I can't believe a debate has actually began here, especially when J-2 provided undeniable proof that it's a Landstalker (which is based on an Expedition), although it seems people are choosing to ignore it.

Reminds of the debate in the past on another website/forum where people thought GTA III's Liberty City and GTA IV's Liberty City were the same place in the same timeline. Okay, maybe not that extreme, but still.

WHAT!? i am not ignoring J-2's posts! Everytime he was posting something i was referring to it. Once i even quoted him!

If you are talking about this ferrari thing... i dont get his point. Maybe he means, if you drive the landstalker, it feels like the Expedition. Okay, i agree with that. Its overall design might give the thinking, this is an Expedition.

And to referr to J-2's last posting, which i also DONT Ignore!
The Trafic has a very unique shape, and i mean VERY unique. You can tell that by the side windows. But in the landstalker-case even the side windows dont match with expedition. C-pillar is colored on expedition.

EDIT: Now i start to understand what you want to tell me... I never said "This is not a Landstalker". Show me ONE quote where i said this is not a landstalker! I didnt even think of it. It is 100 % the GTA IV Landstalker.

I now stop this debate, because this is ridicolous. You dont want to have 3 Range Rover-based cars on one game, i understand that. But please, STOP repeating "this is the same like in GTA IV". It pisses me off. I stop saying its a range rover, you stop saying its the same as GTA IV, OKAY!? i NEVER SAID ANYTHING LIKE "THIS IS NOT A LANDSTALKER"!!!

btw, Range Rover is also available with roof rails, just to tumble down that Expedition similarity... www.expeditionexchange.com/safetydevices/rr3.jpg

I hope you mean "Land Rover". The words stalker and rover are more familiar as they are both a synonym for someone going after something (in first case "literally")
Ford Expedition

Grand Theft Auto V (2013)
after looking at this collage i still stay on my opinion. The only similarity with the Ford is the roof rail and the length of the wheelbase.

Similarities to Range Rover: front grille (-> also in relation with its composed position to the headlights)
Similarities to Range Rover Sport: Rear lights

So the bigger and more important similarities are head lights, grille and rear lights. Thats my opinion on this topic, but look how this was handled with other car on IGCD. We had always listed cars after its head or rear lights, not after criterias like Roof rail or Wheelbase!!

Ford Expedition

Grand Theft Auto V (2013)
Your picture of the Huntley Sport proves it even more that the Landstalker is a Range Rover. And you see, Land Rover sounds similar to Land Stalker!

and to add, maybe you missunderstood me. I know, that the GTA V Landstalker is the same as the GTA IV Landstalker. But i mean, the GTA IV Landstalker is also a Range Rover and NOT an Expedition

they obviously even used a photo of a Range Rover rear light for the GTA IV rear light. Look at the similarities in the rear lights inside!

Ford Expedition

Grand Theft Auto V (2013)
I just noticed an interesting thing. Look at the rear lights. The Expedition has square rear lights, the RR sport not. The Landstalker also hasnt the same. I made this picture to explain what i mean. I am talking about the green line.

For me its clearly not an Expedition. The view of the landstalker rear lights is not accurate, it looks square in my comparison. So its better to compare it with the main picture. You will see what i mean.

also look at the field for the number plate, or the chrome on the trunk door. Definetely Range Rover.

oh and btw, stop with this "its the same like in GTA IV so its an Expedition". The GTA IV car is also a Range Rover...

Chevrolet Caprice

Ridge Racer: Unbounded (2012)
it's no Country Squire. From every car we had posted here, the Country Squire is the farest away. And you know why? Because the Ford has a shorter rear wood panel that is NOT touching the rear lights. Also i can see that the rear window of the game car is not completely vertical, on the Ford it is vertical.

Btw, i would also say no Kingswood. On Kingswood the rear has more white colour.
