| It's actually a 1944: 'In addition to the Samba, GT5 is also getting the Kubelwagen from 1944. This was based heavily on the popular Beetle, and it was succeeded by the Volkswagen thing. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche, it saw heavy use during WWII." Source: g4tv.com/games/ps3/42533/gran-turismo-5/articles/72181/Gran-Turismo-5-Preview/ | |
| Yes, but it may perform well on offroad courses. | |
| Yes but the kubelwagen aren't a great cars from racing or sporting, i agree for add Espace F1 or Transit Supervan, some old IMSA race car or old japanese race car | |
| I like variety, so i´m glad they added this. They should (as DLC for GT5, or for GT6) make all standard cars premium, and add cars from GT2 (Like the Espace F1, the Laguna, the 406, etc...), some cars from other games (From Forza and Enthusia, for example) and they would manage to make the finest car list in the history of videogames (in number, variety and quality) | |
| Strange thing on GT | |
This should be interesting to drive! ![]() | |
| Here's one with Afrikakorps colours with split windscreen. images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/523961.jpg | |
| Could a mod please change this to off-road/SUV? It's a mistake on my part. | |
| SizSkiizd wrote Something's not right. The wartime Kübelwagen NEVER had a split windscreen - I guess the developers didn't care about that. Secondly, the classification should be off-road/SUV. Hmm . . . I don't know. Did the Schwimmwagen have a split-windscreen? It's one or the other. | |
