegade. image.trucktrend.com/f/25087851+w750+st0/163_0908_14z+2005_Jeep_Liberty_Renegade+front_view.jpg
2005, actually. There's a 'Trail Rated' badge on the front fender, which was introduced in 2005, I believe.
'Renegade' trim level. image.trucktrend.com/f/25087851+w750+st0/163_0908_14z+2005_Jeep_Liberty_Renegade+front_view.jpg Edit: Also, it's a 2005, it was placed in the game for product placement, and all the models in the game were current year models. -- Last edit: 2012-02-20 22:27:13
'the roll cage has the wrong set of points' ...yeah, but the Wrangler's much closer than the Suzuki. In fact, It looks nothing like the Suzuki. I'd say a Wrangler, with maybe a little 1980's Nissan Patrol...
I think he's actually referring to the 2006-11 Cadillac DTS, though, which I can definitely see it in the roofline and rear pillar. Body overall makes me think of a 1994-99 DeVille.
Little bit of a correction: Origin: Germany, Made in: Mexico, Made for: USA. Same for it's hatchback counterpart: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=43113 Could someone change this?
Lada Peter Turbo... ...seems legit (not sarcastic).
Vitara? Possible. I'm leaning towards either of it's 2 larger relatives, the Grand Vitara, or the XL-7.
Pathfinder? Looks more like a 2007+ Tahoe/Suburban to me...
Definitely DBR9. | ||
I'm not sure if I can agree with it being an SRT-10. It looks more like an older GTS-R to me...
Grille looks like a 1971 Challenger, and so does the body. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/db/%2771_Dodge_Challenger_Convertible_%28Orange_Julep_%2710%29.jpg
I'd agree with a Zonda, while those round vents on the rear fenders look characteristic of an RUF RTurbo or RT 12.
Shouldn't origin be Germany, not USA?
Yes, it is the Serrano from TBoGT: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=25143 I've always thought this was an ML, not a GL. Also, the name 'Serrano' is more of a reference to both the Habanero (Lexus RX) of GTA IV, and the Porsche Cayenne, both of which are named after peppers (Serrano being a chile pepper with a Scoville scale rating between 10,000 and 23,000. The typical Habanero is somewhere between 100,000 and 350,000, with the typical Cayenne between 30,000 and 50,000. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scoville_scale) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serrano_pepper
I'm thinking either an Isuzu Forward, or a 2005 Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter with an altered front fascia.
Made For: USA | ||
Made For: USA | ||
Being a Scion, it's Made For: USA.
Made For: USA | ||
Yes, technically, but according to the official VeilSide website, it's RX-7 Fortune (the other way around).
Actually, being a Scion, it should be Made For USA or Canada (more likely USA).
Yep, 2010+ Mustang with 2008+ Challenger-like headlights.
Could someone please add what jus1029 said? Asano LM11 is the in-game name.
You know what...looking at the nose, I'm thinking it could be a Pandion nose, but on a Koenigsegg body for sure. -- Last edit: 2012-02-10 01:24:09
Hmm...GT-One with Caparo T1-like front end? (at least, that's what it looks like to me)
Yep, definitely Made For Game. |
