Burn Rubber is right, R* has sacrificed realism and attention to detail for quick cash grabs. R* didn't even put turn indicators or reverse lights on the Nightshade. Some of the cars don't even have badging, turn indicators, or just recycle the same interior over and over again. Other cars are out of proportion and look like something a five year old scribbled onto paper. (Cheetah, Exemplar, Huntley S, Zentorno, etc). Look at the cars from GTA IV, even with 2005/6 hardware the standard of quality of the cars is much higher. R* is just a shadow of its former self.
Don't change the car but the front resembles the Honda Ascot Innova, a car you would never see in 2008 NYC.

Yeah, R* really dropped the ball with GTA V.

It was in a previous scene undamaged but it was kind of blurry. In my opinion there is no excuse for not having a car from IV into V. The HD interiors are all rendered from IV cars and the damage/plate mapping is simple. Any car ported from IV would be better than the abominations R* churns out for DLC here. Did you see the proportions on the Nightshade and Mamba? -- Last edit: 2015-12-15 21:22:50
This is the Merit from GTA IV.
What a waste of disk space, we already have 2 Ballers(an uncreative name in itself) which are only noted for being a quick sell at LSC. Why don't you add the Huntley or something that isn't a minor face-lift of an existing car.
Clarkson was thinking with a parents mindset. Cheap on insurance and safe for quarter-century old car standards.
Yeah, in my opinion it's one of the greatest automotive mysteries. Its sale page was taken down minutes after it was posted and the MC8 has disappeared again. Here's some links that you might like. www.banovsky.com/archive/sard-mc8-r www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/198/164135.html
What a creative name. | ||
Looking back it's not really an MC8, but more of a W20. It's the homoglation model for a widebody MR2 Toyota entered in Le Mans, only one was produced and most thought it was crushed twenty years ago until it showed up in a private collection earlier this year. One of the few feel-good automotive stories this year. -- Last edit: 2015-12-14 03:03:43

Please don't link to jalopnik next time, just post a picture of the car. Their pseudojournalism doesn't deserve web traffic money.
It's a Dodge Shadow. Look at it, It looks NOTHING like a Ford EXP, the EXP has the "bubble-back" rear windshield while the Manana does not. Also, wouldn't a Dodge Shadow make more sense than an EXP as the direct successor to an Aries?
