Liftbacks are in a weird middle-ground between hatchbacks & sedans/coupes where they are essentially those body styles but with a hatchback-style trunk. Frankly I've always hated the way liftbacks are always considered hatchbacks on here (since true hatchbacks have their own distinct shape), but that's the way it is for now. I mistook conventional trunks for lift backs, sorry, but anyways, this doesn’t really classify the Tesla Model S as a hatchback, as sedans can also have liftbacks with a different overhang. Tesla has never manufactured a single hatchback. | |

Yes, but the Model S has always been classified as a sedan, and has a conventional trunk. If you didn’t know, there are people who even claim that the Model 3 is a hatchback when it’s clearly not. I agree. I don't understand why SCS can't just add vehicles that are actually specific in the USA. They could've added a 3rd or 4th generation Silverado instead of an Advance. |
