Same cab model as the 'Moth Truck', just on a rigid truck chassis. So either this is a Mack R-600 or the other Moth is a Dodge Big-horn aswell. Someone make the decision. Personally I See More Mack than Dodge in this rig.
That is wierd, my copy was part of a 4 game multi-pack, and it seemed that completion of the trip unlocked the 3 different european cars. best way to check would be re-install it I guess. It was always fun having a demolition derby with me in the moth tanker and all the ai driving these.
"Made in a refrigerator factory"
nope, I got my copy when I was stateside and this is in it. should be listed as an unlockable vehicle. unlocked for getting a certain point through the T.R.I.P mode
1970, not '67 | ||
ShantJ wrote The Oldsmobile actually has a manual override. pic I was always under the impression the TH400 trans was just an auto, completely forgot about the dual gate shifter though.
ShantJ wrote I hate that they modeled the automatic transmission. And yet, the driver "shifts." -_- Nice to know that I'm not the only one who noticed that, same problem with the Hurst/Olds aswell
Wrong! This is the same car as the bullet, which makes it a '71 Cuda, Note this is a customised version with a pointed nose like that off of a 67 firebird. How can you not see it? 80% of the mesh is the same. Same goes for the Bullet GT in Ultimate carnage, its just got a different front clip to the regular bullet.
and it's the L78 aswell - Perfect!
I'd say 1981 Dodge M4S Turbo interceptor, just like the one in the wraith www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/dodge/M4S-PPG-Interceptor.html
'69 Charger Daytona, The nose and being named under the games plymouth knockoff brand suggests '70 Roadrunner Superbird and in early versions including the first mission cut-scene this did have the rear wing, but it also had an exact match to the chargers tail lights. It also has the charger recessions in the hood and doors and the charger tail-wrap stripe, given it also doesn't have any of the plymouth aero cars definitive features (Vinyl roof, decals), it is leaning more to a '69 charger daytona but minus the rear wing www.localditch.com/interstate-76/classic/2.jpg
body code should be also listed as 2454 EDIT: doubt anyone cares but just if you wanna know they've given this the powerglide transmission; 0-130 Mph in 2 gears -- Last edit: 2011-11-09 16:29:09
same base model as the brahma, so more like a '70 el camino, has the same tail lights and rear bumper as the el-camino. although I can see ranchero headlights in that
nope, it is a camaro. it is actually the same base model as the mullet, but the mullet is just a more modified version with a rear mounted engine. The entire lower front clip has the same openings and turn signals as the camaro, and it has the same sharp body line mid way down the sides
Sweet! | ||
even has the Espirit pop up headlights
always thought this was a '71 cuda aswell, and the three air filters do hint at a 3 x 2 barrel carb set up like on mopars of the period
Overall body shape is more like that of a mid '80s camaro, and its way too big to be daytona
Sadly you can no-longer put the 426 hemi into this. For some reason All the engine swaps are limited with very little selection, all you can install is the new Viper V10, No 426 or 540 Hemi
I may be the only one here who sees this more as an Old Ford C-series based fire truck
ShantJ wrote I thought it was simply Hurst/Olds, as=nd 442 was dropped. . Officially they are titled as Hurst olds, just seems that unofficially they are known as a "Hurst/Olds' 442". I guess its a bit like the saleen tuned mustangs: Most people I know refer to it as a saleen mustang despite officially not having mustang as part of the model title (S281, S302 etc). Either way another great addition to the car list
East bound and down....
Would of been nice to also get a '70 Rebel Machine and '69 AMX, can always hope for future expansion packs/Downloadable content. but at least theres something
shot of what can be done to customise this one: forzamotorsport.net/Handlers/GetPhoto.ashx?full=true&id=99
Holy Moly! Thats awesome
ShantJ wrote I hope it's the Stage I version. Be good if they've also got the stage 2 as a engine swap as-well
can definitely be listed as a hemi now
Nice touch that the cowl induction hood actually works
I do wonder what happened to the '69 ford from here, maybe was just a typo but there ware no other old fords 'par the '73 stang with a 351 Windsor -- Last edit: 2011-09-11 22:35:52
Looks like an old Russian SCUD missile truck somewhere underneath all that armour plate, if so its a 'MAZ-543' some info and pics here at good old wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAZ-543 -- Last edit: 2011-09-01 00:04:35
You're probably right with the modifications being of mad max basis. Who wouldn't design post apoc modifications on a muscle car without looking to Max for inspiration (the blower, roof wing and whatever that is on the trunk). I can't see a closer base for the sides and rear bumper (from the angle shown) than a '73/74 charger BUT the hood and front end forwards of the front wheel arches bears no resemblence. The split recessed grille I can see having come off a '69 Riv, although the bumper and hood definitely not. Personally I'd label it as a charger as 3/4 of the sides, all the windows and roof seem to share those body lines which make up most of cars shape. If anyones got a rear shot of this, It'd help
sides are reminscent of a '73/74 charger, with the front end that looks like it came off a '69 riviera
Don't know why you've got this listed as a second gen, the 2nd gen (mustang II) didn't come into production until '74 (1st gen is 64 1/2 - 73) so this should be listed as MkI
'72-74 given it has 2 headlights and the round tail-lights
this is actually a '72-74 cuda (note the round tail lights and angular body) with the front lights/clip of a 67-68 camaro -- Last edit: 2011-07-08 13:50:25 |
