This is one of my favourite games of all time, and undoubtedly the best in the series to date. Under the new publisher EA, the Burnout series saw a dramatic increase in popularity and features, from the fairly successful predecessors. With this installment came in a brand new and now fundamental mechanic known as "takedowns", which allowed the player to literally ram other players out of the race, a feature that was absent before. Because of this new aggressive feature, the element of racing therefore felt a little less focused in comparison to Burnout 1 and 2, but it created the merits of a truly fun and enjoyable game nonetheless. As you can see, the number of cars also dramatically increased, although somewhat annoyingly the car lineup consisted of regurgitated models, with each new car borrowing the model before it which is why there are so many duplicates. Also new to the series was a significantly revamped crash mode and an all new "road rage mode", encouraging the newly formed aspect of takedowns. Whilst it is my favourite, this new Burnout also raised a few concerns of mine under the subject of EA - the Burnout franchise was suddenly EAified. Advertisement banners were abundantly common, and lets not even mention the hideous soundtrack which we have this dismal publisher to thank for.

Thanks, do you the rest of the other vehicles in the game that have been posted? If so, I'd have to ask for permission. I'd love to make new images for this game, this game (I think) is the best game in the series and one of my favorites.

Problem is the only way I could get pics is to take them with a camera, and, as we all know, those kind of pictures don't come out that well...

I could try, though. I don't have all of the cars unlocked, but I have most of them. I'll see about getting them on Monday.

Pre-Revenge the only tracks that TRUELY "connected" was Airport Terminal. Revenge then had some courses that seemed to be in the same area, IE Central Route and another course that were both in the same area of Hong Kong, but no tracks in the games have RARELY used the same area of track in 2 locations AFAIK. Burnout 1 and 2 were the only ones to actually do so. (B1's Euro Tour and B2's Airport Terminal)

Now I won't even count Paradise's map because they were only reused tracks by name.

That's not true. All the tracks in a region were connected in Burnout 1 (Harbour Town and River City in Europe, Interstate, Hillside Pass and Gridlock USA in the US). In Burnout 2, every track had two variations (Airport Terminal 1 & 2 and Airport Terminal 3 or Palm Bay Heights and Palm Bay Marina) and there were a few point-to-point tracks that connected two different tracks (Ocean Sprint is Palm Bay and Big Surf). In Burnout 3, just like in Burnout 1, all the tracks in a region were connected (for example, Continental Run is Alpine, Vineyard and Riviera combined). The only track in that game that wasn't connected to anything is Dockside, as the fourth Asian track was ditched.

Burn Rubber US (346)

1. I SAID Harbour Town had an alternate version. And there isn't a Time's Square alternate version.

2. Burnout 2 had same settings, But not re-used roads.

3. Burnout 3 is the same case.

Continental Run doesn't really count. AFAIR that was some form of special course, not a normal track.

It also works in Revenge and in Burnout 2. In Burnout 2, it also works for races since there are no rolling starts in that game.
