Uses a TVR Cerbera engine sound, which was later re-used in Burnout: Paradise.

Colours are from a 1998+ RX-7, though the body is of a Series 6 (1992-1996).

Not only is this car featured in the famous intro, but this car also appears in the Black Box Games version's "reward" movie, where it's driven by an unknown racer.
Ford Crown Victoria

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002)
On both versions of HP2, this car looks weird. On the main PS2 version, it has a chromed front grille and a missing bullbar, whilst on the other versions, the front grille isn't chromed, and it has a bullbar fitted. The side profile is also weird, and the rear is modeled after a 2000+ model. So, it's a weird mishmash of different P71 Crown Victorias.

I through the engine sounds are created by the developers.

Nope, they were outsourced to American-based Tommy Tallarico Studios (which did this, 6 and Demolition Racer), as all three games share sounds with each other.

Honda NSX

Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights (2007)
Right-hand drive model for the UK market, but unlike the Acura variant (which is actually a 1990), this has the correct wheels.
Acura NSX

Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights (2007)
The rims and the roof are from a much earlier NSX (1990), and a real 1999 NSX should have a body coloured roof and 7-spoke rims.
Nissan Skyline GT-R

The yellow motorbike on the far left; positively a 1994 model due to the fox eye headlights.
