It's a Cadillac Gage Commando V-100, not BRDM-2.

the GAZ has a rounded front, this one is squarrish -> it's a Commando

This is definitely a BRDM as aezamki said. They're very similar vehicles but subtly different.
Not to mention it's supposed to be a decades old wreck from an Eastern European army defeated by the Combine.


Its a Commando-v100 dont belive me check it up on google its the typical model of the Commando. plus the country that is in hl2 might have had Commando-V100s like for the army like the russians uses american cars in the police
