Oh yeah...and you forgot this movie where the Mustang IS the star...  Ahem. I was trying to say that amongst the Bond cars was a Colorado red Mach 1. I'm not trying to replicate the Bond car, that's just the colour it came in. Spoilers and hoods pins are subtle period accessories. I add them because they are particular to this car. I could have removed the decals but then it would look even less stock. I didn't forget Eleanor, it's just not worth saying "Believe it or not" over. When people think of Gone In Sixty Seconds they think of a Mustang (Even the remake). When people think of Bond they think Aston Martin, Lotus or BMW. They might even think of a yellow 2CV6 gallivanting down the side of a Spanish olive grove. However few look at a Mach 1 and think 'Bond'. |

Although in the film they didn't have the black anti-glare patch on the hood. The Mustang chase was filmed on Las Vegas' famous Fremont Street, which was still open to the public. One set of stunt coordinators had set up the car driving into an alleyway on two wheels. Another set of stunt coordinators had set up the car driving out of supposedly the same alleyway on two wheels. Sadly it wasn't the same two wheels. Once they had found this out they had tried several ways to remedy this.
