The grille, headlights and the turn signals located within the front bumper appear to be derived from the 1975 - 1978 Cadillac Eldorado.  Lincoln Continental Saints Row 2 (2008) | This definitely looks to be based on a 1977 Lincoln Continental sedan, in my opinion. The boxy, slab-sided body, the trim along the sides of the body and rocker panels, the fender skirts, the Rolls-Royce grille, the turn signals which stick out from the rest of the body (and the little horizontal chrome strips running the width of them)... Taking these design features into account, it looks very much like a '70s Lincoln to me. autothing.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/1977-lincoln-continental-sedan.jpg c1.staticflickr.com/7/6047/6325882398_f0fbf99e23_b.jpg The only major differences between the Churchill and the '77 Continental that I can see are the Churchill's lack of hidden headlights, a vinyl top and its possession of a rather small C-pillar. Inadequately sized for housing opera windows, that's for sure. Another little thing I noticed is that the rear wheels of the Churchill seem to be positioned a bit too far back compared to a lot of American sedans from back in the day. They're placed far behind the rear doors to the point where the shape of the doors is uninterrupted by the wheel arches, almost as if the car was riding on a limousine wheelbase. This factor combined with the tiny C-pillars always made the car's proportions look a bit strange to my eyes. Still, definitely one of my personal favorite cars from the Saints Row series. | |

We can see that the taillights of the featured vehicle appear to be turned on, and only the top halves of the lights are lit up (unless I'm seeing that incorrectly). The country squire also has a very different roofline from this, with a thicker C pillar, a much thinner C pillar, and a rounded roof end above the hatch rather than the crease seen here. The wood paneling is very different and this car has obvious tail fins while the Ford does not. I don't know what this is but it's not a mid seventies Country Squire. I agree. It doesn't look like a '70s wagon, but given that this is the Mafia series we're talking about, I wouldn't put it past them to shoehorn a bunch of cars that are too new for 1968 into the game. Mafia II seemingly forgot that the latest year it took place in was 1951 and featured vehicles and songs as new as 1957. I, myself, think that the Marbelle generally looks to be based on the Granada over the Versailles due to its lack of vinyl top, lack of the Lincoln Mark series grille, and the addition of the little vents on either ends of the headlights, a Granada-inspired feature. The only things it takes directly from the Versailles are the rectangular quad headlights, as far as I can tell. | |

Lincoln Versailles Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) | Definitely a 1970s Ford Granada with the headlights of a Versailles (combined with the little vents on either end of the headlights which were seen on the 1975 - 1977 Granadas) and the taillights of a 1980 - 1984 Lincoln Town Car. A nice little collage of malaise era Ford products, and a more understated choice of motoring compared to a full-fledged luxury car like the Emperor. A classy entry-level luxury sedan fit for leisurely cruises. Such a shame it didn't reappear in GTA V. I'd love to see it return in the future. Hopefully it'll make another appearance in GTA VI or whatever the next installment in the franchise will be called. There are many cars from GTA IV I miss, and this one is particularly high on the list. | |

 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Luxury The Simpsons: Hit & Run (2003) | I'm not really seeing a whole lot of similarities between this car and the Bonneville, aside from the boxy design. I feel as though when they were designing Moe's car, they were going for "basic, nondescript beater from the malaise era." To go into further detail, the grille and front bumper are both rather generic. However, the quad headlights with the turn signals that flank the sides and undersides of the headlights are quite similar to the late '70s Olds Ninety-Eight. Furthermore, with those thin, vertical taillights, the rear of Moe's sedan is nearly identical to the rear of the 1980 - 1984 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight, the only discrepancy being the reverse lights. www.history-of-cars.com/images/oldsmobile/1980-98-regency-4door-sedan-016.jpg To add to that, the late '70s models had a similar taillight cluster as well.  Suncrest M-2400 Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Am I the only one scratching my head wondering why the Zirconium brand even exists? It just seems like the most pointless car company in the game. I mean, they only made one vehicle in GTA IV (the Stratum) which easily could have been made by Annis or Dinka, and now the only other vehicle they make in GTA V is this, which could've been a Brute model or something... The only vehicles coming off a company's assembly line are a Japanese station wagon and an American RV? It just seems off. Not to mention the Zirconium building in GTA IV (based on the Chrysler building), which should have been called the Schyster building, to be perfectly accurate. | |

The Auburn is much more known than the Meteor, So devs probably based it from Auburn While the bumpers, lights and other fixtures like that appear to mimic the Auburn, the overall shape of the body looks more like the Meteor to me. - Look at how far the bodywork alongside the cabin swoops down, which is very reminiscent of the Meteor. - The Pimpster and Meteor both feature an exhaust pipe that runs along the right side of the car, ending just above the back right fender. - The front fenders of the Auburn flow smoothly down to the bumper, whereas the Pimpster and Meteor's front fenders abruptly change angle, slightly wrapping around the front wheels, and go straight downward. - I'm just noticing this now, look at how the turn signals of the Pimpster protrude out of the chrome trim on the front fenders, which looks to be directly inspired from the Meteor. The Auburn on the other hand, lacks trim pieces and turn signals on its front fenders. There are probably more things I'm missing, but I'm just throwing my observations out there. | |

The aforementioned beige Willard owned by Dardan Petrela can be obtained in the mission "Bleed Out". After Roman is beat up by some loan sharks and Niko rushes to his aid, Dardan is seen entering his Willard and proceeds to flee the scene. After a chase sequence, he abandons his car at the Twitchin's Sugar Factory in BOABO, where the player follows him up some stairs and into a room where he is killed. You may then enter either Dardan's car or Roman's taxi and use the car you're driving to push the other car down to Roman's cab depot and finish the mission. It's a bit of a pain getting the two cars out of East Hook simultaneously, but it's worth it for a car this rare. I've used this method to get my hands on Dardan's beige Willard a number of times in the past. There's also another green Willard you can obtain later on in the game, presumably owned by Derrick McReary, from failing the mission "Babysitting" at pretty much any point, if I recall correctly. | |
Auburn 851 Speedster FlatOut 2 (2006) | Auburn Speedster? I don't know, looks more like a Mormon Meteor to me. The developers probably just added extra lights, bumpers and a funky grille design to make it look a bit more like a generic '30s car. |
