While it's called Cerrano in-game, the badge on both the front and rear reads like "Louise".

It's a stylized 1971 Plymouth Road Runner, with a curvier profile, a sharper beltline, a made up rear end and front end that somewhat resembles that of a Javelin, but that alone isn't enough to label it as a Javelin. It's much closer to a roadrunner/GTX i.imgur.com/wxgqAy0.jpeg

Yes, seems to be a mix of Dodge Challenger with a Roadrunner, doesn't have much elements from the AMC.

The fender bulges don't even look remotely like a Javelin.

And why specifically a 1974 Javelin, since they were completely identical to the 1973s? And furthermore, all 1971-1974 Javelins have the same basic shape that some of you think you're seeing here...there's nothing to even isolate the 1973-1974 models.

It does have the fender bulges unique to the Javelin.

I don't know this game, and I'm sure what you have stated here is true.
But what puzzles me is why they have changed the very characteristic and absolutely gorgeous front of the Roadrunner.
I think it's fascinating how game developers re-style cars in games, but I see no point in integrating features from other car models.

I'm wondering how many of you have actually played this game and seen the car from multiple angles, instead of just looking at this one picture.

The ENTIRE SHAPE OF THE CAR is 1971-1972 Plymouth B-body. It even has the "strobe" stripe and 1972-spec "340" hood callouts. The ONLY THINGS THAT ARE CHANGED are the grille/headlight combination and the taillights. Both are parts of the car that game designers CHANGE to make the cars appear GENERIC.

To say that the car looks an AMC Javelin just because the grille and headlights are similar is absurd, as it overlooks every other part of the vehicle. You guys really have to start paying attention to the overall shape, as opposed to just fixating on one aspect of the vehicle.

Takumi: Some of the front looks like a Challenger, but not the whole thing.
ChoclitBunny: None of this car looks like a Camaro. (Not to be rude. ;) )
dodge1970: I'm glad you agree. :)
CA_NES: Compare the actual image of the Cerrano and the image of the '74 Javelin I posted.

Same story as with the "Cerrano Punk": it can't be a 1972 Roadrunner... take a look:
www.rearviewed.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/1972-plymouth-road-runner.png
It looks more like a 1969 Camaro:
www.seriouswheels.com/pics-1960-1969/1969-Chevrolet-Camaro-Blue-SS-396-b-fa-sy.jpg
It has this typical Camaro rectangular between the headlights.
A 1970 Challenger has double headlights.
The AMC Javelin has a different grill.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with some Camaro thrown in. If you look at the cover of the game's box, there is a red muscle car that is identical to a Challenger. Though the car featured on the box never made it into the game, this did. It is clearly a Challenger. Still cool-lookin', though.

I'll agree with you on this one :) It does look more like a Javelin, the fender arches and body lines are more like the AMC. I think it does have a few RR or '70 Challenger influence on it though, such as the grille.

All the Cerrano clones are definitely 1972 Plymouth Roadrunners...complete with "340" hood callouts and Roadrunner "over the hood" strobe stripes. They differ from Roadrunners in having 4 circular taillights and a grille taken apparently from a 1969 Camaro.

Roadrunner is definitely the dominant car here, though.
