To me, I see the windows of a Sable, on the body of a 1991 Buick LeSabre, with the partially covered rear wheel wells of a 1991 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight. -- Last edit: 2017-08-10 16:08:49
I see more 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix in this than Gran Torino. The front end matches the GT, but the rear, roof, and side windows match the GP better.
As good as these pictures are, I'd suggest redoing the rear and interior shots, on the fact that GTA IV cars are seen (Turismo in the rear shot, Merit-based Taxi Cab in the interior shot), which indicates the shots were taken with mods active, which, IIRC, were against the rules of the site. Front pic is good, though, as the only other car seen is a standard GTA V model Sultan.
Likely. Also, the Fresco looks more like a 599 GTB Fiorano, and this looks more like a 599 GTO or perhaps a 599XX.
Honestly, this looks a lot more like a 599 GTB Fiorano than a 360.
Looks like there may be a little bit of LaFerrari Aperta in it (the area behind the seat, the round piece in the middle of the nose), but it's far from a match. It's also expensive once unlocked, which makes sense with a car that's expensive in real life.
The grey cover on the rear and the fact that it's rear-engined makes me wonder if there's any, even if slight, inspiration from the Porsche Carrera GT or 918 Spyder.
For some reason, when I look at this, I can see somewhat of a resemblance to the first generation Renault Trafic, or perhaps the larger Master/Messenger/B Series.
Agreed. | ||
International 4000-Series
I'd say a more modern International 3800. White roof usually indicates a Blue Bird body, but it could be a Carpenter Classic body, as many of those have white roofs as well.
I also agree with Delica.

Oh, trust me. I'm aware, I just felt like getting that out there for future knowledge when an Odyssey appears in another game, as a bit of a reference point, because it seems that not everyone is aware that the US and JDM Odysseys have been two completely, unrelated products since 1999.
Well, it basically shakes down like this... Japan and North America only shared the first generation of the Odyssey under that nameplate, the RA1-RA5 generation. When the second generation came around, there were two different Odysseys developed: Japan, Australia, and China got the RA6-RA9, which wasn't a completely new Odyssey, rather an updated version of the RA1-RA5. In the US, the RA1-RA5 was replaced by the RL1 Odyssey, which was also sold in Japan as the LaGreat. After the RL1's discontinuation after the 2004 model year, it marked the end of Japan and the US sharing the Odyssey, regardless of nameplate. In the US, the RL3/RL4 generation was introduced for the 2005 model year, while the RA6-RA9 was replaced earlier in 2003 with the RB1/RB2 generation Odyssey. The latest JDM Odyssey is the RC1/RC2 generation, introduced in 2013, while the new generation NA Odyssey was introduced this year as a 2018. Since 1999, the US Odyssey has been based on a larger platform than the Japanese Odyssey, and has been developed by American Honda Motor Company Inc., the company's US division, not by the parent company in Japan. That means, aside from the first generation model, all US-spec Odysseys are of US origin, while the first gen and all international market models since are of Japanese origin. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Odyssey_(international) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Odyssey_(North_America) Also, strangely enough, the Odyssey got it's name from, or at least shares a name with, a line of ATVs from the 70's and 80's. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Odyssey_(ATV)
Look closely at the model, then look at the vans in the links. They're the same vehicle. Same grilles, same headlights, same hood, same side windows, same everything. Heck, if you look closely, the model even has the same visor over the driver's door as the vans in the first link.
Scania of some sort? | ||
Not a Dongfeng. It's a 3rd generation (1999+) Honda Acty, and it's in the livery of Yamato Transport, a Japanese logistics/courier company (though the logo was altered to feature a silhouette of a sitting black cat, or kuroneko, whereas the Yamato logo shows a mother black cat carrying a kitten). It's even got the Japanese commercial kei vehicle plates (black plate with yellow characters and numbers, the reverse of a private kei car plate, which is black numbers and characters on a yellow background). www.japanfs.org/en/files/3992020818_f3b98c73df.jpg us.123rf.com/450wm/tupungato/tupungato1705/tupungato170500050/78040362-tokyo-japan--november-30-2016-yamato-transport-delivery-van-in-tokyo-japan-yamato-is-the-largest-doo.jpg?ver=6 www.europlates.eu/images/plates/j/P06168.JPG -- Last edit: 2017-07-27 03:53:04
Definitely a Chevrolet grille.
Looks more Ford GT or GT40 to me.
The Model 3 isn't in production yet, so this should be reclassified as Proto/Concept.
The grille shape makes me think of a 1964 Ford Country Squire, but the center part between the headlights looks like a model from the 70's.
Dacia 1300 | ||
To me, the body shape seems to resemble a 2000-05 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Monte_Carlo#Sixth_generation_.282000-2005.29 It's even got the same crease on the rear fender as the MC, just lowered closer to the wheel well. Front end more resembles either a Cavalier or Civic, wheels are clearly Honda, but the body is more like a Monte Carlo.
Pretty sure it's the textures of the Corolla stretched on a different mesh and a lot of the black plastic edited to body color.
International 9000-Series?
2011 Renault Magnum? www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-2011-renault-magnum-truck/739950
2013 DAF XF www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/2013-daf-xf-3d-model/742312 Texture removal includes the big XFs on the cab and the MAERSK Sealand logo removed from the container on the trailer.
www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/2009-setra-s411-hd-3d-3ds/691825 Found it. It's a 2009 Setra S411 HD, with side livery textures removed, and the rear window textures slightly removed.
2009 Setra S415 H with some livery textures removed. www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-2009-setra-s415-h/691967
Yep, same model with some added parts to make it look sportier.
I can see a little Dodge in there as well. The rear spoiler and hood look like what you'd see on a Viper.
Setra, for sure. | ||
2011+ Opel/Vauxhall Zafira Tourer C
True. L.A. Rush used pretty much the same livery, minus the racing numbers, when the S7 was upgraded in-game. Makes sense, since this basically mimicked Saleen racing liveries of the era.
As the Mark X, it's exclusive to Japan, but there's a Chinese market version called the Reiz as well.
Underneath the body, the chassis and drivetrain is more similar to a Lexus GS than a Camry, being rear wheel drive with optional all wheel drive, where the Camry is front wheel drive. In Japan, the Mark X is positioned as a more premium alternative to the Camry. Similarly sized, but directed to a different kind of customer.
Love how the trim on the tailgate is an obvious nod to the Lincoln Blackwood, with the chrome lines and big 'D E C U S S I N E' across the tailgate.
Gotta say, I'm impressed that they made a model from the ground up instead of restyling the TBT-7000 from WD2.
Not a Ram, rather a 2005-07 Dodge Dakota, possibly in SLT trim (unpainted bumper with chrome trim between grille and bumper, and fog lamps).
The red/black paint and body design makes me think of a late 80's-early 90's Ferrari F1 car.
I don't see much Discovery here. Looks more like a really messed up Toyota Rav4 to me.
This is what he's referring to as RF. www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=27347&width=1366 RF is part of the model name, not the chassis code.
Or a Hino Dutro. This truck is sold under two brands in Japan.
It's certainly strange, but American cars do get imported to Japan through the grey market. Interestingly, an earlier generation of the American Odyssey was sold in Japan as the LaGreat, sold along side the JDM Odyssey.
I also agree with AE86. The only thing here that looks like a Skyhawk is the front end. Everything else looks like an AE86 with the proportions of a Honda CRX. |
