The model for this looks so good!
M@xtimot wrote Ok so I have a sedan version of that car (not classed as a Ferio, only Civic VTi) that doesn't seem to be listed here, should I take a picture or something? A picture would be nice. I'm not sure what Gran Turismo 2 is like with regional versions, but I guess for a non-Japanese region the car could be listed as Honda Civic instead of Honda Civic Ferio. -- Last edit: 2016-07-17 21:41:25
M@xtimot wrote Same car??? The other one is 4WD and Gran Turismo lists them as different cars. There are more 2WD/4WD cars in the game.
Rinspeed wrote it's a 2016 car but yes, with a specific name This? www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=19919
Aginnon wrote Name spoofing the band Ghengis Khan? Maybe? Do you have any idea what that band is called after? Look it up.
I think I've had enough IGCD for a while. My point was clearly missed by a rather large margin.
Razor440 wrote I knew what a '69 Charger looked like when I was in preschool. That's really sad that a preschooler knew more than him. Shame! You done bashing? He might not identify cars, but at least he is uploading pictures, so you can stop with the shit-talking. Also, perspective. I knew what an Opel Astra looked like as a preschooler. You probably still don't, so that makes you dumber than a preschooler? Grow up.
Purehell wrote This car is not a Galant Sigma. This is Toyota Corona Taxi (T140). cdn.snsimg.carview.co.jp/minkara/usercar/000/001/049/004/1049004/p1.jpg?ct=16528435a0ae +1
NismoR35 wrote Also the older gen Explorers such as in this game, and in that link Desscythe linked, was also made in RHD in the respective markets. Yes those Explorers were also sold in Europe, and in the UK they were RHD (evident by your second pic). The ones for the Japanese market (sold through dealership, not private import), seem to be LHD, but they might have used US or EU press pictures to save costs. -- Last edit: 2016-05-29 01:24:53
I've looked all around for this car, and it doesn't seem to be anything really. It's too long for a hatchback, so it would be station wagon. And although it features elements from existing cars (headlights Toyota Tercel/Corolla II, lower front bumper from Nissan Pulsar/Lucino), none are really more prevalent than the others. So MFG I would say.
This was the first thing that came to my mind, but it also isn't a perfect match: www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=7285
Burn Rubber wrote I use Wikipedia over WCS too. The correct emote was ;( or ;cry; by the way. (Typed correctly of course) The annoying thing about wikipedia is that it isn't very specific. I mean, the Japanese wikipedia is very detailed about cars, but they do not always have all the images that show a facelift or something.
Front looks Corolla E110 to me. www.webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=11441
carcrasher88 wrote Not a March, but rather either a 1998-2000 Daihatsu Cuore or Mira [L700]. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daihatsu_Mira#L700_series_.281998.29 The license plate also indicates that it's not a March, because it's a yellow kei plate, and the March isn't a kei car. We have a whole website filled with cars like the Mira, and still you decide to use wikipedia for reference. You break my heart But yes, you're right about the Mira I think, seeing how cars in this game as a lot squarer than their real-life counterparts. -- Last edit: 2016-05-29 00:34:42
Burn Rubber wrote Yeah. It's an Explorer. But that entire page was in Chinese/Japanese. do the sell Explorers in Japan? I wouldn't think so. That's the point I was trying to make. Don't you have Google Translate? Carsensor basically lists all cars sold in Japan since +/- 1990.
Burn Rubber wrote My first though was Explorer but I thought this game was set in Japan. www.carsensor.net/catalog/ford/explorer/F001/
Burn Rubber wrote Mitsubishi...? Nah the front is very Explorer. The Pajero looks nothing like this, unless you meant another Mitsubishi.
WarLord wrote www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=90227 what about it? What are you trying to say? The page you linked is a completely different vehicle. This page is probably a 2006-2014 Fiat Ducato.
WarLord wrote what year? This one, I imagine: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/29/Fiat_Ducato_front_20080409.jpg
Front is Nissan Cedric, rear is Nissan Gloria.
JFK wrote Actually you are wrong, because you used the wrong green This horrible green was used on original Fabias, so yes, it is a Skoda green Touché
Razor440 wrote Is that Skoda Green? Skoda (www.topgear.com/sites/default/files/styles/16x9_640w/public/cars-road-test/image/2015/02/Large%20Image%20(optional)_199.jpg?itok=CjQ4fZW_) Fiat (farm8.staticflickr.com/7006/6632166459_81cf2a1eba_b.jpg) Not likely. -- Last edit: 2016-05-27 23:47:00
Probably an Eldorado or Continental Mk III.
Aginnon wrote Honda Civic (1995) Not in the slightest.
Front looks kind of Tercel/Corsa/Corolla II, taillights look like Honda Civic Shuttle.
