Definitely a facelifted Ford Ka (1999)
The correct name for the coupe is Morgan AeroMax. -- Last edit: 2014-05-27 20:36:30
Lombax wrote It doesn't make sense for this to be an Aston. I still say Ferrari California but more specifically the 2015 model www.netcarshow.com/ferrari/2015-california_t/ I'd like to say that I agree, but the first screenshots of the Grotti Carbonizzare were released in 2012 (check the dates of the first posts in this thread). It would be very unlikely for Rockstar to have access to images of the 2015 California at such an early date. -- Last edit: 2014-05-27 03:02:36
I see these quite often when I spawn as Trevor from his club after completing the game. It seems that this is randomly selected instead of cars like the Phoenix or Penumbra.

Did leoz just get hacked while he was online? Also, has anybody noticed that his name became lower-case after the hack? Before that, the "L" was capital. -- Last edit: 2014-05-20 21:59:45
I think they should be added for the sake of completeness, since the game itself considers them separate. Unless there's a technical reason (like limited server space), I don't see why we can't list them this way.
Never thought I'd see this in a racing game. Does it roll like the real ones do? -- Last edit: 2014-05-18 22:28:11
I did look at the image, in fact I was the one who uploaded it. From in game, they were very similar, but there were subtle differences like the bumper which indicate a slightly different model. -- Last edit: 2014-05-18 13:54:32
It's not. As valera posted, this is a Toyota Camry reused from Max Payne 3.
I saw both of these at the Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum, which is definitely worth checking out if you're near Stuttgart. There's some really good stuff there: i.imgur.com/NR6EEni.jpg -- Last edit: 2014-05-18 01:05:52

Love this car - can't believe this is the first time its been in a game! I actually spotted one of these on my recent trip to Germany - i.imgur.com/fEN1Okn.jpg
BMW themselves have never actually claimed this car has anything to so with the 2 Series, so I doubt it would have the same chassis code. Still, I wish this had been a little more like the original supercar concept, rather than this fairly unremarkable touring car which supposedly has cues from the classic 3.0 CSL.
It's not playable. Like the roadcruiser, it's only seen as a prop in the prologue.

Another shot (not mine): As you can see, it looks nothing like a MT-LB (or any other real tank): military-vehicle-photos.com.s3.amazonaws.com/3912.jpg -- Last edit: 2014-05-14 15:15:04
idk wrote martin07 at his finest His suggestion wasn't even particularly ridiculous. Maybe this is literally vw at his finest (I'm not being ironic). Anyway, this is definitely the Nissan Cedric Wagon.
It does have Sesto elements, but it's far too large for the Gallardo-based car that the Elemento is. This car is the size of the Aventador-based Veneno, which it also borrows styling cues from.
Holy crapola - look at those exhausts!
They are listed separately in the game.
Well maybe in future you should stop making unproductive comments telling people they're wrong and just say what you think it is in the first place? Yes, the Kadett D / Astra Mk1 is a possibility upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4a/1983_Opel_Kadett_1.3_GL_Berlina_3-dr.jpg upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/41/Vauxhall_Astra_Mk_I_Clare.jpg/800px-Vauxhall_Astra_Mk_I_Clare.jpg But, I'd say the Mazda is the closest so far (if you look at the side profile, all details are a match). -- Last edit: 2014-05-12 20:51:28
What would you suggest then? As far as I can tell, its identical to the VAZ. I suppose it could be a Mazda 323 [BD]? img.favcars.com/mazda/323/pictures_mazda_323_1980_1.jpg -- Last edit: 2014-05-12 20:43:01

Since this is the off-road military variant (notice the larger off-road tires and bumper), this is a Bedford MK. (The TK was civilian only and had a much lower ride height). -- Last edit: 2014-05-11 21:13:34

Mieguy wrote as they already created a real life model car i guess this will be the next car that is going to be released. Actually this looks like a scale clay model, which I imagine most of the Vision GT's have by now. I wouldn't get excited until somebody releases a full-size model, since that's the part which takes the longest to make. Also, I'm a little disappointed by this Vision GT - it looks like they've just made a racing version of the XR-PHEV concept - aren't these supposed to showcase the best of what each design studio can do? -- Last edit: 2014-04-29 17:57:10

I finally had a chance to check out the real car this morning, and seems to be that the make should be "Thrust" and the model is "2".

Both are really nice shots - love the one with the FT-1!
I think that because this is branded as Zirconium rather than Dinka, it should be listed as the Subaru.
I agree entirely. I think you've perfectly identified every part of the car, especially with the Volvo 850. This also explains why Rockstar created BF as the new Volkswagen - Vulcar was supposed to be Volvo.
Interesting grille - is it supposed to glow like that?
All Ford GT40 Mk I, II & III's were designed and built by Ford of Britain. Only the MK IV GT40 was created in the US. |
