Ford Simulator 6 (1995)
It was based on the Mazda MX-6, and shared many things with it, like the Mazda 2,5 litre v6 engine, which is different than the 2,5 litre Duratec V6, that was powering the Mondeo, which had about the same power.

Volvo S60 STCC

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex (2016)
A French made silhouette car, it`s made by a company called Solution F, and features a mid mounted 3.5 litre Nissan V6 engine, which makes around 400 hp.
The car is also rear wheel drive.
All cars in the Swedish Touring Car Championship ( STCC ) shares this tech, and only the bodys differ, and it makes for some very boring racing, and finally people start to realise this, and they are looking at other types of cars to race, and hopefully it will be the international TCR series that will replace it.
Volvo 850 Estate

GRID Autosport (2014)
A 2 litre naturally aspirated 5 cylinder engine, making around 280 +hp, and revving to 8500 rpm.

Volvo S40 BTCC

S40 Racing (1997)
1997 S40, built for the British Touring Car Championship in 1997, and uses a 2 litre naturally aspirated 5 cylinder engine, which makes around 300 hp, and revs to 8500 rpm.
The car weighs around 975 kg.
1997 was not the best year for Volvo, in BTCC since almost no other car could come close to the all conquering Williams Renault Lagunas in that year, but in 1998, Volvo came back strongly, and won the championship :)
Volvo S60

Volvo: The Game (2009)
The Super 2000 Volvo S60, first built by Prodrive, for the 2002 European Touring Car Championship, then taken over by Swedish firm Polestar and raced and developed every year. for the Swedish Touring Car Championship.
It uses a 2 lite naturally aspirated 5 cylinder engine, that makes around 300 hp, and revs to 8750 rpm :)
The intersting part about this car, was that this was the first car that ran on E85 Ethanol, in the Swedish Touring Car Championship, in an attempt by Volvo to show that eco did not have to mean boring cars, and they did have some success with this car, the same E85 5 pot engine, was later used in the C30 Super 2000 car, built by Polestar in Karlstad Sweden :)

Volvo 850 Estate

Volvo: The Game (2009)
The 1994 BTCC 850 Estate. BTCC stands for British Touring Car Championship, and it`s powered by a 2 litre naturally aspirated 5 cylinder engine, and it puts out around 280-300 hp, and revs to 8500 rpm :)
The reason for using the estate was that did get a lot of attention, but infact, when they did start the project, they could only get station wagons, in the thin metal, that they needed to make it a lightweight racer.
The weight is around 975 kg, since that was the minimum weight for fwd cars in Super Touring :)
Volvo S40 BTCC

Volvo: The Game (2009)
The champion car from the 1998 British Touring Car Championship. It was driven by swedish driver Rickard Rydell, and it was powered by a 2 litre naturally aspirated, 5 cylinder engine, which put out around 300 hp, and revs to 8500 rpm :)
It sounds awesome in real life :)

It looks like the put a cabover front grille on a conventional truck.
