In the top picture, it reminds me more of the Skoda Octavia. The only thing SAAB-ish I can see, is the rear lights, everything else seem Skoda-like. The front would be a Volkswagen Passat or something. -- Last edit: 2018-02-01 23:10:03
victorvance wrote It looks like a mixture between a fourth generation Volkswagen Bus and a Dodge Ram Van. But it isn´t close enough to any of them to be honest. I had that exact same thought.
Superleggera129 wrote Porsche 911! I was gonna say that too!
MACK garbage truck? | ||
M@xtimot wrote The blue rear lights are ingame indicators that the vehicle has an electric engine, I've already said somewhere along that car with grey rear lights is an hybrid. Oooo righty, my bad! Well, considering it's an electric car, it could very likely be a Honda Clarity, but as a hatchback?
Citroen DS3 hatchback is the closest I can think of. Just imagine the rear side windows of the DS3 smaller, and blue rear lights, with the wheel skirt on the rear wheels, and this is what should be the out come. But if it were a car that actually exists, I would say the closest is a Citroen hatchback from the 1980s or early 1990s.
Hmm, could have sworn I saw car from somewhere... In a movie or something. Could be a reference or a car made for the sake of the game. Citroen Mehari is the closest I can think of. Though I did have some old Jeep wrangler in mind because of the black bars behind the driver.
PlotTwist wrote Renault Trafic? It's hard to tell what any of the cars from this game are because they're so pixelated. I'd also agree with Renault Trafic, the model from the 1990s.
Iveco Daily rings a bell here.
Definitely a Winnebago LeSharo.
Renault Talisman, first thought about these pictures.
Front had Audi to it, and rear looks like Lamborgini. The Intior looks like that of Infinity, or the bigger models of Nissan.
generalrusty78 wrote That Steering Wheel. Reminds me of something I would see in a 70s Citroen.
zarich319 wrote Looks more like a International Harvester than a Toyota to me, specially the cab and bed I agree.
Looks like some American bus prototype/concept from the 1940s. I also had the Fowler Landliner as a thought. -- Last edit: 2018-01-31 08:35:44
Front is from LDV. | ||
Rear design looks like Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ.
Front reminds me of 2016 Mercedes Vito.
JFK wrote Mantrip Bus (bus for miners) Oh yeah... would looks something like this: sunrisecoal.com/wp/wp-content/gallery/test-gallery/mantrip.jpg
Has to be some Neoplan, they always have those designs.
Hmm, Classic Mercedes bus from the 60s-80s?
Mercedes SK 8x4, first thing in my mind.
M@xtimot wrote Most trucks with similar sprites were listed under Scania R-Series. Though this one is a little bit different than the other (roof a bit more long, the whole cabin is actually a bit more long). I'd agree on a Scania 8x8, the version with off-road tyres and elevated suspensions, usually used at constructions, to carry sand or rubble piles. -- Last edit: 2018-01-31 08:00:10
Seems like Neoplan to me.
I had a SAAB in mind the moment I saw this. I also thought of the Volkswagen Scirocco, but the front of the scirocco was vertical, not like what's in the picture..
hmm, I would say Nissan Leaf, with wheel skirt over the rear wheels. Looks like some taxi to me, with different small colors on the side (could be ads or telephone number).
Uhh... Made me think of a John Deere lawn mower with muddy wheels. hehe
Ford Transit stuck my mind hard when I saw this picture. But the front wheels seem almost under the side windows.. Could be a Ford Transit designed this way, for the sake of the game.
My first thought, Opel Combo, with longer body. It could as well be a Mercedes E-class with elevated roof and long body.
Superleggera129 wrote Mercedes Actros I also had the racing Mercedes Actros in mind.
Hmm, Mercedes Sprinter-based Hymer?
Hmm, Renault-ish to me... the extended rear reminds me of the Renault Espace 4th generation. We can assume it's a cargo van version of the Renault Espace?
M@xtimot wrote Nah, not curvy enough for a Saxo. Plus the rear light is too high. Oh yeh, true!
Looks to be Renault-based.
