Toyota 86, not GT86 as it is a Japanese game.
Named "Supramacy" on the game's website.
Early RX-7, as shown by the smaller wing. I renamed it to Efini RX-7, which is correct for a Japanese game.
Obviously a Honda Life Dunk... www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=17221
J-2 wrote Yes, it will be the best thing to do. I just added the info related to all this in the "How to obtain it" field. If it happens to be released, well, problem solved... You probably shouldn't put "non-obtainable as of today" in there, unless you plan to change the date manually every day.
Oh, duh. Sorry, didn't look at the year of the game. (Although I didn't edit the page)
I'd say Hyundai Sonata, the front makes me think of the hybrid in particular. webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=13552
carcrasher88 wrote Is it just me, or does the rear look like a 1998 Hyundai Sonata? I mean, the rest is Maxima, but the rear looks different than the rest of it... Agreed.
Razor440 wrote Screw this! Europeans had it so much better. We had the RS, I'll give you that. But the 2nd Focus was bland in every possible way. The sedan we got was even worse than the American Focus.

Why is there a drivable Skyline/Impreza in a game like Battlefield? Did they introduce a street racing minigame or something?
Razor440 wrote Saturn Ion, but I think the back took some inspiration from a 2000's Ford Falcon. +1
I'm definitely not an expert on European Fords, but the line running across the side is rather low. The Granada MkII shares this attribute. The Cortina MkV has the line running a bit higher.
Seeing the rear view, (and the obviously Back to the Future inspired Starflight) I'll change my opinion to DeLorean as well.
I agree on Lancia. | ||
GamerFIB7590 wrote I'd say Mazda 5 or Toyota Sienna I think the rear window is too upright for it to be a Sienna.
webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=20972 Mazda5 maybe? The rear looks similar and the windows make sense.
Noko Tau wrote Is it a MK3 (Corsa C)? Really? I'm only saying since the Opel Corsa A was branded the Vauxhall Nova in the UK so the first Vauxhall Corsa was the Opel Corsa B. So isn't the third gen Opel Corsa is really only the second gen Vauxhall Corsa? Correct, for Vauxhall this was the second generation.

I think the overall shape corresponds more with the 75 Monte Carlo: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=15654 The headlights were probably taken from a contemporary Chrysler/Ford/Imperial/Lincoln/Mercury. The 78 Eldorado has quite a lot of differences: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=14461 -- Last edit: 2016-04-15 00:26:17
I find it kind of shocking that an American has never seen hidden headlights like that. I mean, here in Europe there are pretty much no cars with headlights that turn all the way around, but in the States there were plenty of those in the 70s.
Well there's nothing quite like it. Plus it has a supercharged V8 and a cosy interior.
Other than that there is no Mark VIII to see here though.
AutoTracker wrote 2014 was the first model year for the Rogue in the US as well as the global X-Trail. Sales for both started in 2013 though, so 2013 is actually correct. The global X-Trail has a 2013 model.

So how exactly does that prove your point? It shows how dissimilar the A4 and this BaiernSport something are.
Can anyone with a Forza game confirm that these are called "CR-X del Sol" in-game? It strikes me as odd, as it was sold as Civic del Sol in North America (or Honda Del Sol from MY1995 onwards).
So where is this comparison chart of yours? Because the stock version is definitely a 3 Series with 2000 A4 taillights. There is not even the slightest amount of 1994 A4 in this.

GroupB wrote Genki lists is as a 1994 for KB1 and a 1997 for KB2&3. Since the styling didn't change between September 1994 and April 1997, I'm just going to leave it as the developers listed it. Also note that in the rest of the world a new car introduced in September 1994 would be a 1995 model rather than 1994. The Japanese go by month and year rather than model year. I think only in the United States (or perhaps North America) do they use the model year system. Here in Europe, whether a car is introduced in January 2016 or in December 2016, it will be called a 2016 car.
Seems fair, if the game states the car is a 1997 model, that is definite. You should probably also change the year to 1997 for the other games in the series.
GroupB wrote Please do your research before randomly changing things. Genki says 1997: i64.tinypic.com/2ntwvq0.jpg The real world says 1997: www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/DAIHATSU/MIRA_TR-XX/700070410230140221002/ I did, thank you very much. Goo Net Exchange often puts the wrong year on cars, and your first link doesn't work. www.carsensor.net/catalog/daihatsu/mira/F002/ This generation of the Mira was produced from 1994 until 1997. In 1995 the Mira Moderno was introduced, which was facelifted in 1996, and produced until 1998. The Mira TR-XX was originally based on the Mira, but was facelifted in 1996 and until 1998 based on Mira Moderno. I suggest that you, as an admin, ask why someone comes up with a certain identification instead of immediately accusing them of not doing any research. -- Last edit: 2016-04-02 19:56:06

Not sure whether it's enough similarities, but if you really don't want to list this car as MFG, I would go with the Element.
Burn Rubber wrote So I was out today and what did I see? A Honda Element that had similarities to this. Time to make another comparison chart. Stay tuned. Except for the rear doors that would make an acceptable comparison, it even has the suicide doors.
I agree on Corolla i.ytimg.com/vi/_7VDX0YPo4g/maxresdefault.jpg
Well I think you can stop, because I don't think any mod is going to list this car as either a Cube, xB or N-Box.
Indeed the headlights require great imagination, which is why I don't find them similar. Fog lights are round, like on a good 75% of all cars with foglights, only on the game car they are in a rectangular slot, and on the N-Box they are not. The grille is extremely different like you mentioned. The side profile is that of a van. You'll find it to be comparable to most vans. I think this is more similar: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=234 And it's identified as a Chevrolet Astro. A Japanese car has not been mentioned on that page once. -- Last edit: 2016-03-31 00:21:21
Burn Rubber wrote You do know both cars were sold in the USA I'm guessing? In fact back in early 2000's you saw xBs everywhere. Cube's are less common, But here. You seem to miss my point, but anyway. I'll give you that the front half of the car can be seen as similar to the xB with the bumper and the overhang and everything. Except for the Cube being square, there's not a single shape on it that resembles this car. The N-Box I'm not going to talk about anymore, because it's just not relevant in the slightest. - The car in fact is square, like pretty much all the vans in the world. - The taillights seem to be inspired by generic American vans. - The rear doors are typical for commercial vans, and they're not featured on any of the cars you have mentioned. - The windows do not resemble those of the Cube, nor those of the xB, as it has no body color pillars in the windows. - The grille does not resemble anything you have mentioned. - The headlights do not resemble anything you have mentioned. - The front bumper is similar to the xB's big front bumper, only it features foglights which do not resemble those on the xB. I also think the 2nd gen Cube (although not being sold in the US) is more relevant to your case: en.wheelsage.org/nissan/cube/z11/1418/pictures/212910/ -- Last edit: 2016-03-30 23:50:24
Burn Rubber wrote No. I barely ever use WCS. See above. The Cube and xB both are very similar AND American. I'm sorry, but you're aware that the Cube and the xB (= Toyota bB) are Japanese cars? I was referring to things like Ford, Chevy, GMC, Dodge, etc. -- Last edit: 2016-03-30 23:39:11
How does the N-Box (www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=12708) look anything like this? Or the Kei (www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=21148 I know, it's a Laputa, same car different badge) Or the Move (don't know which generation you mean, but none of them look similar, here's a Move Conte for the overall shape: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=4434) In my opinion this car is just some generic van-like thing, not resembling anything. If you really want it to resemble something, try American vans. Edit: Maybe you can make our lives easier by stating which elements of those cars you find similar? -- Last edit: 2016-03-30 23:37:02 |
