@tomym125: Seriously? It's a Chevrolet Impala... www.velocityjournal.com/images/stk/2009/ch2009impala31718770m.jpg
Is this seriously a playable vehicle?
Look closely through this car. Is that a Jaguar XF in the background?
On the right: Is that an Audi A6 [C6]?
carcrasher88 wrote GMC Colorado? WTH? Doesn't exist. It's a GMC Canyon. BUMP
carcrasher88 wrote GMC Canyon, not Colorado. Colorado is Chevrolet. BUMP
Seriously, guys...it's Canyon, not Colorado. The Colorado is a Chevrolet product. How many times must I bring this up before someone gets it right?
Unplayable? | ||
First one on the site! Is it just me, or does this shrunken down version seem to accentuate the cars sharp lines?
This, along with the Target Uberschall and the Yodobashi Hydros were originally supposed to be sponsor cars for this game, but didn't make the cut for the final version. They still remain in the games files, though, and can be accessed through some kind of hack or something (mainly on the PC version, probably). With that said, I'm not sure if these should be here, if they are hack cars, but the chrome car might be able to be on this site, since that one is mainly available through a glitch of some sort, and not a hack. (I think)
True, the Evo IX wasn't released until March 2005, as a 2006 model. It's obviously a Lancer Evolution VIII.
@megaessin: Wrong, the GXP model has a 260 hp Turbocharged engine. Which reminds me, someone needs to change this to GXP.
Coupe, atcually. It's only got two doors. Also, it looks more like an Opel/Vauxhall Astra. Kind of like the compact coupe from Burnout 3.
2004-2008 [UA6] or [UA7]
Ford Puma? | ||
If you look closely, it does have the same or similar chrome strip between the tail lights, like the Vanquish. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2a/Aston_Martin_Vanquish_S_hl_silver.jpg
Yeah, the body is definitely of a 350Z, with a nose that makes me think of the 240Z concept from '99, with Supra headlights.
Vauxhall Corsavan [B]? -- Last edit: 2011-06-19 00:12:26
Not 1969, it's a 1974. You know, like the Bluesmobile.
Yeah, but this vehicle is Spanish: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_MB100
International 4300 (DuraStar)
Yeah, that would be cool. I'm well aware that they aren't all from movies. Lots of them are too new to have had a big role in a movie chase (Ram 3500, 2009 F-150, Nissan 370Z), or they're too rare (Zonda Cinque, MP4-12C, Alfa TZ2, McLaren F1). Even the 2002 Neon counts, because on IMCDb, the only '02 models have 1 star ratings. But, the more movie cars, the cooler it gets.
Based on what I found, this could be here because of an '86 Camaro's role (although they used an IROC-Z) in Beverly Hills Cop II: imcdb.org/vehicle_6526-Chevrolet-Camaro-1986.html
I FINALLY figured out the reason for this car being in the game! imcdb.org/vehicle_174171-Alfa-Romeo-159-2006.html
Body makes me think an Audi A4, nose makes me think Renault Laguna.
Correction! Class: Cars, Sedan
I remember when I first saw this car on the street in the DLC. I immediately thought of this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heartbeat_City
I believe this is here to represent the fact that this generation (1996-1999) is the only modern pre-R35 GT-R that can be legally imported into the US for daily use. -- Last edit: 2011-06-11 00:30:21
I'm assuming that this car is here for it's role in Miami Vice... imcdb.org/vehicle_51267-Lamborghini-Jalpa.html
It's 100% a C-10. It's been scrolled over in various E3 Demo gameplay videos, and shows as 'Chevrolet C-10'.
Check out what I just found on Jalopnik! jalopnik.com/5810300/sweet-tooth-from-twisted-metal-is-more-terrifying-in-real-life
LOL, Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Nice ad placement!
baldwinvette77 wrote it was a 1970 model had a duel scoop hood like a 442 but the grilles were too narrow to be a 71-72 and too wide to be a 69 would be cool if they added a 442, although i cant name any 70's movies that had prominent use of one They could have a 442. I searched IMCDb for 442s, and found one prominently used in the 2007 film 'The Hitcher'. imcdb.org/vehicle_80346-Oldsmobile-442-1970.html - 4 stars.

Let me guess...because of the shorter nose?
Accidental double post? Otherwise, yeah, it would be pretty cool. I'm not sure how true this is, but I remember reading somewhere that the only Decepzione that was built had been destroyed, because it was so hard to work on. Anyone here got any proof of it's destruction, or anything that says otherwise?
At it's size in it's day and age, it was pretty quick, with a top speed of 87 mph. www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/568/Fiat-Abarth-695-SS.html
This Jalpa makes me think...what if they put in the Dodge Daytona 'Decepzione', the one that has the Jalpa's V8 engine?
'MAG'??? | ||
Looks more like an S15 Silvia to me.
That's right. According to my calculations, the current licensed vehicle count (not including additional taxi and police versions, and not including un-licensed trucks, buggies and buses) stands at 87/140(?). That leaves at least 53 more licensed vehicles that haven't been seen.
Vehicle name: Camion Hypermax 505 www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EcJKzte0Oc This video shows it at 0:11, while in Shift. Look for it at the bottom right.
Wow, that almost looks like a screenshot from the actual show.
The image on the main game page is not compliant with the vehicle page image...is this some sort of site error? The Impala page is also acting up as well... igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=37789
Pretty sweet truck. Now if only they had the 1990 Chevrolet 454 SS. |
