Burn Rubber wrote I get that it's like, supposed to be California and LA, But not everyone in LA owns a Pagani Hyuayra or Lamborghini Sesto Elementos! They own cars like in GTA IV. They aren't special cause they live in LA! That's because GTA IV was intended to be more realistic than previous GTA games. There is no minigun or flame thrower in GTA IV, there is no military during 6 stars chase, no tanks on the streets or missions like "steal a jetpack from military base". Rockstar realized that players wants more badass gameplay in the future so in GTA V we have gameplay similar to GTA San Andreas. GTA V was also designed for casual console players. That's why driving model is no more challenging or realistic like it was in IV, and vehicles are really hard to damage. You can even flip your car back on the wheels or tilt it mid air to land perfectly on the ground. It sucks in my opinion. I really enjoyed driving in GTA IV where slamming on the brakes resulted in locked front wheels and no ability to steer because majority of the cars didn't had ABS. Looks like newest GTA was released for kids who can't play without driving Pagani or Ferrari. -- Last edit: 2016-01-10 21:00:52
WarLord wrote 682В on cyrillic transcription and 682V on latin transcription Well... There is no mistake here. This trolleybus is a 1974 682B (682Б in cyrillic) judging by the turn indicators and wheel arches. Just take a look on Wikipedia. English page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZiU-9 and Russian page: ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%97%D0%B8%D0%A3-9 So it's not a mistake. -- Last edit: 2016-01-10 21:27:49
I would still say it looks like T-72. Some unlicensed vehicles on that page are also a mesh of few real life cars but they're listed as normal. We identify vehicles by their overall look anyway. If not, we can search for a prototype or concept tank that looks like this.
jackmap wrote Honda Civic? That was my first guess but rear doesn't match Civic (if I remember correctly). I will try to upload a screenshot from the other side today. Maybe it will help to identify this vehicle. But so far Civic IV is the best idea.
ZoomZoom wrote 2000 Piaggio Porter Based on Daihatsu Hijet... That was close. Another identified car.
WarLord wrote Mercedes Benz Axor 1829 A 4x4 upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/53/Mercedes_Benz_Axor_1829_A_4x4_Bundeswehr.jpg Judging by the headlights it's military version of Actros Mp2: www.trucksplanet.com/photo/mercedes/actros_mp2_military/actros_mp2_military_12327.jpg However both trucks are very similar. And by the way it's probably a 6x6 version but it was hard to get clear screenshot in a middle of intense tank battle. There is no 6x6 configuration of Axor so far.
It looks NOTHING like LAV-300. it's shortened BTR-70 or BTR-80 and should be listed as one.
JFK wrote You are welcome Since I watch Top Gear a lot, I noticed the shape of C-pillar identical to Dolomite that Richard Hammond used in one episode www.imcdb.org/vehicle_140670-Triumph-Dolomite-Sprint-1974.html Well... I've watched this challenge on YouTube few months ago but didn't recognize the car.
Looks like a japanese compact truck from late 80's/early 90's but I can't tell anything more about this vehicle. Probably too big for a kei truck. Should be listed as a pick-up or something else?
Object is not a manufacturer pal!
JFK wrote I am pretty sure that this is Triumph Dolomite So maybe it's not a carbon copy but still looks very close to Dolomite. Never heard of that car before so identification was very tricky for me. Thanks.
WarLord wrote Kamaz-43118-24AVR or another name AC-6-40 Looks like it is. I'm very impressed. The problem with russian trucks is, they are named only with digits so it can be a Kamaz/Zil/Ural 25156, 236772 or 158517554. Anyway, good job.
Looks like a Fiat of some sort or something from eastern block. My closest find is Fiat 124 so far. It's probably a carbon copy of real life car like other non-playable vehicles so identification should be easy.
vehicleguru wrote Perfect match.
JFK wrote Well, on wiki page, rught under main pic: V-150 Commando - So I dont know, both variants might be correct. I just pointed out that the "Commando" is after V-100 or V-150. Also on imcdb.com those vehicles are listed as Cadillac-Gage. I'm completely confused right now.
JFK wrote Fine, I will fix them all to "Cadillac Gage" EDIT: Done, now is time to fix multiple names for same cars (sometime Commando V-100, sometime vice versa, sometime without dash...) Thanks for cleaning this mess. Again, if Wikipedia is correctly, the proper name is V-100 Commando. You can check it by yourself: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadillac_Gage_Commando
JFK wrote Only one car is listed as Cadillac Gage, but all others are Cadillac-Gages Wikipedia says it's "Cadillac Gage" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Textron_Marine_%26_Land_Systems We can list every vehicle as Cadillac-Gage but it seems to be wrong. Your choice.
As far as I remember we can store this vehicle without failing the mission. Just destroy the wall, drive to the garage, store it and continue the mission. But I can be wrong. Have not played this game for ages. Also the name is Cadillac Gage (with space) and the model is V-100 Commando.
Freightliner Coronado. Pre-facelift model.
Looks like cartoonized Range Rover I. Is rear visible in game?
it's a fictional tank made by Wargaming. You can find a US patent papers on the internet. Patent USD712786 if someone is curious.
robi wrote Soviet GAZ SU-76 What? It's inspired by a US WWII tank. Look at the suspension. It's clearly a Sherman/Lee style suspension. I've never seen something like that before. It's safe to say that is a fictional tank made by Rockstar with influences from tanks like M5 Stuart, M4 Sherman and M10/M36 tank destroyers.
