I think it's a German car. Why would there be an American taxi in a German game?
I would go with Fiat/Abarth 500 -- Last edit: 2014-01-10 07:13:49
*bump* it's an Isuzu NPR.
It's not a Daihatsu Midget. The Midget has a sloped front. As it's named Pigeon, it's probably a Reliant Robin, which indeed looks a lot like it. -- Last edit: 2014-01-08 20:34:12
I agree on the C-Class, I don't think there is any other car with that kind of taillights.
I'm going with Made for Game, what kind of company would produce such a hideous machine?
I'm not sure if this is a Fiat Coupé. There is nearly nothing underneath the grille, which contradicts the big bumper the Coupé has below the grille. The Coupé also has lights on either side of its grille, and this car has small orange blinkers underneath the grille.
ChoclitBunny wrote Great search results! You seem to know much more about Japanese cars than I do. (To be honest, apart from a few great cars, I'm not into Japanese cars.) This game car has a resemblance with all of your 3 models. Combined with my TownAce, that makes 4 possibilities. Maybe we should file this car as Made For Game...? Thank you for your compliment. I've added lots and lots of Japanese and American cars to webcarstory.com, so I've learned a lot about them in the last couple of years. Myself, I'm not a big fan of European cars, probably because they are too common on the road. Your TownAce is either the commercial version of the TownAce Noah or the export version, I'm not sure. But the Toyota minivans on the Japanese market were all called Noah (except for their predecessors ofcourse).
I said the W210, not the W120. This car: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=8604
I can't make anything out of that, it looks like it has a cannon protruding from the front.
The grille makes me think this is an Isuzu.
ChoclitBunny wrote 1997 Toyota TownAce...? upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/1997-1999_Toyota_TownAce_(KR42R)_van_02.jpg This is the only (japanese) van I can find that has a rear end like this game car. That would mean the picture can be any of the following 3 cars: Daihatsu Delta Wagon: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=12270 Toyota TownAce Noah: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=11716 Toyota LiteAce Noah: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=5424
The Mercedes-Benz W210 E-Class isn't a possibility? It was a popular luxury car in Japan.
Assuming the front of which no picture was posted is also a C-Class, yes.
carcrasher88 wrote Actually, the GTA Wikia page says Albany is the manufacturer of the car, but Dundreary performed the limo conversion. They also still say it's called the Dundreary Stretch in game, which it is. If you go to the Albany page on GTA Wikia, the Stretch is clearly listed there.
For me it is neither a Porsche 962C or anything else. I've already stated in my previous comment why I think so. If you ask me, it's Made For Game.
www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=17240 An image of a Honda Stream as a reference. I'm not sure what it is, I'm already amazed people were able to recognize the other cars in this game.
It was a Dundreary in GTA IV, when it was based on the Dundreary Admiral. They probably just copied the name while changing the design to an Albany Washington. I haven't checked the game though, as GTA Wikia says the name has been changed to Albany Stretch. -- Last edit: 2014-01-05 10:11:49
I think the DeVille is too square to be the right car. The picture above has a more round shape like on the Thunderbird.
I don't really find any suggestion convincing. The tail is weird and round, and the yellow thing on the front (I think a headlight?) doesn't resemble any of the racecars from the LeMans link you posted.
Alright, so somebody made a bad joke, big deal, let's get back on topic again. For example that still nobody has changed the name of this car.
Agreed. Please change it to a Corolla.
I think it's just some kind of random creation with an Opel Corsa B front end, so it's probably best to leave it at that.
I have to agree this is a Thunderbird, the taillights in combination with the giant tailfins make this quite obvious, especially when you look at the image of the '58 Thunderbird in the comments.
Seems nobody is reacting again, I agree on Caddy Fleetwood 75.
I agree on Lincoln Town Car.
The name should be Mitsubishi Minica Toppo, not Mitsubishi Toppo. The first generation (1990-1993) and second generation (1993-1998) were called Minica Toppo, the third (1998-2004) Toppo BJ and the last (2008-2013) was called Toppo. 1995: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=16708 -- Last edit: 2014-01-02 19:20:02
I don't think it's a Granada, it looks nothing like this: webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=14106 I think it's too big for a Fox-body overall -- Last edit: 2013-12-20 08:42:13
How exactly does anyone see a BMW Z3 in this?
The front makes me think this is a Ford product, so I'd go for an LTD
Mk5 | ||
I'm just guessing, but is this the result of finding all of the spaceship parts?
Skid wrote I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the car it's primarily supposed to be based on: The Ferrari California. I guess the body and taillights are very decisive, and there's not a lot of California to be seen, although I understand how you could see that.
I think it's a Caprice PPV, although an SS would also be possible. I'm not saying it doesn't look like an Impala, but the beautiful V8 sound makes me think it's the Caprice PPV. (Haven't heard the SS yet) -- Last edit: 2013-09-24 00:59:43 |
