Not sure of the nose, but the rear looks like a Hyundai Genesis.
Looks like a Caterpillar, but in orange instead of yellow.
Hyster? | ||
Agreed, with a little bit of older RX in the nose.
Volkswagen Santana? | ||
Definitely a Captiva. | ||
Has a Mazda2 (closely related to the Fiesta) nose.

Well, the team that ran these Lacettis (with the exception, of course, being the 'Extreme') is from the UK, perhaps that should be the origin?
Origin: South Korea, not US. The Lacetti is a rebadged version of the Daewoo model of the same name.
Not exactly 'Made for Game'. It's easily recognizable as an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. The 'O-Ring' in Saints Row 2 is listed as Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile (Mayer being spelled incorrectly), but I think these should be listed as they are on IMCDb. www.imcdb.org/vehicle_214180-Custom-Made-Oscar-Mayer-Wienermobile-1995.html -- Last edit: 2013-11-01 16:09:00
Rear badge reads 'Turbo 2.6-24'. Turbocharged, 2.6L engine, 24 valves. Closest engine by displacement between both the Eclipse and TT is the 2.5L I-5 under the hood of the TT-RS, which is also turbocharged. The TT, though, has never had a 24 valve engine. The fourth-generation Eclipse, on the other hand, did. The 24V 6G75 V6 in the GT. -- Last edit: 2013-10-31 21:43:43
Rear badging reads 220ci V6. 220 cubic inches of displacement is right in the middle of the displacements of the current V6s available in the Edge (which are the 213.1 Duratec 35 and the 227.3 Duratec 37).
Looking closely, GTA V still has that truck, except it's now called the JoBuilt Hauler. The body looks exactly like the IV Packer, but turned into a semi and different badging. www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=59428
Rear badging says 3.5 V6 FWD...but the car is RWD.
ZIL-4331, I think. | ||
Sorry for double post, but...it's still a Euro-market Focus. Not Made for: USA.
[W164], US built. | ||
[W463], Origin: Austria www.imcdb.org/vehicle_124810-Mercedes-Benz-G-500-W463.html
[W210], 2000-03 facelift.
[XU30] | ||
German origin, not US. The only Focus that is US origin is the North American market model from 2008-11. Everything else is Origin: Germany.
Euro-market Sport trim level?
[E53], US built. | ||
Could this be a 2002-04 facelifted model? Regardless, C5 [Typ 4B].
Other 5-Series models that don't have a model designation after the 5 are listed simply as BMW 5, and this is an [E60].
Well, the matching paint color is just one color that the car can be found in. I've got Franklin rolling around in one in the most known colors of the Super Sport, black and orange.
Found one at the location mentioned above. Is it just me...or does this car look like it has two engines in the rear?
Found something really interesting in-game. There's an intersection in Downtown Vinewood that has two billboards on adjacent buildings. On the right is an Obey (Audi) billboard in white. On the left is an Ubermacht (BMW) billboard in black. The Ubermacht billboard says 'DISobey', and appears to be a GTA take on this interesting pair of billboards: adsoftheworld.com/sites/default/files/images/juggernaut.jpeg Also of note, the vehicles on these billboards either match or are close to the ones from the real ad. The Tailgater (A6) being close to the A4 from the billboard, with the Sentinel being an M3, which is in the real BMW ad. Interesting little detail right there. -- Last edit: 2013-10-26 01:26:22
On the Legendary Motorsports website in-game, it's mentioned that this car first went into production in 1960 (the year the 250 GT Spyder California SWB was introduced). Has a 3.0L engine (matches the displacement of the 250 GTO). Also, the $1,000,000 in-game price tag matches how much a 250 GTO would've sold for at auction...in 1986. -- Last edit: 2013-10-26 00:24:00
From it's listing on southernsanandreassuperautos.com in-game: 'An Italian luxury car company founded in Bologna at the beginning of the 20th Century that focused on racing cars.' That's a direct nod to Maserati, which was founded in Bologna in 1914. It also mentions them having failed to win many Grand Prix (Maserati only has 9 Grand Prix victories to it's name, although they also have 2 driver's championships as well). -- Last edit: 2013-10-26 00:08:37
Not the Vario, but it's predecessor, the 1986-95 T2. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_T2
I'm thinking either Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series or Nissan Patrol Y61.
Same? imcdb.org/vehicle_135165-Ford-F-250-1978.html
The in-game car is clearly based on the physical model that houses the game. Perhaps an Autozam Revue? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autozam_Revue -- Last edit: 2013-10-19 21:21:08
