2008-02-14 17:32 | Reminds me of that classic line from Blackadder Goes Forth ("I believe the phrase rhymes with Clucking Bell."). I wonder if that's where the Rockstar developers (who are based in the UK) got the idea from. -- Last edit: 2008-02-14 17:33:36

2008-02-10 19:43 | I think it may have been about 3 months, but it probably varies between developers. There was some initial confusion in that they thought we were implying their cars were licensed vehicles, but they were still helpful and it was nice to know that they had viewed IGCD There are probably other games where the developers should be utilised like this.

2008-02-10 19:19 | The developers of the GTA games were actually based in Scotland. Maybe their designers liked the Escort Cosworth so much (it was one of the greatest hot-hatchbacks of the 90s, and it was also successful as a rally car, Jeremy Clarkson was a big fan) they decided to put into the game, even though it was never available in the US (and thus was probably never street legal), which is where the cities in GTA are located. Perhaps in the game it is a gray import, I don't think you see it driving around in traffic, in Liberty City one is hidden in a courtyard, so it's like a secret car.