Front made me think of some Renault truck, the newer ones. The side resembles some MAN truck.
carcrasher88 wrote Well, the paint scheme, in it's grey/silver and blue combo certainly resembles that of the iconic R34 from 2F2F, but, as mentioned, the body shape doesn't match. Maybe a Honda Civic coupe? Honda Civic is not a bad guess. Although the hatchback does seem European to me, Renault Megane or Ford Focus
M@xtimot wrote The scuolabuses are yellow despite being italian, so it's not a really valid argument toward the car's origin. However the Dodge Promaster is a good find. Though, the game lists that vehicle under "minibus" and not "schoolbus" (as the other schoolbuses in the game). I'm not sure if the fact both JFK's and Altfuture's screenshot of that bus with a yellow paintjob is a coincidence or that the game actually put that car on shades of Yellow. Well, the minibus seems American to me because of the design scheme: yellow body with black horizontal line... Or maybe that black horizontal line we're seeing, is just the grey plastic paneling (typical for vans, protection reasons)? If the horizontal like is just black paint, I will stick to Dodge Promaster and it being American, but if it's grey plastic paneling, then I will agree with you guys that it is a Fiat Ducato/Peugeot Boxer/Citroen Jumper. However, the yellow color doesn't necessarily mean it would be associated with schools, I've seen many yellow minibuses (based on Ducatos, Boxers, Sprinters, etc..) being used as tourist buses.
I'll have to agree with Saleen S7, saw pics of them and they look so alike with this sport car in the picture. Initially I just had the Chevrolet Corvette in mind, the design, but Corvette ain't that long.
M@xtimot wrote Would be an old one, but unfortunately, the wing mirrors don't fit. Oooh yeah true! For some reason I always feel like a lotta double decker busses in this game are either Vanhools or Setras. hehe.
M@xtimot wrote The car is listed under "street racer" in the game, so the spoiler isn't supposed to be as standard. Really? The color theme and spoiler combo made me think motorsport... Oh well it could be a hatchback with performance edition/package on it.
M@xtimot wrote It's a minivan, not a break or a crossover. Ah, well it doesn't seem like a Renault Espace of any kind ... I'm inclined to say it's a Peugeot 407 with the dimension of a minivan, but then if it were to be a real minivan that actually exists, I'd say it closely resembles the Ford S-max. Can't see anything Renault-ish about that minivan! hehe -- Last edit: 2018-01-31 05:42:45
M@xtimot wrote Yes it's indeed a unplayable junk bus that you can find randomly on the ground, looks big enough to be an actual bus rather than a minibus. Seems to be front engine to me. I agree with you, it seems like a front engine, but it's drive-train could also front wheel drive, if it's a Mercedes L306d (which strongly seems like it to me). Here is the link of the bus version Mercedes L306d I'm referring to. hiveminer.com/Tags/harburgertransporter I'm referring to the picture of the long orange bus you may find. -- Last edit: 2018-01-31 05:34:59
Seems like a short cabriolet, maybe a BMW 1 series cabriolet?
Looks more like an Iveco Daily to me.
hmm, looks more like an International Harvester Scout to me.
The color scheme looks like that of a typical American school bus, so it could be a Freightliner/Dodge Sprinter. Or if it were a Fiat Ducato, to be more accurate, it would be the Dodge Promaster (basically a Fiat Ducato built for American roads). www.allpar.com/news/2017/08/back-to-school-with-ram-promaster-38233
Although.. If it didn't have that spoiler, it would leave me stuck between a Ford or a Renault Megane hatchback, 2 door versions... both look alike.
OldNFS wrote Nissan Skyline R34? Hmm, you're right about the fact that both, the Nissan Skyline R34 and the car in the picture, are performance cars, but the car in the picture seems to be based on some Ford hatchback. Whereas the Nissan Skyline R34 is a coupe, would be longer than that.
Uhh, makes me thing of the mid 2000s Renault Laguna estate..
Looks like something Russian or Eastern European. The only thing Volkswagen-ish about the minibus is the color scheme and the side designs, everything else just seems different. The body design made me thing of a Peugeot J9, without the body cover over the front wheels. |
