That Century didn't look like this at all. webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=13801 I think it's a 1970s car.
BMW 3-Series E36 | ||
Fine, I guess the front of a 106 and a ZX look really similar on a low-detail car.
ChoclitBunny wrote @victorvance : Could you post a picture of the side and/or front of this car... I'm really curious to find out what car this could be... looking at the body contour and taillights I still thinnk it could be a Peugeot 403, I'm afraid that's impossible. It's just a static background and this is the only angle at which you get to see the car.
I agree on the Peugeot 106. It looks a bit funny, but it has the same grille and the taillights in combination with the low license plate look more like the 106 than the ZX.
I'll go with the Mitsubishi Lancer as suggested before.
carcrasher88 wrote Why does it have to be changed just because it's in Chicago? Mercedes-Benz sells the CLA in the US, and the midsection looks a lot more like the CLA than the Verano. I will admit the nose looks way more Buick than M-B, but the middle is still more like the CLA. I don't really see the CLA in it, but I said Regal because of Chicago since JBanton suggested the Insignia which isn't sold in the US.
Yet somehow it's listed as a Mercedes-Benz CLA? Someone turn this into Buick Regal please, as it is in Chicago. -- Last edit: 2014-01-12 22:53:50
Tycek wrote Well, I expect someone to agree with me on that matter, so I will be able to remove that lying statement with calm mind and conscience I agree. That way you'll be able to sleep tonight.
Tycek wrote I know the difference between the cabs in both version, but here is clearly short cab truck yet it has Xtra Cab as trim. They couldn't even correctly remodel the movie car? The "Xtra Cab" should be simply removed from the trim. It's Car Town, what did you expect? :P
Ford78 wrote It is my opinion. Then respect my opinion, and don't say "no it's a Supra". Because it looks very different from the real Supra and thus is possibly a different car.
Ford78 wrote No Desscythe, it's a Supra. It could be an Prelude but to be honest, I'm confused... The fact that the name Supra is at the top of this page doesn't mean that it is a Supra. You should learn to have an opinion of your own.
So the car is now a VW Polo, great. Only it says V (the current one) while it should be a III.
ItsaUserName wrote The 1995 - 1998 pre-facelift model: Don't you think that model is too round? The car on the game picture is very boxy.
I think this looks more like a Honda Prelude than a Toyota Supra..
I think this should also be the X90 Toyota Chaser webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=5397
It's a Toyota Chaser webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=5397
This is NOT a Mitsubishi Outlander. It's probably based off some concept car.
It doesn't resemble the Lada Peter Turbo that well if you ask me. The game is too old for this to be a TagAZ Aquila. -- Last edit: 2014-01-12 13:56:17
ItsaUserName wrote I honestly think this should just be Made For Game. I mean look at it, the car has a Ford Fiesta body, an Opel Corsa front end, a Crown Victoria rear end and godknows what else on the side. What kind of Fiesta body?
Even though this is a 3-door car, the front seems like a Jeep Liberty: webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=14169
ChoclitBunny wrote Let's file this car VW Polo, okay...? www.autonewsbrasil.com.br/images/posts/Volkswagen-Polo-S04-Edition.jpg I actually meant this one: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:VW_Polo_III_front_20080717.jpg But I'm glad you agree on it being a Polo.
victorvance wrote I also think it could be a Audi Q7. The body matches the Q7 well, but as it is simlar to the Touareg that's only logical. The headlights as well as the taillights don't match the lights on the Q7 at all. The lights do look a lot like the Touareg's lights. en.autowp.ru/pictures/volkswagen/touareg/autowp.ru_volkswagen_touareg_v6_3.2_us-spec_1.jpg en.autowp.ru/pictures/volkswagen/touareg/autowp.ru_volkswagen_touareg_v6_3.2_us-spec_2.jpg
Agreed. It isn't a Ford F-Series. Why are so many cars on igcd identified wrong? -- Last edit: 2014-01-12 01:24:52
Still, I think the 599 GTB is rounder than this car. Couldn't it be a Ferrari F430? -- Last edit: 2014-01-12 01:22:18
I think the car looks a bit more modern than the 403, but the taillights on the 404 don't match.
