Indeed it is. I think it's a 1949 Hudson Commodore.

Yes It is a Hudson, But much more like a 1954 Hudson Wasp : farm4.static.flickr.com/3128/2908112359_56f5b60bd0_o.jpg

Rather then a 49' Commodore Six : oldcarandtruckpictures.com/AmericanMotors/1949_Hudson_Commodore_6_4Door_Sedan-apr30e.jpg

Although this game has dirt effects on the car and paint can be scrapped off after an accident, but the damage physics is not really impressive :(

Probably my favourite car in the game after the Austin Healey.

With the extra trim it has, it must actually be a Super Wasp, instead of a normal Wasp. The standard Wasp was very spartan. 54' Super Wasp: farm3.staticflickr.com/2783/4023309372_25bb896f09.jpg

Also, it does not show up until 1951, so it should be marked as unlockable.
