I think these were private imports. Many cars like Fiat 126p are listed as origin Poland although its actually a Italian car, so Talons should be listed origin USA

Origin US is correct. They were designed for and built in the US.

Good question. It's a rebadged Eclipse (Japan), but built in Normal, Ilinois, and sold under the Eagle brand. You could be right, but I'm not 100% sure...
