I don’t quite agree that the car list is boring, it’s very nice & quite different than most games, which is what makes it stands out among others, for me the main reason this game is too boring is because it’s pay to win, simple as that, just like many phone games, it’s grind feast & painful to play

I miss Asphalt 1 & 2, to this date I still think the original asphalt is the best, with best soundtrack too

Games like those nowadays has fancy graphics, but so little & limited on what you can do (unless you pay mone to lift some limits, which will drain your wallet in the future)

I wish 3ds and PlayStation portable market was still strong, I miss those days, not like the crap we have today called mobile games :(

Mobile racing games should be good, but AAA developers games with pay to win, repetitive traffic, drag and shift, car driving simulators drift and "impossible" stunt car games destroy the category in Play Store. Asphalt 7 for né its the last playble game.

Test Drive 6 (1999)
This is the worst racing game i have played in PS1 emulator, the physics its bad, in "night mode" the city don't have illumination and the graphics still from a 1996 PS1 game. The good point is cars list, soundtrack and tracks (except for the crap italy and others with sharp curves).

We should really be giving this the same treatment as Vice City's Infernus. In that game, a Countach was heavily modified to the point where it's almost unrecognisable, and yet we still list it as Countach because that's clearly what inspired it.

This Infernus is also fairly unique-looking. It does not resemble a Vector in anything more than a superficial sense, yet we know for a fact that it was inspired by the Diablo and some details still point that way.

I don't know why some people seem to be under the impression that insider or developer information is invalid when identifying a car on this site. I can think of several examples lately where that sort of thing has been very helpful to moderators. If anything, it's the most reliable source of information out there.

You make me remember a video that i watch about Vice City in the beginning of project, the game should have licensed cars but was abandoned to keep again in unlicensed cars. Infernus in one of beta Vice City promo images appear with a design very similar to 1985 Countach.

We don't take that sort of thing into account, it's about how it's presented in the game not in the files.

It's a Vector, let it go dude.

Don't care about old name in the files and beta models anymore, the rear still from Diablo more than Vector.

Superficial things like the rear design doesn't matter. There are alot of entries on the site where the car has a distinct shape in the front or rear but the rest of the car looks like a different vehicle.

In any case the overall car doesn't look like a Diablo. In the beta it might of but that is beta content and most likely was a concept that never made it into the final game. That sort of thing is irrelevant.

It may be, but only the sides along with the front of the car are customized and unrecognizable parts, the rear still has the visible silhouette of Diablo, as Mathias mentioned, in the game's scripts it is still called "Diablo". Even with the changes made from the alpha version to the final version, there are still more features of Diablo than Vector.
