In this instance the entry is for a Toyota Supra that was tuned by TRD (Toyota Racing Development). As such the TRD Supra has the designation "3000gt", why? Not sure, the MR2 tuned by TRD has the 2000gt designation for it's model, it just seems to be something TRD did.

Pretty sure it's because of their respective engine displacements. :p
