It is a glue holding on the Wheelarch lining. Well done Ferrari. If you knew this glue would be a problem, Then you wouldn't have used it and 5 458s could have been saved.

So for Season 4, they gave them a real Testarossa after the Daytona was blown up at the end of Season 3. They had two TRs, one real one and a Pantera based replica for stunt work.
