| Reputed to be the safest car ever made, this classic Vulcar station wagon has been the vehicle of choice for really terrible drivers for 20 years. The closest thing you'll ever get to a tank for under $10k. | |

| So the debate was settled. But just to clear it up the Ingot looks NOTHING like a Passat B4 or 100 C4 (except the roofline and tailgate and grille which resembles the 100's) and the front headlights are too large and short to be the Passat's and the indicator's too short to be the 100's The VD90R is obviously the Stagea 260RS Autech (except the nameplate which is derived from Volvo's 850R), VW did make the VR6 version of the Passat but it looked more plain and I doubt Audi made an Avant version of the Ur-S4/6 Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to find an Ingot mod for GTA:SA. | Vulcar is, in GTA V, a brand that creates cars mixing Volvo and Nissan together. Check the Warrener, looks like a Skyline but with some references to the famous swedish brand. The Ingot is, in my opinion, a Volvo 850. There was, in GTA IV, a very big reference to the Nissan Stagea: the Russian Mob Variant, in fact, known in-game as VD90R, was an Ingot with some cosmetic changes such as front bumper and spoiler. The VD90R variant looked like a Nissan Stagea, but no further evidence (except for tail-lights and the tail) makes me think that the Ingot is based on a Stagea, so I say Volvo 960 Estate: IMHO, this is the car that is mostly near to the Ingot for appearance. | |

However most of it is definitely Stagea based. Yeah, they look similar but the front of a Volvo is very different than Ingot just like rear. Also Ingot comes with unpainted B and C pillars while every Volvo 850 I've seen have them in a color of a body. The plastic door and bumper guards however are not painted as opposed to Ingot. Also C pillar is nearly straight in Volvo and the whole rear is chopped down, not angled like Ingot but this is also present in Stagea. | |

| Nice job . Good to see somebody else putting in the effort to back up their claims. I've got to agree that this has a lot in common with a Stagea (the only real differences being the lower part of the front bumper and the angle of the rear window). I'm not really sure why there was ever an argument for the B4 Passat (the B3 would be more plausible). On a side note, I'm still planning to do the Stratum comparison but I'm still incredibly busy and behind on work. The deadline is in the first week on December so maybe I can get something done after that. | |

| Not this bullshit again. Ingot mostly resembles Nissan Stagea. To be exact it's 1996 Nissan Stagea [WC34], the first series of Stagea. It's not any Volvo or Volkswagen. Not a perfect clone but Stagea is closest car to Ingot. You don't belive me? OK, here is a pic of Stagea from 1996: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/30/1996_Nissan_Stagea_C34.jpg Notice the unpainted B and C pillars. C pillar is sloped just like Vulcar's. Rear is pretty much in the same shape in both cars, just Ingot is more boxy and the window is a bit angled as opposed to his real-life counterpart. A rather generic front and sides also match. No doubt it's Stagea. Stop changing this car over and over again. | |

My customized Ingot would be dark green, with standard equipment, a slightly modified engine and a license plate that reads. "I Heart (Symbol, not the word) PRB"  (PRB= Princess Robot Bubblegum, the plate only refers to the eponymous main character, not the show itself) | |

| Also, back in IV, some NPC stated that Vulcar produced the safest car (which nods to Volvo's high safety standars). Therefore, Vulcar should be the parody of Volvo, and the Ingot possibly referred to an 850 wagon. | |
| I agree entirely. I think you've perfectly identified every part of the car, especially with the Volvo 850. This also explains why Rockstar created BF as the new Volkswagen - Vulcar was supposed to be Volvo. | |
| For once, the GTA Wiki seems most correct. It looks to me like mostly Volvo 850/V70, with a bit of Audi A6 [C4] in the front fascia (fenders are still 850/V70) and Nissan Stagea-esque taillights. In fact, it's more of a 85% 850/V70, 10% A6 [C4], 5% Stagea mix. | |
