Koll123 wrote MCI D4500 ? I'm more tempted to say the NovaBus RTS-06 WFD, though my only particular evidence is the lowset front lights, and the shape of the side doors.
Auto-Friki wrote I have no idea which car you're talking about. It may have a certain appearance. I am by no means surprised, Dutton are or were a relatively small kit-car manufacturer. Their Phaeton S4 is Lotus 7 based but includes the wheel arches moulded into the body like the picture; I can't think of any Lotus/Caterham/Westfield models with this body style. It's by no means a perfect match, but I'd argue better than simply putting Lotus 7.
Best I can come up with is the Dutton Phaeton Kit Car from 1977. There's definitely hints of other Dutton kits though, like the Melos.
This will be the 2011 Oshkosh M1083 MTV
Definitely based on the M8 Armoured Gun System. Not sure whether to put it as the original manufacturer FMC, or BAE who bought them in 2005 and are now re-releasing it.
I believe that, as it has the larger turret, this is the upgraded FMC AAVP-7A1 from 1982 onward, rather than a standard LVTP-7
Could it in fact be a Citroen HY Currus Camper? I imagine that wasn't their intention but it has turned out remarkably similar www.citronico.nl/miniatuur/citroen-hy-currus/
The only bootlid I have found thus far that matches this is from an '79-82 Ford LTD. The profile of the front on the other hand reminds me of the BMW E30
WarLord wrote maybe, but a similar vehicle is used in coal mines, it is known as "low tractor" A good shout, the closest I could find is the Damascus MAC-XP first introduced in 2003
Huh, this model is an oft used asset. We identified this as the 1950 DKW Meisterklasse when pictures were put up for COD:MW3
Prett certain it's a DAF, but seems to be a mix of models, or at least decades. I'd say an LF pre- and post-facelift
How about the Karosa B732? No blanked grille on the front as above but otherwise a pretty close match
I'd say the closest match is the 1990 MAN FX2000
As a whole, it reminds me somewhat of the MG ZS...the front pre-facelift and rear post-facelift. Taking the front on it's own it's pretty close to the Mitsuoka Ryoga
I'd be more inclined to say something by MAN, potentially a 2009 TGM?
Pretty certain this can only be a Ruston-Bucyrus 22RB, but with a swing door rather than a sliding one
I see a fair amount of Austin Mini Van in it too
The van-like body and profile of the bonnet (flat then bending down at the front) could it be a Dozor-B by Malyshev? www.armyrecognition.com/images/stories/east_europe/ukraine/wheeled_vehicle/dozor-b/Dozor-B_4x4_wheeled_light_armoured_vehicle_personnel_carrier_Ukraine_Ukrainian_army_defense_industry_line_drawing_blueprint_001.jpg
Given it looks to be a wide body (at least flared arches) shall we take the view it is a '69 Alfa GTAm? Not sure if it's possible to determine whether it's a 1750 or 2000 though.
Mercedes Benz O350 Tourismo, and the shape of that swooping C-Pillar ties it to facelifted 1st-Gen appearing in '99
I feel like this was pretty cut and dried, although if we take the view that it doesn't have much by way of exterior trim then this would be a 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne 2-Door Sedan.
In as much as it looks like anything at all, it's pretty reminiscent of the circa 1980 Renault 5 Turbo
How about the DKW F89? It has the bustleback you see here, came in coupe form, and had the small rear window - unlike its successor the DKW 3=6 which had a wrap-around rear window.
I'd argue it's a Volvo 240 saloon with the rear light clusters of the Estate
I'd say a 1962 Ford Galaxie Sunliner
Might it be a Trojan Utility? Given the solid wheels and fairly utilitarian design.
Einsa EDU looks to be a pretty close match. There are two varieties, EDU-A and EDU-WIDE both of which have a cab to one side. No guesses on year though
GoodTwApple wrote Force Protection Inc Cougar H +1
Although they don't have the rounded body around the front drum, I'd say this is almost certainly a Hamm HW90, dating back as much as 1979.
