To be a possible rival to Gran Turismo 2, it has four characteristics that make this game, unknown until now, unique.
- 1 That this game has a very well detailed cabin camera with even needles that really work and that I know, well synchronized.
- 2 to be the only Playstation 2 game to date to have the Porsche brand before Electronic Arts signed the contract.
- 3 Let the Ferrari brand appear long before Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 was released.
- 4 The game was released one year before Gran Turismo 3 was released.

Xpand Rally Xtreme (2006)
The fictitious brand name has to do with an Italian word. Retti, in Italian, means right. What does it mean? That both the fictitious Retti brand and the Bugatti brand have one thing in common: They are Italian words. Although Ettore Bugatti was born in Italy, years later he took French nationality, so the car in real life is made in France.
MINI Cooper S

Xpand Rally (2004)
The brand name is all about size. But the fact is that this car is a bit longer in battle than the Italic PNT. But instead, the name of the model has to do with the trade name that is dedicated to making and selling barrels.
Fiat Punto Super 1600

Xpand Rally (2004)
Brand and model names have one thing in common: One, the brand's country of origin (which in this case is Italy); the other, the acronym for the model's name in real life (Which in this case is the FIAT Punto).
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII

Xpand Rally (2004)
The fictional brand name Monsoon has to do with a wind name originating from South Asia. Although the origin of the base car is Japanese, it has nothing to do with the name of wind, since that wind is originally from the area of India and Southeast Asia.
Seat Córdoba WRC

Xpand Rally (2004)
The name of the fictitious brand Flamenco has to do with flamenco dancing. And what does a dance have to do with a brand that is called that in a game? Because flamenco dance originates from Spain, so the base model of this car is a SEAT Córdoba, which in turn, the SEAT brand is originally from Spain.
Peugeot 206 WRC

Xpand Rally (2004)
The fictitious brand name Lion has to do with the Peugeot brand emblem. The emblem of the Peugeot brand is a lion, so the name of the fictitious brand Lion was literally inspired by the emblem of said brand.
Subaru Impreza WRC

Xpand Rally (2004)
The name of the fictitious brand, which is Kosumo, has one thing in common with the real brand, which is Subaru. Kosumo, in Japanese, means Cosmo, which literally means that the Subaru brand, its emblem are stars, so the name of the fictitious brand Kosumo was inspired by the Subaru brand emblem.

Has anyone had the feeling that the Rally Italia, due to the narrow roads there are (Except for the arcade mode track), is quite similar to those of MonteCarlo? I say this because there is a mod that can add snow to the stages of the Rally Italia giving an air that was that of MonteCarlo. And I ask, not because of the narrowness of the roads, or because of the mod of adding snow to the rally, but about how the Monte Carlo Rally would be without snow.

The link to the video has nothing to do with the issue of car skins. What I come to say is that, in this video there are three parts that you can see the Rally Italia bathed in snow as if it were the Rally of Monte Carlo. The parts where they can be seen are the following: 1:18; 5:07; 9:07.

This car, unlike all the others, is the only car to have a cabin with a digital display. If you are driving with the unit of measurement in Km / h from the cabin camera (Only in the normal edition), and you change it to MPH, oddly enough ... It also changes the unit of measurement on the screen from the cabin camera.

This car's in-game top speed is 222mph, making it the second fastest car in the game after the McLaren F1. I'm not sure what the actual top speed of the real car was, all I can find are lofty estimates.

According to Ultimatespecs.com, this car's top speed (in KM / H) is 378. However, if I convert it to MPH, the top speed raises it even higher: 234 MPH.

Need for Speed II (1997)
In this car, although in the game it can reach 300 km / h, the speedometer of the interior camera has a problem: that it only reaches up to 240 km / h. And from 240 to 260 KM / H, the needle will keep moving until it reaches a point where the needle will not be able to move beyond 260 KM / H.

Need for Speed II (1997)

Ford Mustang Mach III

Need for Speed II (1997)
This car has a transmission problem. Specifically, between the third and fifth gear. What do I mean? What if I change gear up RPM's from third to fourth ... It jumps to fifth gear. That means that if I change from third to fourth at normal revolutions, the moment I change gear ... it stays at the same RPM's that I have since changed. To give you an idea, if I go with this car at 3500RPM in third, the moment I put fourth ... It is in the same range: at 3500RPM.

Although in the PS2 version there is a single mission that can show the inside of a Ferrari, in the versions for Xbox, Windows and Gamecube, if you put the bumper camera, oddly enough, they recreate the needles as if outside the interior of the vehicle in real life.
Of course, there is a catch: The speedometer numbers depend on the unit of measurement you have set. For example, with the Porsche 911 with the speedometer measured in Km / h, the speedometer measures it from 100 to 100. However, if I put it to MPH, the numbers go from 40 to 40.

So on top of that, the removed Brickade from the game was based on Prosegur's armored van? It seems unbelievable, but at the time RealCarter said about whether it was an RG-12 "Nyala" as a base, the front end looked pretty close. But on top of that it was based on a Prosegur armored van ... Things change radically, not only in the sense of the front, but also in the sense of the silhouette of the vehicle. Without a doubt, this armored van looks quite a lot in my country. Of course, it is only seen on a few occasions. There is even a version that works on LPG.
This could be nominated as vehicle of the year, since to date there was not a Prosegur vehicle ... Until now.
What I don't really know is if this van was sold in Latin American countries.

In the audio of the description of the car it says that it equips a Mercedes engine. But I have the feeling that there is something more than the engine: the design of the dashboard is identical to that used by Mercedes. And I say this by the small strip that is in the number 50 of the speedometer.