Slightly futurized and modified B1 Centauro. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/70/Centauro01.JPEG
It's Lenco BEAR not a Bearcat. Bearcat is smaller than this vehicle. www.lencoarmor.com/law-enforcement/bear-variants/ EDIT: Also the category appears to be wrong. It's not a van or MPV but more likely an military armored vehicle. Other BEAR/Bearcats are listed under various categories like SUV or even as a simple truck. What a mess... -- Last edit: 2015-12-13 20:19:40
Could be a Porshe Turbo from old Matchbox collection: www.70er-matchbox.de/m_1978_oi_porsche_turbo_gr_nr_3_matchbox.jpg
Late model with those big, plastic bumpers.
JFK wrote Fine. I am man and I admit that I couldnt win this. It is still dumb for ´47 (although fictional) show, but we can all agree that this is 1956 Checker A8. Nothing is dumb there. Checker A8 looks pretty close. Nice find.
JFK wrote Because in GTA universe they were that kind of advanced they invented design 1960s in 1940s. So it is entirely possible that Zirconnium Stratum is also car that will be revealed as a new 2016 Nissan GT-R Wagon. You know what: HVY Cutter is a real vehicle. From 2030, so nobody know it, but since GTA universe is 15 years ahead, it is 100% true proof. Why not! Read my and Tuppence's comment again and again till you get the point. There is a lot of games or movies set in the past featuring modern vehicles like CoD: Black Ops with 2007 Jeep C8. Anyway this taxi is not a Marathon because of a single pair of headlights. With two lights on each side, it will be clear it's Marathon. -- Last edit: 2015-11-26 14:28:07 (Black Bart)
JFK wrote Remember, that show is from 1947, so before anyone shouting "its checker marathon", no its not. They werent made before 1960. Umm... Nope. It's a cartoon made for a computer game, not a show from 1947. They could put in that cartoon every vehicle made prior to a 2013 so your argument is just stupid. It can be a De Soto of some sort but this car don't even look like a taxi from '47. Checker Marathon will be a better option. Badge on the hood is very similar to Checker. I must check this cartoon in game. Maybe quality will be better.
Chevrolet C/K like this one from Battlefield: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=65705 Don't know about the year or exact model.
ZoomZoom wrote 1979 Ford Mustang Propably the best match. Front is identical and rest of the body bears strong resemblance to '79 Mustang.
chesty wrote iverco It's Iveco by the way and yeah, it slightly resembles newest Iveco Stralis Hi-Way but "Made for game" will be a better choice in my opinion. It's too "futuristic".

Tuppence870 wrote Somebody could be actively removing your comment because they feel offended by such an outlandish but well-thought out suggestion. Nobody knows who it is, but it's happened countless times before. Oh, got it. Tuppence870 wrote I wouldn't say it looks nothing like a Volvo, since all of these wagons look similar anyway, but also the slab-sidedness of the Volvo is much closer to the Ingot than the alternatives. However most of it is definitely Stagea based. Yeah, they look similar but the front of a Volvo is very different than Ingot just like rear. Also Ingot comes with unpainted B and C pillars while every Volvo 850 I've seen have them in a color of a body. The plastic door and bumper guards however are not painted as opposed to Ingot. Also C pillar is nearly straight in Volvo and the whole rear is chopped down, not angled like Ingot but this is also present in Stagea.
chesty wrote its a 92 Ford Crown Vic You are really insane or blind... or a poor troll. This car looks like Chavos from GTA IV: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=12505 The Chavos is 1996 Honda Accord so this car should be too. Maybe someone will find something better.
M-35? It looks nothing like AM General.
AM General M-35. | ||
Not this bullshit again. Ingot mostly resembles Nissan Stagea. To be exact it's 1996 Nissan Stagea [WC34], the first series of Stagea. It's not any Volvo or Volkswagen. Not a perfect clone but Stagea is closest car to Ingot. You don't belive me? OK, here is a pic of Stagea from 1996: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/30/1996_Nissan_Stagea_C34.jpg Notice the unpainted B and C pillars. C pillar is sloped just like Vulcar's. Rear is pretty much in the same shape in both cars, just Ingot is more boxy and the window is a bit angled as opposed to his real-life counterpart. A rather generic front and sides also match. No doubt it's Stagea. Stop changing this car over and over again.
It's 70s LeSabre with Eldorado rear, not an Eldorado with LeSabre front. The Virgo is listed as '67 Eldorado just like Manana but those cars bears very little resemblance so that makes no sense at all. Virgo is Cadillac and the Manana should be Buick.
I don't see much from E-Series in this van. Only the bumper is from Ford and the rest is more or less from Chevrolet Express. Speedo is based more on GMC Savana because of a different front. I think the Rumpo should be listed as Chevrolet Express while the Speedo is GMC Savana. Here is a picture of Chevy Express: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9c/2005_Chevrolet_Express_--_NHTSA.jpg Just compare those cars.
SUV version of Insurgent can be a reference to a Armet Gurkha F5 from "Fast Five". It looks nearly identical to version in the movie: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_373876-Armet-Gurkha-F5.html
GeoZR177 wrote I looked at the truck's website and apparently this version is called an RPV instead of the LAPV Yeah, it's Gurkha RPV. The LAPV is armored SUV while the RPV is a pick-up. Funny thing: the version in game looks better than real one: www.terradyneinc.com/pdf/GURKHA_RPV.pdf

Generally it resembles VW Passat B2 Sedan especially the version after facelifting called VW Santana in EU.