Ford78 wrote I'm not being sarcasm. I'm JUST TELLING THE REALITY. It doesn't look like a Mini even the slightest amount.
Andra wrote In my opinion, it has: -A first gen Cayenne body -2010 Subaru Forester headlights -A 2009 Chrysler Town & Country grille -2012 Grand Cherokee taillights I'd say MFG First of all, the VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne are very similar cars. Second, it doesn't have Subaru Forester headlights (webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=12499), a Chrysler T&C grille (webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=4923), or Grand Cherokee taillights (webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=378). So I'd go for a first generation Volkswagen Touareg.
ChoclitBunny wrote Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. imganuncios.mitula.net/used_2010_ferrari_599_gtb_fiorano_fiorano_coupe_99174795669859879.jpg (Same as the red one...) I'm not sure. It's difficult to see if the car has concealed headlights or not, but the profile looks a lot like a Ferrari.
ChoclitBunny wrote Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. www.owallpapers.net/wp-content/uploads/cars-wallpaper-ferrari-599-gtb-fiorano-owallpapers-8446.jpg (Same as the black one...) It seems to have concealed headlights. I would opt for a Ferrari with an old Corvette front.
ChoclitBunny wrote The rear styling and rearlight units of the Trabant are totally different from this game car. The Opel Commodore I mentioned earlier is close, but now I think I have found the one: 1970 Ford Taunus: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b6/Ford_Taunus_1.3_TC_ca_1974_Schaffen-Diest_2013.jpg Moreover, it makes no sense in a 3-car game to have a Trabant alongside a Volkswagen Golf and BMW 3... I'm sorry but I still think it's closer to the Trabant than those two big cars you mentioned. Also, I don't see why it doesn't make sense it's in this game? The Trabant was a very popular German car, and I think it has been produced over a very long time. So there's a possibility that it is this car. I mean, the roofline and taillights are very similar.
It was sarcasm. It doesn't look like a Veyron at all. -- Last edit: 2014-01-11 21:35:26
Can someone explain to me how this car is a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren?
This is closest to an Audi R8 if you ask me. Not a Made For Game.
ChoclitBunny wrote ... and you're kidding too, aren't you...?!!! Trabant is a German car make, but you cannot compare apples with pears!!! But it does match? I know the game image is very unclear, but the roofline and vertical taillights look a lot like the image posted above. I've looked around the web, but it's impossible to find a better image of this car. The car on the image probably isn't as square as it looks, as the VW Golf in this game is also really square. That's why I think it's a rounder Trabant. -- Last edit: 2014-01-11 16:48:49
PikesPeak wrote You know that's a damaged car , right? Yeah, but I thought I'd clarify that the grille is dented so people aren't going to say "That looks nothing like a VW Polo!".
It looks like a non-existant Mercedes-Benz A-Klasse sedan.
I agree on Pontiac Fiero

That's a Vandenbrink Carver alright.
Possibly an Isuzu Trooper/Bighorn? webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=11753 It matches better than the Suburban. -- Last edit: 2014-01-11 15:40:03
Ford78 wrote Mini Cooper? I think this comes closer to a Bugatti Veyron than to a Mini Cooper, geez. The front looks like a facelifted 3rd gen VW Polo to me. With a dented grille. -- Last edit: 2014-01-11 15:38:35

First gen VW Touareg. It looks nothing like a Q7. -- Last edit: 2014-01-11 15:31:30
*bump* it's a Subaru Legacy.
I agree on Subaru Legacy.
Agreed, it's a Corolla hatchback.
Tycek wrote I wonder why this is called Xtra Cab? Its cabin is a bit bigger, allowing for cargo storage behind the seats. It's difficult to see on the Car Town version though. The imcdb.org links that Maltravers posted show it better. -- Last edit: 2014-01-11 15:26:43
The rear looks a bit like the Kia Spectra, the front doesn't look like anything. |
