That's funny. I thought that from what I've read, they stopped producing DeLoreans in 1982. Maybe they refurbished the model for a 2004 release. I haven't read THAT much, so that was a guess.

Nope, incorrect year/model.

That doesn't mean you can't have a knock-off. People have made hundreds of knock-offs of the General Lee for decades.

You must be new here. Unless you know everything about everything, you won't last here lol

Maybe I'll last; maybe I won't. We'll see. And I AM sort of new here. I've had this account for less than a year. To be honest, I don' think I even KNEW what I was asking, or even saying when I asked that "street-legal" question in the first place. I'm sorry for even asking it. I should've known at the beginning that it's not even a good idea to begin with about this car. I bet I'll get the same reaction about the 2006 Ford Mustang GT from "Death Race" (www.imcdb.org/vehicle_183297-Ford-Mustang-2006.html).

I managed to figure out how to make the license plate for the front of the car that makes this car a "Sex Drive" GTO. In case you don't know, "Sex Drive" is a movie that came out in 2008.

I customized mine to make it look similar to the one from the upcoming "Fast & Furious 6." Here's a link to a picture of the film's Charger (media.ed.edmunds-media.com/plymouth/1969-daytona/ns/plymouth_1969-daytona_f34_ns_312131_600.jpg).

I never even had any experience with the storefront. Hell, with an XBOX LIVE account. But I will, eventually. I have college to think about at the moment. At least for the next month until I get done for the semester in May.

Please, stay off IMCDB.

I just deleted those comments of mine about this car off of IMCDB. Maybe you're right. Maybe having that kind of car street legal IS a dumb idea. I didn't think I would get this much negative feedback from one of my opinions.

You mean the comments about it being road legal? Yeah, I was pretty awe-struck at them too.

What did you mean by "awe-struck?" Are you trying to say that my "street-legal" idea was actually a stupid idea?

2 things:
1) I thought the "James Bond" DB5 was a 1963 model, not a '64.
2) The REAL "James Bond" DB5 had the steering wheel on the right side of the car. In this game, it's on the left. One game that I know, that has the steering wheel on the right side, is "Forza Motorsport 4."

So, if it's an XBOX LIVE thing, then I'm just going to forget about it.

This is an referencie to the 69 black Charger from Death Proof, and the Death Proof Charger is an referencie to the General Lee, the Bullitt Charger and the Charger from Vanishing Point (1997, with viggo Mortensen)

Also, since it's orange like the General Lee, but has no "01" on the doors, or the rebel flag roof panel, it's like the Dodge Charger, ncknamed "Traveller," from John Schneider's "Coolier and Co.: Hot Pursuit." Here's a link to a website that shows that car, and a film cover image: www.spencer1984.com/my_models/traveller.php

De Tomaso Pantera

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
The yellow paintjob makes it look like the Pantera from the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" movie; the one from 1974. The one in the movie had a Pantera manufacturer stripe on the side, though. I don't see one right here on this website. Maybe I could try finding it on the game next time I go on it.
Dodge Challenger

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
You won't believe how long, and how much careful planning, it took me to make the "Vanishing Point" license plate for this car. The 1970 Colorado plates; license number OA 5599. I don't know if I can spell out how I did it, but it's done. I could only get it on the back; there wasn't enough vinyl space on the front for a front license plate, so I didn't bother. If I knew how to take pictures from videogames (not the "in-front-of-the-TV" pictures) and put them on the internet (you know, all the computer skills that almost everybody else has), I would show you the finished license plate.

It actually was a '71 modified to look as a '73, so it's right.

www.imcdb.org/vehicle_4972-Ford-Mustang-1971.html

2 things:
1) Okay, okay. The movie website says it's a 1971 model, so I'll say that it's a '71.
2) Another way to prove that this is NOT Eleanor, is because, as you can see, THIS Mustang has sone kind of black front bumper (which isn't seen in the movie), there's a black stripe going across the middle of the side, instead of the bottom, and I see a spoiler on the trunk. Eliminate all of those, and you WILL have Eleanor (just with horizontal headlights, instead of vertical ones, as seen on a 1973 model). Is there any way to get rid of any of those?

Dodge Charger

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
I'm in the middle of painting MY '69 Charger as the General Lee, and to let you know, it's not that hard if you place 2 of the same number on each door; just put the white numbers on the door first for the white outline, and then put the black kind of the same number on the white ones, only a little smaller, because if you put the black ones on first, you'll just have the white ones cover the black ones, and you can't move one behind the other. I found all that out just today, and on only one door. I just have to do the same thing for the number on the other door, and then there's the rebel roof flag after that to take care of.

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)

You can put white vinyl and cover the black stripe.

I found that out, myself, just a couple of hours ago.
Dodge Stealth

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
Paint it black, and you'll have the car from the four 90s "Smokey and the Bandit" knock-offs. But the Dodge Stealth in those was a 1991 model, and THIS is a 1996; only 5 model years apart.
Dodge Challenger

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
It kinda sucks that I can't get rid of the black stripe that are on the sides of the car. I would've had the "Vanishing Point" Dodge Challenger here, on "Forza Motorsport 4." Oh well; at least I already have that on "Midnight Club: Los Angeles; Complete Edition."
Shelby GT500 KR

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
ONE! Just 1 model year off from being the Shelby GT500 from the 2000 remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds" (the one with Nicolas Cage); the Shelby in that movie was a '67 model.
Buick GNX

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
The same car from the beginning of "Fast & Furious." The 4th film in the "The Fast and the Furious" film series. Of course, the tires and rims look different.
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)
Paint it black, and it will make the car as close to similar to the car from "Knight Rider" as you can get it. After all, it IS the same make, the same model, and the same model generation, but the model year is different by 5 years (the "Knight Rider" car was a 1982 model), but it will be close enough. And thanks to me figuring out how to make license plates, I'm working on making the "KNIGHT" license plate.

Sweet! Makes me want to watch Smokey and the Bandit again. (I've got all three of the movies, not that 90's TV movie junk, either)

So. I'm NOT the only one who knows about the 90s "Bandit" knock-offs. And, yes, it's true. Thay ARE junk compared to the real deal "Smokay and the Bandit" films. Don't get me started on that P.O.S.
