Introduced in 1979 | ||
and to me it's more a Série 2 than a 1
The body look like a '55/'57 GM body, so it could be a Chevy Bel Air/210/150, a Pontiac Star Chief, an Oldsmobile 88/98, or a Buick Century. In all of these cars, the only I found which were available as taxi in Istambul are the '55 Chevy ( www.linternaute.com/auto/magazine/photo/le-tour-du-monde-des-taxis/entre-l-europe-et-l-asie-la-bel-air.shtml ), and the '56 one (bvw-photos.com/TURKEY/AUTOMOBILES/chevrolet_bel_air_1956_2.html ). Since this car look like the 210/Bel Air 2 door of the same level (Istanbul), this taxi could an improved version (another generation), so, even if it doesn't fit perfectly, I'd go with a '55 Chevrolet, and rather a 210 or 150 than Bel Air, because of lower chrome trims.
The front is clearly a '54 Chevrolet, but the whole body is from a '55 to '57 Chevrolet/GMC Pickup. Since the grid is chromed, i'd go with the '55 GMC, like Maltravers said (the '56 is the same than the '55)
daviddiaz21 wrote Blista from GTA V? Actually the Minivan
In game, it has a 63 kW engine, like the '34 Ford V8. But the '33 Ford only had 56 kW, so this "Smith" is a '34 Ford and not a '33 ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Model_B_(1932)#Model_18 )
To me it's a 1941, not 42 | ||
Indeed it's a 810, because it's not super charged. The black listed Cord is, hovewer, a 812, because is supercharged (due to latteral pipes under the bonnet)
yes, the Model A stopped production in 1931
Since the game takes place in the 50s, I think it's a M35: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M35_2%C2%BD_ton_cargo_truck , an built by Kaiser, not AM General which was founded in 1971
Grid seems inspired by a early Datsun Patrol: www.autowallpaper.de/Wallpaper/Nissan/datsun-nissan-patrol/patrol.htm
1937? Are you sure it's not a '38?
According to Wikipedia, Lincoln-Zephyr is the maker, and V-12 the model: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln-Zephyr#Gallery
It's not a 1960 one. More like a 1968+
It could also be a Pontiac Grand Am, it has the exact body shape (also shared with the Oldsmobile Alero): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:2005_Pontiac_Grand_Am.jpg
Well, I did some researches, and here is the top 4 for 50s/60s Ferrari (sorry for the big image). Oh and it's Delizia, not Dezilia.

| ||
Look like the bike of Final Fantasy
I agree, definitivly a Dodge Demon (Dart Demon?)
I agree, it looks more like a ML, but the front is GL
It's a sportier version of the stock Double T, so why are they classed as different bikes?
If I need to pick between the V-100 and the BRDM-2, I think i would choose the BRDM2... But that make no sense in a american-based game
no, the 4 headlights didn't exist on this car before 1968
It has "12-Valve Triple" as a badge, so it coule be a Triumph Speed Triple?
what? I just said an oppinion... these cars are imaginary, based on mixs of lots of cars, I just said it would be logic if it was a S-Klasse, even thought if the rear lights and the shape of glass on the rear doors looks from an E-Klasse...
it a really an unusual bike... I wonder if they'll make similar bikes in the next few yeard X)
Full name: Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa
The other Schafter of the game was a S-Klasse W221, so this also maybe a S-Klasse... In that case, it would be the next generation of Schafter, after the other one (W220)
carcrasher88 wrote '32 Ford would likely mean Model B, right? I guess, but since in game it's reffered as "Bolt V8", maybe it could be classed as Ford V8, but some sites simply refers it as "1932 Ford", so I don't really know...
I'd rather say the '32 Ford than the Model A...
@Tosyk your car is a 1936 Ford, but I'm sure this car is supposed to be a Prowler, but everything don't match perfectly because it's unlicensed
Victory is actually a real motorbike manufacturer... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_motorcycles
too big for a Confederate BA... I rather think a Cadillac or something like that
Without DLC, you can see it in the introduction cutscene (at 1:56 )
I found an old book about trucks in my bedroom, and actually, it could be any Kenworth truck from 1940 to 1960, not necessarily a 524
hmmm... Maybe... but in that case, I'm sure they reused some parts for each other (at least for the rearview and the bull bar)
Excepted deeper headlights and a bit shorter hood, it's exactly the same:
Tycek wrote It's not even close to them. The whole body isn't, of course. But the front is
Saleen S5S Raptor? www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=26854
It's the same than Enforcer/Securicar/Police Stockade. So, it's a Navistar International 4000
I love the Thunderbird, but this "Peyote" is near to be ugly... such a shame
Mercedes-Benz 170? | ||
Opel P4? | ||
Looks like a 1932 Ford, and if I remember well, they have been built in Germany
Traction Avant convertible?
BMW R75 for sure | ||
Type 95 or 97? | ||
Since it's a japanese ship, I assume it's an Isuzu Type 94?
I think it's a GMC rather than a Chevrolet
The body reminds me of the San Andreas Nebula, which was a eighth generation Lincoln Continental: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:A_1991_Lincoln_Continental.jpg Also, Albany had manufactured the Washington, which is a Lincoln too
mayba an old Panda, or a shorter VW Polo |
