Think about what you just said. 'Stealth Bomber', is the F-117 Nighthawk, a "stealth bomber"?

Yeah, it has elements of the Nighthawk in its design but it's got more influence from the B-2.

Well, the Nighthawk is a bomber/attack craft though, I don't think it can even be equipped with air-to-air missiles (no radar).

As for the model, well, it looks like what the Nighthawk would look like if it was B-2 sized.
Mitsubishi Starion 4WD

Gran Turismo 6 (2013)
I think these 4WD rally versions of the Starion should have the "4WD" part of the model name and not just as extra info, since they are substantially different from the standard Starions both drivetrain and bodywork wise.
Maserati MC12 Corsa

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)
I think these Corsa versions should have "Corsa" in the model name, to differentiate from the street-legal MC12s.

Not saying it's been forgotten, but the 60's Honda F1 from the February update still needs to be added. And the track diagram of the Grand Valley track that also came with said update.

The thing is that the site isn't programmed to separate brands that share the same name and country, and the only way to do that is renaming one of these brands

Yep, I figured that would be an issue as well. Personally, I would be okay with the bikes being listed under "Triumph Motorcycles" from the current company name which is "Triumph Motorcycles Ltd", and leave the current "Triumph" make for the defunct car company.

Yes I read your post but the main point is the same. We only separate brands if the vehicles are made in different places. Because otherwise everything is consolidated under the same brand regardless if they're "not related".

Anyway I don't see the issue. There are more Triumph bikes than there are cars listed on the site. It's almost 2:1.

My issue is that the company that makes motorbikes has been a different company and owned by different owners than the (now long defunct) car company, for 87 years.

And we already list brands like "Efini" as their own makes. If those deserve their own makes (which I don't have a problem with for the record), surely two separate companies making two separate products for almost 90 years does? :p

Absolutely not. We don't separate brands because they made one thing and now make something else.

Like for instance we don't separate Peugeot between when they made sporty cars and terrible cars.... :p

Did you even read my post? The companies haven't been related to each other in ages.

IGCD Future releases and to-do list (2023)
Something I've been thinking for a while, would it be possible to split Triumph into two makes; one that made cars and the one that is still making motorcycles? The two companies have been separate since 1936 AFAIK. It doesn't make much sense IMO to bunch them both under the same "make", when any company connection other than the name is long gone.

What do you guys think?
Porsche 911 Turbo

Watch Dogs 2 (2016)
Personally, there's not enough 911 in it, even though the name seems to allude to it. I mean, the body looks more like a "generic 60s sports car" to me (it would actually be a nice original design, if it doesn't already exist.). Oh well. :p

Top Drives (2017)
Personally, I find it a bit boring that these are "just" real pictures, instead of actual 3D models or something made specifically for the game.

But I suppose there's nothing wrong with it, if these are "licensed" so to speak and not just taken off the net by some rando. And I'm not an admin or anything anyways. :p

Maybe it is a throwback to TDU2?

I think it's more a case of saving time/money using a "hand-me-down" 3D model they found in some old TDU2 folder. :p Nothing wrong with using old models of course, if they are accurate.

Also, upon closer look (there is a close front shot in the trailer on track that looks like Sonoma), this might be the "Carbon Edition".

Just a couple of things that came to mind.

I agree, just simply having German origin for a Verano is a bit weird.
IMCDB also has an option to add "Built in: [country name]" and "Made for: [country name]" next to the country origin, which could be useful for cases like this car - I think it would be a good idea to add these features to IGCD.
That would help clear up things a bit, since there are a lot of inconsistencies on the site right now - for example some of the Opel-based Vauxhalls have British, while others have German origin.

IGCD used to have the "made for" as well, but it was removed at some point.

And yet another name that sounds quite awfully in Spanish.

I'm sure it's named after a bull as always, but revuelto can be translated into feeling stomach churned or as scrambled eggs among other things.

(To be fair, Reventón was even worse, since it literally means blowout, something you don't want to associate with a supercar)

Speaking of Lamborghini and awkward names, the Jalpa, spanish pronounciation "Halpa" is the finnish word for "cheap". Quite fitting for an entry-level Lambo actually! :D
