![]() Subaru Impreza WRC WRC 10: FIA World Rally Championship (2021) | The sound is still wrong, the boxer rumble went away in 1997, when Subaru abandoned the unequal exhaust headers that they had used on their 4 door 555 GC8 group a cars. The 1997-2008 Wrc Imprezas used equal length exhaust headers which changed the sound to a more flat sounding noise. Also these wheels were rarely used after 1998 either. -- Last edit: 2022-01-24 23:11:58

It meant driving round our estate was a bit less noisy but I missed the Subaru sound! Although equal length = better performance, I believe?
![]() Subaru Impreza WRC WRC 10: FIA World Rally Championship (2021) | Great to see it in, just sad that they used the sound from the older Group A Subarus for this car, when it in real life had a very different sound, due to the fact that Subaru dropped their unequal lenght exhaust headers that gave that awesome boxer rumble, for equal length exhaust headers, which gave more power, but also made it sound more flat. Dirt Rally 2.0 got the sound right ![]() WRC Car from 1997-2000, with Equal lenght exhaust headers : www.youtube.com/watch?v=cftTBtoo4dE Group A car with unequal length exhaust headers : www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TfmmfUwby8&t=72s -- Last edit: 2021-09-18 17:42:16
![]() WRC 10: FIA World Rally Championship (2021) | MBR wrote Graphics are starting to feel outdated, they really needs to update it out their weakest points is lack of reflections which makes the cars looks like plastic toys, I mean jeez a 10th game already? This is basically fifa of racing games, at this point there is no difference, it’s basically same as Wrc 7-9 They really needs to take their time to overhaul a new feel WRC game, I’m not buying another one & will skip this one until I see a complete overhaul Next wrc will be made by codemasters, they own the WRC license starting in 2022

![]() WRC 10: FIA World Rally Championship (2021) | I love how all the older cars look like GTA SA mods. They would have better models if they just bought a 1:18 scale model and scanned it with their phone, than what they created. They could have paid a license for Hum3D models as well, as they are (usually) very close to the real cars. A friend sent me a link to the Delta HF 4WD and I laughed at it hard, but honestly, that one isn't even the worst one. I mean what the hell is that Integrale Evo II or that Lancer supposed to be? How did they even get the official WRC license? This is a joke...

![]() Audi quattro WRC 10: FIA World Rally Championship (2021) | After some checking of the trailers for the game, I've come to the conclusion that this is not the A2 version of the quattro, but the 1981 version. The trailer shows that the car has those screwed fenders for extra width, both in the front and rear axle wheels, common from the original car (specially for 1982 and the Gr. B homologation), while the A2 from 1984 was already made with wider fender panels so it didn't need those screwed ones In-game car: ![]() Real quattro A2: ![]()

![]() Lancia 037 Rally WRC 10: FIA World Rally Championship (2021) | So after checking the Acropolis trailer I think this is the 1982/1983 model, not the 1984 Evoluzione 2 model. First of all, in the trailer the car shows Walter Röhrl and codriver Christian Geistdörfer's names on the side of the car, both of them went into the Lancia team in 1983. Furthermore, as can be seem in the trailer and the image below (if I manage to do it correctly) the car has the roundy tail lights but the bumper is still attached to the car. This change of tail lights was done on agust 1982 and was widely used by 1983. It wasn't until 1984, with the Evoluzione 2 version of the 037, that Lancia dropped the rear bumper (along with other changes, specially in the mechanical side of the car)![]() -- Last edit: 2021-06-17 12:39:36
