I don't speak Spanish, but thinking about it, it really doesn't sound right... "Respuesta" means response as in answer, right?

That's the main meaning yes, and it can, in the right way, be used here, since it also means response, as in response to a fire for example, a better name would be "Respuesta Rápida", meaning "Quick Response". It's still not any official name of any police force or group in Spain, but at least sounds better...or just "Interceptación" or "Intercepción", which is even more simple.

True!

The Bentley Turbo R, the Jag I-Pace and the LR Velar.

Fast & Furious: Crossroads (2020)
'Respuesta de persecución'

They just translated Pursuit Response literally into spanish. And of course, we would never use those words, in fact, we do not use interceptors at all. One of the sportiest cars in Spain's fleet are a couple of Mégane 3 RS, and they are mostly used as a showcase...

0.20 is out, featuring the restyling of the Gavril Roamer. Looks like they added a first gen Escalade into the mix now...

Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
Well...weak update this time. At least HSV is getting some love back after being shaved after Horizon 3.
Lancia Delta

Forza Motorsport (2023)
The obvious guess is a Lancia Delta Integrale, but some details don't match, probably due to the lack of focus...

Forza Motorsport (2023)
I added it as 2020 for now, but I'm certain it's going straight into 2021, since it's still in 'early development'.

And BTW, we definitely need a Xbox Series X and PS5 tags as well...

Forza Motorsport (2023)
It looks like they went for a full reboot this time...

Yes, I wasn't sure about taxis, that's why I only changed the PI ones, so even better, those will be changed as well.
Ford Crown Victoria

Forza Horizon 3 (2016)
Who changed this (and all 2010-2011 CV's) to P71?

I think I was clear enough:

Ford Crown Victoria P71 (1998–2009)
Ford Crown Victoria P7B (2010–2011)

As many sources as you can get if you search about it. Yes, it's weird to change the code for the final 2 years after a 11 year run, but that's how it works.

BeamNG.drive (2013)
The last hotfix finally added rear name badging to the Vivace and Tograc, just in case you want to redo the rear shot and keep it up to date.

Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
You can indeed paint the trim with the livery editor in a really easy way, since the car has two main painting zones, the body itself and the trim, you only need to select the trim, choose a color, and done.

BeamNG.drive (2013)
I think after all this years around I have an idea of what IGCD is about...

And I do mind cluttering the page. Again, we do NOT need to list every single trim and variant in the game, the EV versions are just trims, and the drivetrain may be different, but that's not how it works, listing all the current D-Series years and bodies is enough for example, the idea is to find a car that can represent as many trims as possible of a given car, since that's also how the game works, in most games, like GT, a different version of a car is a totally separate vehicle with its own model, but in here there is normally a common chassis, in which different parts are applied, so again, out of the many ways to solve that puzzle, the goal is to aim to the lowest number for clarity. If each car had...2 trims or so, OK, but some cars, like the new Cherrier FCV cars have dozens, so one entry per car is definitely not enough, but 25 is too much as well (that's also why when I started this page, I always selected a middle trim, not too low, not too high).

I would even approve listing the different body years (not trims) for the Piccolina and Moonhawk since they are well, different years, just like the D-Series (with the D-Series being more special due to having even different chassis between variants, that's why I would even add the long wheelbase H-Series as well), but if we start going after trims it's going to be a mess, and we want to simplify things, this is IGCD, a encyclopedia for games indeed, but in this case is not the BeamNG.drive Car Wiki as well.

In any case, Rinspeed is still who can give his final word on this, personally, hey, I would add all trims because I like to list things as much as possible, but I'm just trying to find a balance here.

BeamNG.drive (2013)
I think it would be better if we stick to big differences, like different bodytypes, restylings...racing versions, cop cars and so (the H-Series Ambulance was purpose built with a custom package so it's an exception for example) mainly involve a livery and some parts swapped or deleted, and if we go that way, we are going to clutter the page.

The overall look is almost the same as a Seat 1430, but I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

I'd figured out to resurrect J-2's "very" old magic back on these pics and put it together myself, I've tried my best to get close enough to look like J-2's shots in this game, well, looks like I've officially found the way to get J-2's magic of photoshooting back.

@J-2, tell me if you like my attempt to bring your old magic back for this game?

Flawless job, congrats!

I'm glad my style is still being kept and appreciated, I honestly think (totally biased opinion of course...) is what work best for most cases after years of testing, and it's quite easy to replicate, it's always mainly a closeup with the height leveled with the car alone (other cars in the scene can be distracting), both front and rear at 45º so a bit of the side is always seen, and being careful with the lighting so it doesn't look too bright or too dark in both the front/back and side.

Of course I always encourage creativity, but in games like Forza or GT for example, where you have to do lots of cars, and since the goal is list cars, the main focus should always be making sure the car is well seen, since again, listing is what this web is for, without wasting space in the pic, and trying to keep consistency (which is great to compare differences between games), when I started Forza Motorsport 2 I used to be way more wild, but I think this is the right balance, since you can still do plenty of things to make them a bit different and fun (different backgrounds, doing the angled shot both from the left and the right rotating the camera a bit, being in a straight line, on a corner, drifting, braking, different body colors, maybe turning on the headlights...)

Made for Game SUV

BeamNG.drive (2013)
Just to make things more confusing, here is the SUV version of the Vivace. The interior is definitely inspired by the i-Cockpit Peugeots, with the gauge cluster above the steering, but again, the exterior is a mix of so many things, both real and fictional, that I think M4G is the way to go with those two...
Lincoln Town Car

Sharpshooter 3D (2018)
I would list this as a Town Car, since the sides are way bigger than the front and rear. It would be weird saying this is a DTS with main Lincoln body and Lada rear...

Rear is also known at this point with further pics in the official website. In certain trims it looks like the new 208.

Let the debate begin...a mixbag of many french cars, including Peugeot and Citroën. I would say Peugeot 308 as a base, but again, it's a bit too generic.
Ford Transit Supervan 3

Forza Horizon 4 (2018)

Ford Transit Supervan 3

Forza Horizon 4 (2018)
Perfect chance to remind people how gens go, since I just checked and it's a mess again to be fixed...

First generation (1965–1986)
Facelift (1977–1986)
Second generation (1986–2000)
Pre-facelift (1986–1995)
Facelift (1995–2003)
Third generation (2000–2014)
Pre-facelift (2000–2006)
Facelift (2006–2014)
5 Fourth generation (2013–present)

The Supervan 3 is thus a 2nd gen. The SuperSportVan already in the game is a 3rd gen, and the one being sold now is a 4th, please have that in mind, since 2nd and 3rd gens are being mixed like crazy.

Design error? Don't overthink it that much. They are doing what BMW did back on the day with the 2002 Turbo, it's done on purpose so when the car is behind you and you look at the rear view mirror, it will read what the car is correctly, just like an ambulance.
