Hey! It's '2-box'! (That's my nickname for the 240 wagon, because it's like a smaller box, stacked on a longer box)
Black Bart wrote Excellent! I'd never expected this. Agreed, I wouldn't be surprised if the next Chevrolet addition is the 80's Blazer. That...would be awesome.
stryder237 wrote Another El Dorado (just like the ramp truck and the Titan) Actually, Titan is the brand, the model was El Dorado. This is another Titan model.
Is it just me, or does that cop car look like the new Taurus Interceptor? (notice the headlights) Oh, and the truck looks like an International 4000 Series (Pre DuraStar) -- Last edit: 2011-04-28 20:31:14
F-100? | ||
ShantJ wrote Is it an S model? Yes.
Antti-san wrote Indeed! By the way, wasn't the same engine (Ford 335 V8) used in Mustangs too? Yes, from the same family of engines as the Cobra Jet and the original Boss 302.
J-2 wrote It is in fact an Opel Omega A, (using the 3000 24V version as base) but tweaked by Lotus, as we all know. Actually, this one's technically a tuned Vauxhall Carlton (hence the name), the tuned Omega was called the Lotus Omega. Just sayin'.
J-2 wrote Itīs not actually downloadable...you get this along the other 2 painted Audis, the Cuda, the 550, the 037, the CCX, the LF-A and the SLS on the Forza 3 Ultimate Edition...all this will in fact be available to download in the future...but nobody knows when. Since then, thatīs the only way to get them. That's right. As of now, the only 'Ultimate Edition' car that should be listed as downloadable is the 550 (it's available as a free download sample pack car).

XThUnDeRX wrote Ram became a seperate Brand, it is no longer connected with Dodge. Actually, Ram is a 'sub-brand'. Quoting Fred Diaz, Ram division President: "Ram trucks will always and forever be Dodges. Ram will always have the Dodge emblem inside and outside and they will be vinned as a Dodge. We need to continue to market as Ram so Dodge can have a different brand identity: hip, cool, young, energetic. That will not fit the campaign for truck buyers. The two should have distinct themes."
This just goes to show how inaccurate the performance data of the game is. A stock 1303 S is listed at a top speed of 71 MPH. On the flat, straight stretch of road near the Oahu airport, I can reach 75. The Citroen 2CV can reach about 61 on the same stretch.

I don't know why, but when I see one of these TM ice cream vans, I think of a more 'metalified' version of that one song by Van Halen...weird...
If only the number was '21', instead of '2'...
That's Dom's Charger from 'Fast Five'. That guy loves Mopar products, doesn't he? (Charger in the original, Roadrunner at the end of Tokyo Drift.) I read on Autoblog (Will post link when I find it) that it has 900 hp, but most of the ones used in the film 'only' have 400 or so. 1971 Dodge Charger (or 70, since there's an option of a 'Daytona' wing).
Looks like a Chevrolet Astro with a 2001-2005 Dodge Ram 1500 nose...
Agree on the body, but why does the nose look like a GMC C/K1500?
That's quite the name for a car/brand....

stryder237 wrote The faction this vehicle belongs to is the marauders. They strange scavengers who live on mars and where strange white clothes and odd gas mask like helmets. They where origianlly ultor scientists in RF1 + 2 and theyu where the evil corporation in saints row 2- maybe a connection. Marauders live in the badlands, in a small town made from scrap. They also worship skeletons made from scrap. poles with skulls on can be seen around mars. Marauders also have the nanoforge, when put into a rifle, the nonoforge made the bullets melted anything they hit. Marauders attack anyone at night and they are heavily armed with make-shift weapons. It's always been known that there's a connection between Ultor in Red Faction and Saint's Row. The developers even said it themselves. Why else is the EDF Scout available in Saint's Row DLC, right?
J-2 wrote All my pics are from the PC version. Got it. Must be a different texture set. That's why I didn't recognize it.
stryder237 wrote How do you get this car, and what DLC is it from? It's coming in the 'Exploration Pack', along with the Stratos. Should be arriving within a week, I think, on the PC, PS3 and 360 versions.
Which version is this from? I play the 360 version, and the van there looks exactly like the one from TDU. Oh, and awkward Cadillac grille... -- Last edit: 2011-04-25 15:24:15

Sandie wrote I saw one in a multistorey car park in Edinburgh a few years back. Similar to the one in the main pic in terms of colour and spec. Here nobody wants to drive cars that are so large and uneconomical which is why Ford have never tried to sell the CV here though a few have been imported many of which have been turned into police car replicas. The same thing is behind successive failed attempts to sell Cadillacs (though they tried the SAAB based BLS which failed more because of a poorer image than BMW, Audi etc), Hummers, American Chevrolets and the Ford Explorer. I see. That does make a lot of sense. I remember reading that Corvettes had to be sold in Cadillac dealers because of how 'cheap' the Chevrolets were in Europe. I believe they started selling them in Chevrolet dealers in Europe after the Camaro and Cruze, right? I bet Cadillac will do MUCH better in Europe with the SRX and the upcoming new products. It'll be like Buick in China all over again. With how the new Explorer is, maybe Ford will start selling them in Europe after they realize how well the new Jeep Grand Cherokee will do there.
stryder237 wrote I have never ever seen a crown vic in england. i would think that they might have sold them here because it sold well in america and the sell the F-150s and other USA made fords in england Well, you see, over in the UK, they have even stricter emissions and safety laws in place compared to the US (I believe New York and California have the most un-forgiving emissions laws in the US). The vehicles Ford sells are different than in the US, although President and CEO, Alan Mulally's 'One Ford' plan has brought the Fiesta to America, and has unified the Focus into one single model. Also, the C-Max is coming to America for the 2012 model year. I'm also not aware of any Crown Victorias in Europe, but I think they have them in the UAE (United Arab Emirates), though. They also had them in Asia for a while. -- Last edit: 2011-04-24 18:32:58
bugravarol wrote Whatta? Are you referring to the rusty pipes surrounding the back? If so, I do believe that it's some kind of 'armor' or something, they sometimes use metal piping on demolition derby cars so they'll be able to handle harder hits better. If not...then I have no clue.