At present the closest I've found is the Hough-Paymover T-Series. These come in various sizes from T-180 to T-300, but there are seemingly no body differences. A US product, the earliest incarnation appears to be from 1971
This would be a Clark CK30 Tug. Only date I can find for these is 1974.
SolanaBogon2 wrote Clark Clarktor? +1I'd say there's no question. I believe the Clarktor 6 date as far back as 1940.
Could be a Hyster 130F, earliest one I could find is 1989.
Pretty sure everyone's on the right track, but went for too late a year. The 1935 Ford 5-Window Coupe has a pretty large mostly flat grille, and roughly the same coupe body as the 1940.
twilight sparkplug wrote Some kinda IH anyway. But trucks confuse me. Does it get listed as a CO VCO DCO? I dunno what those mean. Done some digging and the only clear difference between each model is the engine type. CO is a standard 6-Cyl. Petrol engine; VCO is a V8; and DCO is a 6-Cyl. Diesel Engine. All were offered in 4x2 format like this truck. Details on the second viewable page www.autopaper.com/1963-international-harvester-model-co-vco-dco-tilt-cab-sales-brochure.php
Bruisemobile wrote Chevrolet. +1 for the Chevy van, circa 1971
That there's a Plymouth Gran Fury, I actually have the Matchbox toy too! From the Matchbox wiki it's apparently specifically the '77 version though this body style (on the actual car) goes back to '75.
I'm inclined to say Made for Game - that light pod on the front of the car is from the Toyota FCX-80 concept www.carstyling.ru/ru/car/1979_toyota_cx_80/ . Haven't quite worked out the rest of the car, maybe something Nissan-y
TheGreaser wrote Land Cruisers always get this bodytype. (+1)Definitely a Land Cruiser, a J79 version as it's a pickup, and the kink in the bodywork after the front wheelarch ties it to the 2007+ facelift
I'm tempted to say the GAZ-19 Panel van, but the more I look at it the less sure I am www.classiccarcatalogue.com/G/gaz%201955%2019.jpg
TheGreaser wrote I think it's a Bel Air or the Pontiac Chieftain, tbh. It's got the American-sized license plate. I think its a bit of a mish-mash, cobbled together just like the Magazine cover. The profile is pretty '53 Chevrolet Bel-Air given the chrome swoop just visible. But the grille is from a '55 Oldsmobile 88
The TAR H2 has a very proounced nose, absent on this model. I would suggest it is an M2TL6 - served a very similar function but has more similar proportions www.latiltrucks.net/pictures.html
I believe this is pretty close to a Daihatsu HiJet 55 Wide (S60). Specifically the post 1980 facelift version. But then, so many Kei trucks of that era are so similar.
Nah, they're definitely different. I'd say this one is a Renault FT-17
It is South African, but is definitely not an IFV. A far closer match would be the Denel Land Systems G6 www.igcd.net/vehicles.php?make=Denel+Land+Systems&model=G6 this goes for the other one too, as they could also be fitted with the Marksman Anti-Air system
That'll be a Sandock-Austral Ratel IFV, and given the small calibre weapon visible I'd say the Command variant introduced in '79 tanks-encyclopedia.com/coldwar/South_Africa/ratel -- Last edit: 2020-04-18 09:10:18
By the swoop of the onnet and the colour scheme I would say its a 1947+ Ford 8N
I don't mean to be rude, but it does say Jelcz on the front there. Lets say the Jelcz 300 as it matches pretty well the others on this site www.igcd.net/vehicles.php?make=Jelcz&model=300
I hate to say it but I am getting a distinctly Austin Princess vibe from it.
I want to say Grove RT740, which go back to 1980. The clincher is the little nubs to the front and rear of the cab and rounded mudguards. It could potentially be the larger 745 or 750...but that would probably require more pixels than this game can provide |
