If it takes place in the USA, then it's not a Chrysler Voyager. There was a Chrysler Voyager in the US, but it was just a Plymouth Voyager with a Chrysler emblem on the grille. This has a crosshair grille (which European Voyagers had), but if it takes place in the US, it's a Dodge Caravan.
A 3dr that ISN'T a hatchback has a setup where what would usually be the trunk and the rear glass open up at the same time, also known as a liftback. 2-doors have a traditional trunk, and are either known in coupe form, or the original traditional 2-door sedan form. The difference there is that a 2-door sedan is mainly just a 4-door sedan minus two doors, where a coupe has more distinguishing design features to separate it from a sedan, if it's even based on one in the first place. The basic difference in a 2 and 4 door sedan 1st gen Jetta is that the 2 door has a full second row window like the 4 door, but that area is solid sheetmetal instead of a door, or simply put: visually, it looks exactly like the 4-door sedan, just without the rear door handles.
There was no 3-door Jetta for the first generation, only a 4-door sedan or 2-door sedan. As for the front, maybe a B11 Sentra grille on a T12 Stanza front end, all placed on a first-generation Jetta 2-door sedan body?
Actually, if you use the All Secret Cars code after 100% completion, and go to a phonebooth to get a car, the game calls it Ferrini - Black.
Volkswagen Jetta A1 [Type 16]?
Good point. This one's a Club Wagon, the news van is an Econoline, both 1992-96.
Same model as the other one, 1992-96 Econoline with 2003-07 bumper.
Looking at the details, this has a 1992-96 Econoline grille, with a 2003-07 E-Series bumper. Plus, there's a badge on the hood instead of the grille, which means further leans towards the 1992-96 (though the badge remained on the hood until 2003, where it was moved to the grille). -- Last edit: 2014-11-15 14:59:47
Ford Ranger taillights?
Looks like it's got altered Fassuto taillights, and the front end looks like a modified Daihatsu Sirion. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daihatsu_Storia Edit: Also, this is another variant of the XSV, so shouldn't it be a Rover Mini Cooper like the other XSVs? -- Last edit: 2014-11-14 00:37:33
Rear end looks rather Mustang-like, though the rest is still Camaro.
This is definitely NOT an RSX. The nose looks like a 2001-02 Acura TL with slightly altered headlights and the rear looks like an E46 3-Series. Plus, it's a sedan and not a coupe.
CF 85? | ||
Looks like an AmTran Genesis to me.
Yep, 2004-07. Question is, is this a Regular Cab or SuperCab bodystyle?
Yep, with the wide winged badge at the top of the grille, this is a 2005-07 model.
Brand new (at the time) 2007.
Open grille and non-divided hood opening makes this an Evolution IX, right?
Can't exactly say from just this shot if it's a Blue Bird body or not, but it's definitely an International 3800.
The side profile does kinda look like a reversed ZERO (ZERO front -> Javelin 200 rear, ZERO rear -> Javelin 200 front), but the details just don't match the ZERO at all, only the side profile, and that's not even a 100% match.
Samara was only used on export models, in Russia it was known as the Sputnik.
That's actually correct, since this isn't a North American model, it's not an Aveo5, but just Aveo.
Personally, I think it's a V20 Camry, as it's already listed, with a little bit of MX83 Cressida in the rear.
The darker green below has me thinking it could be a Fendt or John Deere, but the lighter green on top looks more like a Claas, and then the aqua on the side looks like the same shade Kubota uses on some of their models that aren't orange. -- Last edit: 2014-11-09 17:16:43
Bedford CA? | ||
Econoline/E-Series with the grille and headlights squared off to look a bit more F-Series-like?
Later model Chevrolet C/K body with International Harvester B-Series grille?
Agreed, just with a stretched out bumper and a slightly altered and slanted windshield.
Looks like a Chevrolet Suburban/Tahoe with Cadillac Escalade taillights.
Body definitely looks more like a 620, though the front end looks like a Wasp. Not uncommon for cars to be mostly one vehicle with part of another slapped on. For example, Pro Skater 3 had a police car that was a Chevrolet Caprice with the rear texture of a Ford Crown Victoria. www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=17192
Anyone else notice the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the ad on the wall in the background? Since it doesn't seem against the rules to list vehicles on in-game ads, maybe someone could get a shot of it?
Maybe the paint job was originally meant for the Sabre Turbo, and they ended up putting it on the Stallion instead and forgot to change the decals to match the manufacturer?
Strangely, if you look at the decals on the car, it has Declasse decals instead of Classique ones, which leads me to think that they've changed the manufacturer of the car.
But isn't the simulator meant to represent the 1995 lineup? Shouldn't that mean they're all 1995 models, not 1994?
Ford B-Series? | ||
Datsun 620/720 or Dodge D50?
Kinda looks more like something 80's Dodge/Plymouth. Maybe a Charger/Turismo, or Omni 024/Horizon TC3?
1970 Dodge Coronet without the chrome on the front end?
In the case of the first three Midnight Club games, many of the traffic vehicles have an exact texture map (literally, the texture of the vehicle) that is of the actual vehicle (minus badging), then modified to look less like the vehicle. Usually that includes modification to vehicle lighting, grilles, and other vents. In this case, it's not as modified. The only apparent changes to the badgeless texture is that it was placed on a mesh (the structure underneath the texture) that is a bit wider, so it's not in proper proportion, along with non-Crown Comfort wheels.
No, that's actually how the Crown Comfort's rear looks. www.hansens-hikes.com/Gallery/Transportation/Taxi/070123_Taxi_Toyota_Comfort_Red_Rear.JPG It just seems to have been stretched a bit, which is why the taillights look a bit out of proportion.
Turns out this car appears (with it's doors open) on a pair of posters on a two-lane one-way street in Detroit. The location is on a building that reads 'Food Drink Fun', or something like that. There's two of them, and have a website address on them, WWW.LAMBORGHINICARS.COM, a currently inactive domain.
Beater version based on the playable one, so 1978 model year.
Apparently the official name is Ducati SuperSport 1000 DS or SS1000DS, just shortened to SS1000 for this game. Many of the vehicles aren't referred to by their full names. -- Last edit: 2014-10-18 17:51:08
Did some searching on Google, and apparently the proper name is Aprilia RSV Mille R Factory.
Took the image and used Paint.net to lighten it up. Grille has 7 vertical bars, consistent with a Kenworth W900 from the early 70's, with the headlights replaced what look like more modern Freightliner ones. -- Last edit: 2014-10-17 01:56:21
Nah, It's a 601. It's width was just stretched.
That's a Taurus based Police Interceptor, not a Crown Victoria.
Looks like an Acura TL to me.
Ford Transit Connect | ||
It look like it's supposed to be a Crown Victoria, since the police car shares the same body. |
