In regards to the G/XP, from what other sites say it's written like that in regards to the concept car. As for it's inclusion in the model name, that's just how concept cars are listed.

But it made it to production, why list it as a concept car even though it's was actually real and was sold in dealerships

I've read Silnev's comments, he wrote it's "based off the 02 Bonneville GXP concept for the body" - which I don't understand, as the GXP concept has the same body as the 2000-05 production model.

Not fully, the regular models (Anything that didn't have a V8) did have a different trim and bumper than the GXP, but yes they are the same car, just with different more normal bumpers

Non-GXP:

GXP:

Edit: Turns out the weird looking one isn't actually most Non GXP Bonnevilles, it's the SLE, the actual Base model Bonnevilles look like this, basically just the GXP but with some bullshit on the doors

Is there any specific reason why this car is listed as a '02 GXP concept?
The first model year of this generation was 2000 and it didn't have any major changes until it's discontinuation in 2005.
I think it would be better to list this car as a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville.

Also, the GXP (both the concept and the production model) had quad exhausts, unlike the DF8-90.

We actually had a discussion about this car on the discord awhile ago. It was agreed the basis is based off the 02 Bonneville GXP concept for the body. The front actually comes from a pontiac concept from the same year. A 02 Pontiac Sunfire GXP concept.

The Bonneville is the top left car.

What gorgeous cars! I miss the 90s-2000s Pontiac designs.

Oh, okay I see it now. But why specifically the concept version of the GXP?
As far as I see, there isn't too much difference between it and the 2004 production model:

BTW, I think you meant the top right car, the one on the left in a Grand Prix.

Are you guys sure this car is a Bonneville?
It has a Pontiac grille, but everything else seems to be taken from different vehicles:

So, this car takes inspiration from at least four very different looking vehicles, so I think it would be better to list this car as Made For Game.

It has a Pontiac grille, but everything else seems to be taken from different vehicles:

-The front is based on the 2003-04 Saturn ION, albeit with a different bumper:

-The shape of the roof is from a Dodge Intrepid:

-The rear seems to be loosely based on the second generation Saturn SL2.

Something worth noting this car comes with three trunk badges a plan base model one without a spoiler

The second one is the "V6 Sport" version, featuring a small spoiler with its edges pointing downwards. Possibly based on the SSEi model

The third one is the "V8 Turbo" version, having a slightly sportier spoiler with its edges pointing towards either side of the car. This version also incorporates an "Imponte Racing" badge. Being the GXP model

It's definitely a Pontiac. Firstly, it's made by Imponte, who are a direct GTA-verse conversion of Pontiac. Secondly, the front end resembles a 2002 - 2005 Pontiac Sunfire:
And finally, the model name is DF8-90, which is displayed in a similar format to G8-GXP.

I agree, Pontiac Sunfire

Well this car is unique in it's design. It shares many parts of Pontiac cars.

I say this is more of a Grand Prix since there are V6 Sport and V8 Turbo models, similar to the real-life Grand Prix having V6 and V8 engines.

But it doesn't look like the Grand Prix in any way.

It could also be a Pontiac Grand Am, it has the exact body shape (also shared with the Oldsmobile Alero): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:2005_Pontiac_Grand_Am.jpg

According to GTA Wiki, this is based on a number of Saturns and Plymouths, and somehow a Honda Civic, but mainly from the Pontiac G6.

I think I should clarify on this one.

I see this car having things in common with 3 vehicles.

- Saturn ION: Grille and headlights make me think of the 2005-07 model.

- Pontiac G6: The brand being somewhat a GTA version of Pontiac, the overall size of the car, and the shape of the back end.

- Pontiac GTO (04-06): The roof and window shapes seem to match the style of the GTO, but in a 4 door form, somewhat reminicent of the Holden VZ Commodore.

Being in the US, I'd say G6 is the most fitting match for the car.
