I wonder why we don't get such models in ATS. I'm not an ETS 2 player, but majority of the AI vehicles in American Truck Simulator are far too old/rare for US roads. The fact that they have a current generation Tesla (I hate this company, only giving out an example) while ATS still uses the oldest Model S speaks out. I don't think that SCS properly knows what traffic in America looks like, but European traffic matches more towards this game. At least add more modern/new traffic vehicles in ATS like a Traverse, Kia Soul, Fusion etc, so people don't have to resort to mods.

So, is this model not a look-a-like of the Lincoln but fictionalized? Yes, it is. All I know is that there are games that make vehicles that are fictional, but bear similar resemblances to the real versions.

I wouldn't consider NFS the better. Far from it unless you want good customization. I would consider NFS better but the series limits cars to 245 mph or lower which kinda ruins the series. I would prefer to go past that speed as some cars can go past that bonestock irl such as the Regera which is slower in Unbound than irl. So unless you want really good customization, NFS isn't the better choice. Just stating politely.

There are vehicles in NFS that go above 300 MPH, you just have to seek for any carefully.

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
speedfreak975 wrote
I never once mentioned franchises as a whole, speaking about latest installments. If you misunderstood thats not my issue. Unbound has been out since late November and wont get its 1st update until late January. Yet you are complaining about this over 1 year old game not giving you free new and exciting content every single week. Dont you think thats bit biased and hypocritical. Steam charts are also worst place to look for FH5 traffic considering alot of players played it through PC game pass or console and yet it still higher numbers than 2 month old NFS game on steam.

Current state of FH5 is nowhere peak franchise, especially since anniversary but even in that state its still better than most of its competitors which is honestly sad state for the genre ingeneral. Hopefully 2nd expansion brings some liveliness again. Supposedly around Q1 2023

Steam charts for traffic? Since when did I mention anything about charts for traffic? I'm talking about the player base of FH5 falling down by a huge percentage, and there's more websites online that prove this metric, not just Steam charts.

It seems as though my whole point has flown across your head once again. I am discoursing about glitches, and bug problems. These have been very problematic issues in FH5 for so long, and barely any action was taken into it. An update was sent out on December 6th, fixing a few flaws, but there's still more that plague the game. If you carefully read and paid attention to my posts, I have obviously never said that the game should be updated every week. However, they must still be taken into context.

More player numbers? That's funny since it's very likely that the player count of FH5 is going to collapse shortly. Playground Games is in jeopardy at the moment. What about the other Forza games? Need For Speed games top above them. You still haven't answered my question as to why people leave Forza and switch to Need For Speed, the other Forza games have simply decayed, and I have spewed out the explanations.

The Forza community is immensely brazen, filled with aggravated people who are quick to buck you once you criticize the game. Can we talk about how Forza has banned a player for 8,000 years because of a modded car customization theme??? Seems like a dictatorship of a game to me. I try to entice what game people could play in real life. Nobody chooses Forza for better gameplay, once again.

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
Attacker1997 wrote

Nobody said that the entire franchise has more players than the others, it was just stated that FH5 is much more played today. Also, the fact that many people complain about the game don't prove that it's less played, many of these comments come from active players who just want improvements

I have heard and know of so many people who abandoned FH5. Steam charts also show it. I highly doubt that FH5 is more played, and if I'm not wrong, I've seen a list of NFS MW having more players than FH5.

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)

That is an incredibly disingenuous argument to make. You are comparing a game franchise that has been limited to a single platform for the majority of it's lifetime to a franchise that has been multiplatform and been around for almost 10 years longer than the other series.

Aren't we all? Currently, both NFS Unbound and FH5 are available on 4 platforms. He says that the Forza franchise has more players than Need For Speed, and I try to prove to him that it really doesn't. Even the other person below agrees that Forza is awful.

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
speedfreak975 wrote
Yet the game still has more active players/traffic than both those games, yes updates especially since anniversary have been very bland but you cant expect them to give you a brand new car to the franchise every single week for next 3 to 4 years of updates when they have other things to work on (expansions and next game). NFS has been out for almost 2 months with no updates what so ever and TC2 gets 3-4 cars every 50 days. GT7 got its 1st decent update in December. Relatively speaking to how other racing games are doing now this is not worst out there

Incorrect. According to Autobizz.com, the Need For Speed franchise is ranked at #2 as one of the best selling racing game franchises with 150 million copies. Forza is ranked at #6 with only 16 million copies. Your view is really wrong.

More active traffic? Sir, there's a very little amount of traffic vehicles on the roads in FH5. Yes, NFS Unbound could use more modern traffic vehicles, but at least they are common around on the streets. I think you are also missing the point. What we mean is harder progression to earn better vehicles, since it's very lackluster to play Forza Horzion for less than 3 hours and somehow earn 50 cars. I understand that updates take time, but there have been an abhorrent amount of bugs in the game for so long, and not 1 developer at Playground Games really bothered to fix it.

Where did you get your information from that the current NFS game isn't being updated? EA announced that there will be new/refreshed updates after January. There are by far, many advantages NFS has over Forza such as better maps, graphics, customization, police chases, storylines. The list goes on and on. What are the advantages Forza has? Only more vehicles, and the handling of some cars, but that's about it. Forza Horizon is simply a locked-down game with almost no freedom for anything. I couldn't last more than a week into FH5, I know some people who couldn't bother with Forza either. Finally, let's debunk how Forza is supposed to be a ''Realistic driving experience'' but then they proceed to add DLCs such as Lego? Why? It breaks the immersion in the game, which deters more people from buying it.

Forza Horzion could be better if the developers actually listened to their players and took the time out to transform their game. Lazy development is the obvious sign here. Asphalt is also mediocre nonsense that I will never play ever again. Both games are terrible. Some of us go for games where we want a lot of action, others go for games where they only want to drive normally. Forza is lagging and is falling behind, it's clearly obvious, and in all honesty, this has to be the most hated game not only throughout the Forza Horizon series, but also the entire Forza franchise. Forza Horizon 1 was boring, but it has a little more compared to the current one. Again, Forza doesn't adapt to the ideas of their player base and go ahead to change that. This is why people cannot bother with Forza and then switch to NFS. Nobody would ever quit a NFS game and switch to Forza and then find it better. You can go ahead and view the complaints of both Unbound and FH5, FH5 has more. EA has more common sense.

I can write far more than this, but if you want to go ahead, then go ahead. I will be on this site later and see what happens.

Yes, that`s true, the biggest turn off in this game, is the very bland Mexican setting, and that some of the most beloved makes like Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Abarth are not in the game, due to deranged tree huggers in Italy banning them from Forza due to emission bugs, + the fact that the updates only bring cars featured in the earlier games.
No wonder 6 highly ranked staff members just left Playground Games for other projects, i am starting to have doubts that we will see an FH6 after this failure, not to mention all the thousands of bugs still present in the game.

It is severely shocking. No wonder this game has lost 75% of it’s players after a few months of being released. The lack of progression and hard work is clearly the reason why Forza games are so horribly disliked. Can we also talk about how shitty the DLCs are? I can tell you that this is another driving game franchise that will be left by the wayside and will soon be forgotten. Why not Switzerland or Japan? They had to put Mexico in the game, worse case scenario is that it may be a very big map, but majority of it consists of only deserted land, it feels lifeless. NFS and even The Crew manage to strive while Playground games is lately struggling to place patches onto the game. Ridiculous!
