It's either a Renault Espace or a Chevrolet Lumina APV/Pontiac Trans Sport; Overall it has a striking resemblance to the latter.
Looks a bit like a Mazda Millenia/Xedos 9, but I don't think there was a 2-door coupe version of it...
GMC C-Series? www.imcdb.org/vehicle_8142-GMC-C-Series.html I'm pretty sure there's a Ford truck that's pretty similar to this as well, though.
Cadillac Escalade EXT. This is just a monster truck version of the "Raven" (with a different paint job, obviously).
I'd say it's pretty close to a Holden aswell
Looks like a weird steam-punk version of a those double decker trams that you see in Blackpool, lol.
I thought it looked a bit like an Audi R8 Spyder - the front has a vague resemblance, but it could really be anything.
It's a DS 19, you can see a 3D version of it in the opening cuscene and its headlights kinda stick out from the bonnet, unlike the DS 21 which has headlights similar to virtually every car nowadays.
Yes, Ligier Ambra. | ||
If this is for the car in the middle, then it looks more like a Ford Crown Victoria - looks like a mix of different generations (mostly early '90s and late '90s).
Obviously just a wagon version of the Sakura Aquila, which is listed as both a Ford Escort and a Toyota Tercel. So until it can be decided what the Sakura Aquila is based on, then it's best to just leave this as "unknown" for now.
Why is this listed as an Escort, when the other 'Sakura Aquilas' are listed as Toyota Tercels? Doesn't make sense to me. Overall, the Sakura Aquila looks more like a Ford Escort. Nevertheless it's either one or the other; it's stupid to have cars that clearly use the same base model and have the same in-game name being listed as though they are based on different cars. This takes me back to the covertible version of the Zimos from Saints Row; it's based on a Toyota Corolla, but people thought the convertible was a Mustang, when it was cleary just a normal Zimos with the roof taken off.
Yes, looks like a 2CV cabriolet, although the real 2CV only ever had a large sunroof which could be rolled back. A 2CV Cabriolet DOES exist, however, but it was a German kitcar under the name "Hoffmann 2CV": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoffmann_2CV Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure that this car is simply BASED on a 2CV - the only reason that it's a cabrio is because that seems to be a "requirement" for kart-racing games. -- Last edit: 2010-08-12 20:53:30
Made for Game, looks very generic and seems to be a cross between an RV and a bus...
Daihatsu Hijet or Suzuki Carry would be the best names to go for IMO, as they seem to be the most common.
I'm pretty sure this has a front end similar to an older Dodge Ram Van, or maybe a Chevrolet Astro (based on it's smaller size) - definately not a Ford.
Same vehicle as this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=4090, as I mentioned in the comments section of that vehicle aswell.
Suzuki Samurai? | ||
Slightly stylised version of this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=7294&width=1440
Is the name supposed to be in French? That's what it looks like to me...
"Unknown", looks nothing like an Impreza Wagon, and as Takumi pointed out, it isn't even a wagon anyway.
Clearly a GAZ-3110 Volga: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Volga_3110_facelift.jpg
takumi wrote What about the red wagon ? Yeah, the red wagon (and the other traffic cars in this game) would be worth listing.
We shouldn't be using screenshots containing third party content on this website, regardless of how visible they are. Some people may find it misleading, and since those crown vics aren't an "offical" in-game vehicle, this image is falsely representing the game. I've said this before, but if we're going to allow screenshots like this, then what's stopping peope from listing third party downloads as "playable/downloadable"? That's actually happened recently, not sure if anyone actually cares or not, but I just thought I'd point that out.
Looks more like a Camry.
Definatley looks like a Peterbilt, or something similar, but with customised wheel-arches.
It's a T-600, the W-900 is boxier than this.
I think it's meant to be New Flyer, not just Flyer.
Unplayable -- It appears during the second car chase sequence in the game: it drives out from behind some trees, speeds along a road and then crashes and comes to a stop. Unlike the first chase sequence, you can actually exit your car (thus allowing you to get a closer look at this SUV), but the whole time you're being chased by a huge swarm of mutated bats, so you die within about 5-10 seconds of leaving your car.
Looks kinda like a second generation Toyota Previa - but this is a panel van, so I don't know.
Origin for this version of the Fusion is Germany, not the US.
Lol, the buses parked along the side of the road, the general lack of road and foot traffic, and the fog; reminds me of Silent Hill.
This appears in several other NFS games (all of which are on this webiste), and is listed as a Ford Festiva.
Yes, Cavalier/Vectra | ||
Can't believe that this wasn't in Saints Row 2 - especially given the fact that the airport was expanded and more realistic. This would have been right at home there.
The regular version of this car - the Bulldog - is listed as a Hummer H1, so it would make more sense to list this as a H1 too.
It is an unmarked car - it has lights and sirens. It usually chases after you during the Escort activity, it's apparently driven by the IRS and/or private investigators. Nevertheless, it would have been pretty nice to see regular versions of this car driving around the city (although the extensive car customisation options in SR 2 kinda makes that possible).
I think there's a beat-up version of this car aswell - been a while since I played this game.
Looks like a Vauxhall Cavalier/Opel Vectra.
Just a wagon version of this. Texture looks kinda stretched towards the rear though, so they probably just used the sedan texture on a slightly altered version of the sedan's 3D model.
Still not sure why this coninues to be listed as an Accent - especially given the fact that the only evidence supporting it is a rear view of a small hatchback with similar rear lights, whereas the Toyota Echo is, at least, the same shape as the Go! - seems pretty straight-forward to me.
This has far more in common with the Grumman LLV -- from behind it's almost identical, as are the positioning of the doors and windows. The front styling has clearly been altered though, as the LLV isn't "flat-faced". Nevertheless, this is 90% Grumman LLV.
I know it's pretty useless saying this, but it's far more likely to be a Citroen ZX (like many others have said before me). Just look at the otehr cars in the game, such as the BMW E24-based coupe or the Fiat Panda-based car - they're stylised so they only bear a vague resemblance to the real thing -- the ZX influence in this car is pretty obvious. It only looks like a Maestro because the developers made it more slylised and boxy.
Is this meant to be a garbage truck or a military truck of some kind?
If you ignore the front end, it looks kinda like a Ford Orion Mk II, but those headlights look like tehy're from a Crown Vic...
To be honest, this mostly resembles a Skoda Octavia II with a Skoda Octavia I front end. However, the side does seem to resemble a Honda Accord, albeit an older model - 2000-2001.
NABI BRT - awesome looking thing.
Toyota Voltz?: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=815&width=1680
A Lacetti also can also be seen as a traffic car during the "Midnight Touge" event.
Having played through this sequence a couple of times, I managed to get a fairly good look at this car and noticed that it has - what appears to be - an oversized, silver Cadillac emblem on the front. However, it doesn't look like any Cadillac I've ever seen, so it may just be a fictitious emblem. |
