Red Alert: A Path Beyond (2016) | NFA wrote The game has been early access since 2003, but I went with the 2016 Delta release when it changed developer and got a major overhaul. It is a free to play game made by a small indie team, runs on an old game engine, and still uses lots of outdated assets. Wait, they didn't create the assets?
I think this leans more towards a F-22 Raptor than a F-35 Lightning. The cockpit and fuselage are definitely inspired by the F-35 but the rest is more of a Raptor:
Epicstormchaser you need to shorten your unlock descriptions.
WolfLover94 wrote Well to be fair to them, you can't exactly get a genuine Ford Falcon XB here in the states. Maybe not, but they could have used a better choice for a base car. The Maverick is way too small and it's body shape is wrong. A better stand in would have been a Torino. They have a similar body shape to an XB Falcon. Heck they could have even branched out from Ford. Like an old Charger or Cutlass would have worked equally aswell. Considering you would be putting a Monza style front on it anyway.
dubcars wrote Technically it is based on a 1993 TVR Chimaera. It's license plate (L960 RWY) was visible on the show. www.imcdb.org/i259909.jpg It's a kit car. Ergo we list it as 'custom made'.

It's kinda hard to see but this is actually 1 of two real life replicas of the Magnum Opus made as promotion for the game. One (the west coast customs build) was made out of a Maverick and was painted chrome to resemble the Wild Hunt opus you see on all the promotional material. This one, built off a Mustang was the prize of a competition from before the release of the game. I can find no information on who built it, or who won it. Just that it existed. Also in terms of accuracy. This car is way closer to the ingame depiction of the Shovelface. Compared to the West Coast Customs Magnum Opus which kinda looks like the Wild Hunt version of the car. -- Last edit: 2023-01-05 05:51:26
You know your replacement pics could be cropped a bit better Greaser: Your submitted pic: vs cropped a bit better to remove some of the dead space: Especially when the original image exceeds the site limitation for image size, cropping can be useful to help keep the subject of the picture clear. -- Last edit: 2023-01-05 02:25:05
IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023) | Things like blur effects are up to the contributor's discretion. Some people prefer them, others don't. In regards to entry pictures, we tend to prefer images that are more focused on the target vehicle than ones that feature lots of dead space. For what you are referring to Greaser, sometimes replacement images go unnoticed and don't get changed immediately, it happens. As some on the discord can attest to. -- Last edit: 2023-01-05 02:20:02
IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023) | NFA wrote Well, I tried to add it and it got deleted... or did I take too long to add any vehicles? We have a rule. If no entries get added to a game within an hour of the game being submitted, the game gets removed.
IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023) | NFA wrote Started as a mod and later became a standalone game Ok, that's fine.

IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023) | NFA wrote Red Alert: A Path Beyond is a fan-made game built on the engine of Command & Conquer: Renegade, and has plenty of recognizable vehicles Is it a fan-made game like Dayz was to Arma or like a seperate entity that does not require the original game to work? -- Last edit: 2023-01-04 00:13:11
IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023) | NFA wrote Questions 1. Why have some flash games such as Need for Madness been deleted? 2. Does the site allow listing freeware & standalone games or mods of existing games? We have special rules for flash games. If you can find a specific game, it's because it doesn't meet the rule requirements. Mobile games also have special rules. You are going to need to be more specific for "freeware & standalone" games. Can you provide examples? Finally Mods are not allowed and are out of the question.

Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) | StigBelcher wrote There are powered and non-powered gliders, there is almost every kind of transportation device accept the gliders. As for the amphibious Aircraft, there is = Cessna L-19 Bird Dog, Daher Kodiak 100 Amphibian, De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, Dornier Do J Wal, Grumman Goose's, Hughes H-4 Hercules, Icon Aircraft A5, Polaris Flying Inflatable Boat and Savoia-Marchetti S.55/S.56 . That's all from Flight Sim 2020. Ok, so you just meant planes that can land in water. Yes we allow them, same goes for helicopters that can land in water. As for the gliders, only those powered by an engine is allowed. See: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=285951 But those without, are not permitted.
Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) | StigBelcher wrote Is there any plans to add an amphibious aircraft or Glider category to IGCD? Could you give an example of an amphibious aircraft. Gliders will not be added, it was discussed.
This is an easter egg vehicle. Based off Cranky Frank, it can't be stored, is found in an unmarked secret location on the edge of the map and it's spawn isn't even consistent. It only ever appears in that one location unlike other un-storable vehicles.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator (2017) | WolfLover94 wrote Someone did add Security Breach, but it was deleted soon after. That was because it's only entry image was from a youtube video. We don't allow that. Since otherwise it had no other entries it was removed after an hour.
Vxctec wrote I almost had a stroke reading this, what the hell dude? Listen, licensing usually takes a lot of money, and what if the company itself doesn’t prefer to include it? It isn’t the game’s fault. We are getting tired of you posting the same message with every vehicle here. If you want to complain, then go to EA’s site and talk about this, not here, ok? We are already aware, we are not blind. Dude, chill.

IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023) | Vxctec wrote Hello. There is a minor complaint I would like to make about the search system. Sometimes if I search up a specific car model and it’s year, for example “2009 Ford Edge”, then it says that there are no results, even though the exact model is in video games included on this site. I am kindly asking whether or not you could fix this bug. Thanks. It's not a bug. You can't search by year.
A bit of a mix of an Escalade and a Lincoln Navigator.
mcthieve wrote Finally, some good fucking food. Also, are you sure it's a '81 model? It looks much closer to a 1978/1980 model. Not 100% on it being a 1981. I originally had the field blank but just threw in the year because I saw a comment claiming that's the year it's based off.
NFA wrote But Jet Skis don't normally go underwater? Yes, it is a video game however and usually we list the vehicles per their design over how the vehicle behaves within the game itself. So while it is underwater it is still obviously a Jet Ski of some kind. The developers even humorously gave the ride a scuba suit.
This is pretty clearly a Jet Ski...
Looks like a Hovercraft.
Treasures of the Deep (1997) | NFA wrote One of the levels has the surname of a famous Austrian dude in it. Is that problematic? Oh you mean the big man? Well if that's how it's listed in the game than just it as so. We have Nazi vehicles listed on the site, it's just how things are.
Front looks like a Chrysler Valiant Charger, the rear an AMC Javelin.
Treasures of the Deep (1997) | NFA wrote Very nice that the site now includes aircraft and watercraft too Please make sure to include unlock information. As for the levels, if it lacks a game map, an image of the level select or just a screenshot within a level is suitable.
IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023) | Vxctec wrote Hello. Just like to say that I’ve been trying to upload a profile picture on my account for so long and it keeps saying “No picture was uploaded” even though it’s a JPEG image with more than 98 KB. Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Victor_2003 wrote Is that an anime or random art? It's a custom image I made. The background comes from a screenshot I took in the Mad Max game. The foreground anime girl is from a pic I found on Pixiv. The character is 'Vegapunk Lilith' from One Piece.
Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | WolfLover94 wrote Your avatar is kinda sexy....being honest here. Uh....domo arigato.
Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Antonio Vision wrote Hello, guys. I just signed up yesterday and did some support to Godfather 1991 with a vehicle. Anyway, I dunno if I have to question this but I'll dare, and it's for the staff of this site (though I dunno if this is the right place, so excuse me if not). I'm wondering, why are you naming ORIGINAL or PURELY FICTIONAL vehicles, like from GTA or Mafia, after their supposedly "real counterparts?" With the due respect, even if they look way like real-world models, I just don't really think they should be named after them. At least for me, it just makes no sense at all, since they're originals (as in GTA, inspired by or directly based on real-world's, but that's just it). These one should actually be called "Made for game..." as you did with some others. Now, with the de-licensed or rebadged ones, taken from real world, is another story, because they're actually real-world's but just with no trace of real-world branding, so there it would count. You may have your reasons and who am I to judge, so this is just a point of view. I can guess you do it to help people find references, but I dunno... You answered your own question. Because they are based off real vehicles we list them as so. We're not the only site to do this. IMFDB does the same for guns, most fandom wikis will list what the real world inspiration for vehicles are and even IMPDB does the same for aircraft. Anyway this is how the site has been for the past 16 years. So, it's not changing any time soon.
This isn't an LFA nor is it a Supra. It's a generic model that doesn't resemble anything specific.

Dat Gurl a few things. 1. The 'I' after Viper isn't necessary. That goes into the mark field. 2. Chassis means the internal chassis code of the car not what kind of car it is. 3. the acr package wasn't introduced till the second gen of vier.

Tilt rotor aircraft like the Osprey are considered VTOLs.
Flippedoutkyrii wrote https://sta.sh/01ogsx4duqvu sta.sh/0xos394e8an Alright, much closer screen caps with less dead air. Typically we want entry images to be more rectangular in shape to better fit the site profile. But however I think you should get new pics altogether, the angle you've taken that front pic isn't the best. Especially since with a free camera you have more freedom than other games to get a good spot for an entry pic. For instance, I've been doing Transformers: the game, and it has a debug free camera I've been using to get the entry pics. However it's incredibly janky to use, but despite that I've been able to get pretty good entry pics, because I pull back the camera and try to take the picture from a solid 3/4 view of the vehicle. Which is more achievable with free cameras compared to some games. So for instance this is the raw image I took in game: And this is the entry image I got from it by cropping out the hud and other unnecessary details: See what I mean? You can get great results by doing this. -- Last edit: 2022-12-12 02:57:46 |
