It's in game with a banger version, stock car version, lowrider version, and drag version plus the 2 door and 4 door flavors.
Technically it'd be second, I think the Auto Skooter is the Bumper Car model from TF2.
It's a '59 Deville Sedan with the weird double lights removed, probably to mask what it was since it's the most distinctive feature of a '59, Christ that's gotta be a beast in a game about crashing cars.
Why is this listed as an "Argyll GT"? The sprite in-game isn't as pointy and jagged as this, it's just a Delorean rear end with a Mk III Supra's pop ups.
I agree with wheelman, that front is definitely inspired by the Ford Thunderbird, but the rest is so dieselpunk that it just blurs together.
Churchill tank | ||
T17 Staghound armored car
M4A3E8 with late-war style sandbag armor for countering Panzerfausts
M4A1 Sherman | ||
Churchill Gun Carrier | ||
British Mark III Valentine
Sturmtiger | ||
Later pattern Panzer IV Ausf F2 with the longer barrel
Panzer IV Ausf F1 with a shorter barrel
M4A3E8 with a Pak 40 muzzle brake
I guess they were going for the look of the Wrangler from the original game but they skipped a decade for that.
Coming soon for anyone wanting to pretend to be Captain Slow racing against an Abarth and Peugeot.
I mean it's technically both given the Yugo was just a 127 made by Zastava. I'm going to say Fiat 127 given there's no real difference between the two in the basic shape.
It looks more like a 'Cuda than a Challenger, probably a '71.
Yeah this is more in-line with the proper '55 rather than the frankenstein ones, the grille is different but hey, close enough.
That's basically 3 different Bel Air years made into one. 57 headlights, 58 grille and a 55 rear clip with the tail lights off of a DeSoto or something similar.
The front looks like an uber homogeneous early 1950's style car, the way the grille is set up screams a '51 Hudson with weird chrome around chrome headlights while the rear is just something more 60's in style than 50's.
2015~ Volkswagen Jetta?
"It is his love, it is his life, it is' 'his fault he forgot to lock the garage."
Like I don't see anything in this that is actually Grand Prix, it just looks like a 70's cadillac run through the futuristic grinder.
Slope back roof screams more muscle car than anything else. Best guess would be either a Barracuda or a Javelin.
Some old school pickup truck, maybe a '37~ Ford?
Considering this is the map that is a straight reference to the mall chase in Blues Brothers, a 1974 Monaco?
Jeep Grand Cherokee with the details changed to save it from the copyright police.
80's Japanese minivan? Pick your choice from there.
I'd say any flavor of 80's boxy sedan like a Volvo but given how short it is overall, definitely a Lada.
The flat facing lights scream 1939 Plymouth in particular, it's the only car of that era with flush faced lights.
Given the fact it shares the same front clip as the truck in the shot, probably going for a generic late 30's early 1940's look. Those flat faced lights scream 1939 Plymouth to me though they never made a truck version with those same lights.
The swooping tail lights, massive grille and the faux wire wheels scream late 70's Cadillac over Grand Prix.
Front clip screams Mitsubishi Lancer or Dodge Charger, rear clip looks more in-line with those early 2000's Bonnevilles than anything Panther body related.
some sort of futuristic MAZ-7310? It's the only thing with a double cab and it looks pretty close to this.
Rear tail lights and the overall boxy look screams late 70's Cadillac, the double wheels are pretty normal considering the extent of how these cars look in this game.
Chevrolet Suburban with as many police protection gear as possible?
I'd say Ion with a heavy 80's slant and any trace of 1990's bubbly car design exacto-knifed off.
That front grille screams like a '66-67 Thunderbird but everything else seems dev made. Maybe some flavor of MRAP but I dunno.
So if you crash it, does it burst into flames?
Chevy Nova? | ||
Yeah, looks like a '20 Bearcat without the lights, fender or roof.
This is jus t the '58 Eldorado Brougham from the last game except now it comes in pink.
Sdk 251 Hanomag. | ||
Tiger Tank. | ||
It's like you boiled several muscle cars together and then stuck the remnants onto one. The lights scream early 70's GM, so I guess you could say Monte Carlo, the front fascia has an AMX look to it, the rear lights are kinda Dodge and the whole body looks vaguely Javelin like.
Yup, Golf VII with a little red tail light strip to fool the lawyers.
Someone rewatched Top Gear
I think I got it. The taillights look like ones from any flavor of '55 Buick, so is the front clip. The only thing that's inaccurate is that it's a two door wagon when the only GM 2-doors for '55 were Chevrolet and Pontiac. |
