BazzemBoi photo_librarymode_comment 2023-08-27 00:44 | Sharky wrote People complained the vehicles in Saints Row 1 & 2 were too slow. SRTT and SRIV/GooH run on a modified version of the engine the first two games used, where the vehicle speeds are capped fairly low for whatever mechanical reason. They tried to mask the problem by using dubbed over sounds of vehicles running through gears to make them all seem faster than they really are! No wonder I always thought the cars were extremely slow, they made GTA V's cars (that are capped to around 120 MPH) feel a lot faster lol.

2023-05-30 03:59 | Given the significant changes, I'm not surprised Volition had to make it much larger. Atlantica used to be a compact SUV. Seems like they just made it a 2017 Audi Q7 with a lot of WK2 Grand Cherokee elements in this.
Speedevil photo_librarymode_comment 2022-09-22 21:34 | Victor_2003 wrote The original game was released in the 2000s, SLS don't existed in that time. It came out in 2011, the SLS was already out by then but the Raycaster was already in the first Saints Row which came out in 2006, so it couldn't be an SLS back then. However, the car models were all modified for the remaster. This still looks pretty similar to the original car from SR1 though, so I think it should still be listed as an SLR. And I just realised that's pretty much what you meant, so my comment is useless. I'm posting it anyway. -- Last edit: 2022-09-22 21:37:58

2020-06-30 01:25 | Actually the body of the Lancer Evo comes from the Mirage, which was sold as Lancer in some markets. Rear lights come from Mirage Asti, forgotten coupe from the 90s. Front lights from Lancer Evo V/VI, bumpers are actually depending from which variant you choose in the shop, since some of them are a reference to Lancer Evo IV, another to LanEvo VI and this one seems inspired by the LanEvo III. Aside the pillar in the side window that has no sense since it doesn't have to go down inside a door, the car is actually a Mirage/Mirage Asti, since the body is exactly that one.
princesscake photo_librarymode_comment 2020-06-27 13:41 | Can't keep it stock like this unfortunately... saving the car or going to RimJobs puts the news decals back on it.
princesscake photo_librarymode_comment 2020-06-27 13:39 | Careful if you decide to keep one of these and take it to RimJobs. Customizing it has lead to pretty much a 100% game crash rate for me. I think theres a serious glitch going on with either the paint or the rear wheel covers- each time I've changed something on the car I'll either freeze in the RimJobs menus or crash within a minute of leaving the place. I've played the remaster for over 160 hours now and the Churchill is the only car that causes this.
princesscake photo_librarymode_comment 2020-06-21 12:52 | TheGreaser wrote Yep. If only it actually was a drivable SUV. Anytime when Volition pulls a remaster of SR2, it better have nicer graphics than the orig. Shame a lot of cars from SR2 got cut from SR:TT, and I STILL regret it even after a decade. I miss the Mag most of all. It was the Cadillac Escalade knock-off. I drive one in real life and it was in the first trailer for SR1 along with the Compton- both cars deserve to be in the series until it ends! >o<

2020-06-17 01:48 | All I've seen are minimal changes. Notably the aforementioned marker light and a proper rear windshield wiper. Also, I can't say that they are, but the headlights and taillights are smoked - that's the proper term for tinted headlights.

princesscake photo_librarymode_comment 2020-06-15 04:19 | Model could of used some remaster love.