Speedevil wrote I thought there was no Chevy Van with that kind of rear lights. Guess I was wrong. This van doesn't appear in the Japanese Dreamcast version BTW. I don't think there is either a Chevy Van, Econoline or Ram Van with those rear lights. Or did you mean you actually found one?
krq9 wrote I see your point, but I think the sharper roofline and boxiness is a byproduct of the limited number of polygons. That is true. I'll concede.
Tuppence870 wrote Actually, this literally is a DB7 with a wing. I think the rear half is definitely not a DB7. The roofline is not as gradual as the DB7, but more radical like the Venturi. The car is also more boxy than the DB7. webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=7639 (DB7) webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=1418 (Venturi)
GamerFIB7590 wrote Looks more like Chevrolet Captiva Better match than XC90, yes.
speedfreak975 wrote It's funny you still think old rules apply. Silly goose this the new age of design.....the 570 GT can be classified as a GT, a hatchback and a sports car or supercar....which is a first. We already said that what was black and white doesn't exist on new cars it's grey. This is a coupe in today's world like it or not. Compare it to normal GLE and see the difference. The fact you think old laws still work makes me laugh There are no laws in automotive design as far as I know. To everyone his own opinion
The location of the taillights makes me think Fiat Panda or Fiat Novo Uno.
93MANIAC wrote https://youtu.be/_ty6HjrDXpU?t=1m1s That's rather interesting. Especially how it can just appear on a boat out of nowhere.
Looks too long for a kei car.
I think the rear half is entirely Venturi. Headlights are obviously DB7 though.
Burn Rubber wrote But it's not. Coupes don't have 4 doors. :P And coupes are not SUVs.
Wrong car though | ||
Catan69 wrote Hmmm, I still think it's an Acura RL. Weeeell, looks like this time Ubisoft has given to us a true challenge. I take it you mean this one: webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=8630 Would you like to point out why you think it looks like the RL? For me the grille, headlights and shape of the trunk don't match the RL very well. And the roofline is rather common on mid-size sedans I believe.
M@xtimot wrote That's what I though first but the rear lights bugs me... Why? The black edge the F50 has around its taillights seems to match.
M@xtimot wrote You mean the stripes right? Colors are randomly displayed at every spawn (with the exception of a few cars) and should not be taken into account for that game. Oh, I didn't know that. In that case it can be pretty much any rally car from the 90s or 2000s.
Tuppence870 wrote Seriously?? Firstly, GM took full control of Opel back in 1931, at the height of Buick's success. I'm fairly sure Opel models have only been rebranded as Buicks since the Opel Astra became the Chinese Buick Excelle XT in 2009. Obviously, they're talking about the newest 2010+ Buick Regal, which is a rebranded 2008+ Opel Insignia. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1e/2011_Buick_Regal_CXL.jpg On inspection of the bodylines, I certainly agree with the Buick Regal, although the front is very similar to the Acura RL. But I must stress, this is NOT Made for Game - it's a Buick Regal. Actually, I believe the first Opel to be sold as a Buick was the Opel Corsa B, which in December 2000 started Chinese production under the name Buick Sail. Since a couple of years, it has lost its ties to the Opel and is now called Chevrolet Sail. And yes we were talking about the current Buick Regal, I believe it had considerable influence on the design of this car. I don't really see an Acura RL in the front, the headlights are too round for that.
I think it looks like a Buick Regal with an Audi A6 rear. Whether the game states it's Japanese or not, since I don't really see any American-Japanese sedan in this. At least it's not a Jetta in any way. -- Last edit: 2016-05-22 23:26:48
sajmon14 wrote It seems that it was called Delica in UK. Or maybe it was a japanese import? Could be, I don't think the vans in Europe had that much ground clearance. The correct name for the Japanese import would be Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear.
Wasn't this called Space Gear in Europe? Or is the UK an exception? -- Last edit: 2016-05-22 09:52:27
Could be pretty much any hatchback made in the 90s or 2000s. Although I don't get what the gray bump by the rear side windows is.
Kind of looks like an old rally car. Color scheme makes me think Peugeot or Ford. -- Last edit: 2016-05-22 08:20:42
carcrasher88 wrote Chevrolet Aveo5 [T250]? The lines on the back do look like that.
Shouldn't this be a 240Z? Since Fairlady Zs have RHD.
sajmon14 wrote So we had a long discussion about not labeling those as Beetles and it didn't help anyway Too bad some of the most active members have the shortest memories.
I agree it's basically a shitty job at turning the model for the 350Z into the 370Z, but thanks Hakari for the compliment anyway.
Sorry, I meant that the car in the link I posted is a 350Z. And if that is in the game, then the car we're identifying here should be a 370Z. |
