Definitely an S14. The rear end seems to be from the pre-facelift model though:
Yes, this is a LaFerrari, meaning the Cheetah can't be one.
Clearly Countach. | ||
Edit button? | ||
BadHairDay wrote all games were obsessed with this car back in the 90s Well, it was pretty much the 90s equivalent to today's 350Z/370Z.
Same one the helicopter crashed into the back of?
Why is a door missing? | ||
Zartex? | ||
sajmon14 wrote He's quite clearly Cortina, best to ignore him.
IronHawk-711 wrote What you mean? Did you change your name? You have 31 contributor points, but I don't seem to remember you.
IronHawk-711 wrote Well, now I'm calm Who are you?
BadHairDay wrote I agree but if you think about it the 90s mustangs didn't look that mustang-ish either (and idk about you but I LOVED those) Every Mustang produced between 1979 and 2004 shared the same chassis, which means the crappy Ghia is related to the awesome SVT Cobra R.
This should have C6 in the name.
Sneak peak at the Die Another Day Jaguar?
Little Japanese influence. But it's clearly a Camaro/Firebird.
Yeah, I can tell. The #3 car rarely did anything significant, and it can be difficult to find any merchandise with this number on it.
Yes, it's a concept alright.
For the last time, this is a 1997 Ford Thunderbird.
Looks like a Ford Transit to me.
Also, the predecessor was based on a Honda Civic CRX.
Why? Does T10 not want people to drive the older models? This has kept happening since FM2 and I still don't understand why.
Yeah, I can see the Civic in it now. Well that, and the fact it's a Dinka, their version of Honda.
That it is indeed. | ||
So, apart from the colour, what's the difference between this car and www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=62640 ?
Well as of this year the 1989 R32 is legal to import.
Pretty much every game made after GT4 has swapped Esso to Exxon. If anyone can find a game from a big publisher made in 2006 or later featuring a car with "Esso" sponsors on it, I'll eat my hat.
www.nfscars.net/file/view/hotpursuit/1121.aspx There is such a thing as mods, you know.
Ginetta badge looks similar to Lotus'. That's why. But it's a Ginetta nonetheless.
ChoclitBunny wrote The whole body contour and design details of the MH indicate a Tucker... it's just the front of this MH that I cannot figure out... it's a mess, the left headlight is missing. What's left are this stupid round thing in the center of the nose (what the **** is it, anyway...?) and the right headlight, but it's the Tucker's front alright. 1. This MH is a Tucker. Period. 2. This MH is ugly, because it is a Tucker. Period. 3. A Mercury Eight is beautiful. Period. 4. This MH is not a Mercury Eight. Period. It's actually quite simple. Now admin please correct this MH's identify. Looks like you need a lesson in manners AND evidence.
There was a massive argument about the Chrysler Crossfire here once, because it happened to use parts from an SLK.
It was also featured in an episode of Top Gear when they were testing various early 90s sport saloons and I know ADAC from all the crash tests they do.
One thing I don't get is why no-one apart from Rinspeed and SWF are admins. We've got plenty of mods, time to promote someone. It doesn't really help that they're both in similar time zones, meaning for several hours of the day this website goes unprotected from spam and whatever. We need someone from the Pacific to do some administration duties. Also, it would help greatly in approving games and changing car names.
ChoclitBunny wrote OMG, you're kiddin', right?! The Fiesta's headlights and grill are totally different in the first place! This game car is ugly as hell, indeed, but it's an Opel Corsa B Fünftürer alright. OMFG. I mean the body's model ITSELF is a Fiesta, the front end TEXTURES belong to a corsa. Did I not make myself clear?
Desscythe17 wrote What kind of Fiesta body? The 1995 - 1998 pre-facelift model:
I honestly think this should just be Made For Game. I mean look at it, the car has a Ford Fiesta body, an Opel Corsa front end, a Crown Victoria rear end and godknows what else on the side.
I can tell this is a Trabant just by looking at it.
No. It. Isn't. Does a Toyota TF105 have a metal bar headrest? Does it have vents on top of the side panels? Gold wheels? A flat, short nose? An almost entirely red paint scheme? No. If anything, this is an older Indy car from the 80s. Look at this March 81C from the 1982 season, and look how much better it matches: It probably isn't even an 81C, but it sure as hell isn't an F1 car, especially one that recent.
Wrong. If you read the entire page, you'd find out it was the test car for 1999 aswell:
I'm still going with Lumina ATM. I mean, there's already a GMC Sierra in this game so an American vehicle isn't out of the question.
I've watched a video of it, and it's more like a lower class Formula car (F3, GP3 etc.) in both sound and performance. It has a top speed of 150 mph.
It looks bare without any sponsors.
Well, just noticed that the body seems to resemble a short 2009 chassis F1 car. That means it's a Renault R29 with an R28 airbox.
Now THIS is crazy. | ||
Renault R28, recognisable by the airbox:
The Dallara that someone else mentioned.
No. Testarossa is WAY off. This looks mid to late 70s.
That's because they changed it due to the copyright rules regarding the car. Kit car companies had made loads of money off of the GT40 name from the 70's through to the 2000's, and Ford didn't bother with a lawsuit so they referred to the production model as a GT starting from 2005 onwards. In GT Concept it is referred to as a GT40 like the actual concept car it is based on, you can even see it in this screenshot. To comply with the lawsuit though, the car was renamed the "GT Concept" in GT4 and beginning from GT6 the door stripe now reads "FORD". Original Concept: This image was hard to find as a lot of the images have since been photoshopped to read "Ford GT" on the door.
Yeah, I noticed on the enhanced version, the word "Toppo" has a few dots above it, which I believe represent "Minica".
^ Yes, the concept was called the GT40. Only the production model was called a GT. |
