In the gameplay video, there was a prompt to search the outlined trunks, so you're absolutely right.

Nice to see they're still adapting concept cars from the recent past into actual cars in-game. I really dug that from Human Revolution. Not to mention, if that outline around the trunk means what I think it means, passenger cars are about to become more than just set-dressing in this game.
