2017-06-14 22:43 | carcrasher88 a écrit Sienna is an American designed and manufactured vehicle, so it's still of American origin. I will agree that the Crossfire should be of German origin, not only is it based on a Mercedes-Benz, it was built in Germany by Karmann (yes, same Karmann involved with the VW Karmann Ghia). The CL should still be American origin because it was built in the US, likely designed in the US, and not offered anywhere other than the US and Canada (as far as I know). As far as I know, Chrysler is an American company, despite the Crossfire being based on an MB and being built in Germany, thus the Crossfire is American. |

The Focus is a difficult one, we had that argument before on webcarstory. It's a global car and not really either American or German. |

2014-01-16 11:35 | Imcdb has a "bulit in" section. The Acura CL is listed as origin: Japan and built in: USA. Maybe that could be implemented to igcd too. |

2014-01-16 08:41 | There was a massive argument about the Chrysler Crossfire here once, because it happened to use parts from an SLK. |

Desscythe17 photo_librarymode_comment 2014-01-15 20:06 | carcrasher88 a écrit Honestly, I think I agree with NS3730. The CL was only ever sold in Canada and the US, and was built exclusively in the US. If a Toyota Sienna (US built and only sold in North America) can get a US origin on IMCDb, then this can get a US origin here. Under the skin it's completely Japanese though, so you probably want to change that Sienna to Japanese origin. |
