valera wrote Toyota Land Cruiser 80 yah!
It's got the front of a Lada, but body reminds me of some Ford pick up...
Yeah looks like a Jeep Strangler, opps sorry, I mean wrangler, but the roof reminds me a bit of the Mercedes G-class or Tata Sumo.
Ford or Lincoln whisper here!
Front looks more like a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo...
RussianRacer9 wrote Glad i'm probably found it, 1975 Dodge Coronet/Plymouth Fury I was about to say American of some sort!
Something about the front headlights and grill, reminds me of DAF...
Front strongly reminds me of something I've once seen before... But side and rear look like something American.
Rear and wheels make the van seems somewhat Eastern European... If it hadn't had that badge and VW grill, I would say RAF Latvia.
Toyota Kijang? Definitely something Japanese!
enzo96 wrote I see a bit of Suzuki Alto in this I agree, Renault Twingo with some bit of Suzuki Alto. Rear whispers something like Hyundai, to me.
Oh dear is it just me or did Opel always have this habit of making cars that looks somewhat Asian? initially thought this was a Toyota of some sort, until I read the comments and labels. Looking Asian, in the sense: Their new Opel Insignia for example, it resembles a Mazda a bit, by the front.:D hehe
Belich wrote I know it's class G, but I do not know which one exactly. Just write "G" or "Gelendvagen", this is not entirely true. If I was far from the world of cars, I would write "Gelik" in general, so it is called in Russia in the jargon In Russian cars, I understand, I know their model indices. Foreign cars I know much worse. Ohhh Okay, Sorry if I seemed rude or criticizing! I guess you're right, this G-class could be something particular, like an AMG or something.
Umm, frankly speaking, I don't picture Mercedes doing these kind of motor homes... The largest they do is based on a Sprinter (with a Hymer, or other brand cover/skin on top). Of course Mercedes does larger motorhomes, based on Unimogs, Actros, etc... But I'm talking about average sizes like the one in the picture. The Motorhome in the picture looks American. The rear looks like that of a Daewoo bus.
Rofl, excuse me, what??? Mercedes Unknown???? It's the famous Mercedes G-class! How could (whoever labeled this) not know that?!!
Toyota Supra whispers in my ears.
enzo96 wrote japan boxy sedan cars honestly really confuses me since they are hard to identify for me, so i can relate xD; True, they tend to look generic, or they resemble each other (like the Japanese pickups, Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, and Mitsubishi L200, from the 1980s and 1990s, they looks so alike that you would have to look in the interior or closely at the grill, in order to spot the difference), this problem applies to most of their older models. Nowadays I guess they're identifiable, but depends on models really, Japanese 4x4 are more identifiable than cars.
enzo96 wrote Some Sort of Nissan? Screams Nissan to me too... I've seen those kind of models, exactly similar, but I don't know their model names. But I say Nissan for sure. That color also seems Nissan-like to me.
Generalrusty78 wrote Custom 1977 Lincoln Continental downtownmotorcarsales.com/pics/1977-lincoln-town-coupe-400ci-v8-34k-miles-1.jpg I'm also inclined to say Lincoln of some sort. Judging by the polished black paint works, chrome trim and design, in that world it was probably supposed to be a luxury car. -- Last edit: 2018-04-01 19:01:29
PoliceOfficer07 wrote It looks a lot like a Neoplan Cityliner. Totally agreeing with you, Neoplan usually does those kind of designs.
Looks more like something American, than an actual Defender. The rear looks like a Land Rover Discovery, but rest of the body seems somewhat American from the 1970s to 1990s, like International Harvester, AMC, Jeep, or the Kaiser Jeeps... something, definitely not a Ford or Chevrolet.
Rear looks more like Land Rover Discovery.
I'm inclined to say, that it looks like a Renault Trafic / Opel Vivaro, but enlarged by size, judging by the rear portion.
Oh gosh! I actually thought it was a Toyota of some sort, because of it's badge, at the photo of it's front.
I will agree that the side looks like Mercedes Sprinter, but the front looks Ford-ish. I can see a bit of Iveco Daily traits, at the rear.
Honda? | ||
Uhh, it screams BMW X5 to me. The front looks Volkswagen/Audi like, but the rear design reminds me of the 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser V8.
Yup, I looks like a Landy Freelander upon closer inspection. Seems like it's got a Chrysler badge to the front. At first glance I thought it was some Dodge SUV.
The front headlights look like that of Volkswagen (Passat perhaps). The front grill could be based of a Volkswagen or it's alikes (like Audi or Skoda). The rear is definitely that of Cadillac. Dunno if it's just me, but interior reminds me of the Ford Mondeo (Vignale version).
A bit off topic: That blue SUV in the background, surely it's based off the Bentley Beteyga! Aye?
I agree it's based on a Ford hatchback. Something about the rear lights reminds me of some Subaru hatchback.
And BTW, another 4x4 exactly similar to this 4x4 (except, it's geared with some accessories) in this game, has been labeled on this site as a Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero... So I think that we must reconsider opinions and ideas here. So far a we see: rear is Jeep Cherokee, side is Nissan Terrano II/Mistral, and front is Toyota Land cruiser J90. Someone mentioned a 1990s Range Rover, which is also a very strong point (if you compare their bonnet design and side door design, they're similar). Someone also mentioned Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero, which is also a very strong point. Frankly speaking, I still say it's a Toyota Land cruiser, because of it's wheels and front. But overall, when I saw the picture for the very first time, I thought it was a late 1990s Mitsubishi Pajero until I looked closely to notice little to no similarities. Also, I did some research about the in-game name of the 4x4, Kimberlite. According to my research, Kimberlite is an igneous rock, which is commonly found in the south part of the continent, of Africa. The south part of the continent of Africa, is also the part of the world where Toyota Land cruisers and Mitsubishi Pajeros, are very common.
Well I can see a Civic in this for sure. Something about the front looks like Subaru.
I'm sorry, but why did someone already label it as a Jeep Cherokee? Am I the only one who actually sees this 4x4 as something Japanese? I'm really sorry but I just don't see why it should be labeled as a Jeep Cherokee, when only the rear resembles one, yet the rest of the body doesn't.
carcrasher88 wrote Honestly, the car doesn't look much like a Ferrari. It looks more like a Ferrari rear and Mazda RX-7 nose tacked onto a Toyota MR2 body. I agree, looks more Japanese to me.
Oh wow... whoever built these trucks, clearly didn't care to think about air resistance.
Pros: Beautiful and uniquely designs. Cons: It's best used as a status symbol, to be parked in front of your villa to prove you're a millionaire. and of course, the millionaire may never even drive them, he/she will obviously be seen driving a fully loaded Mercedes S class or some Range Rover. hehe -- Last edit: 2018-03-28 17:23:29
Rodrigo wrote Agrale Marruá origin: brazil Looks alike actually, although I had an Iveco Massif in mind.
enzo96 wrote Pretty sure this is %100 Something Japanese (hence the game origin) True actually... Oh well, we'll have to wait see more opinions about this!
Something about the front bars and lights, plus the rear lights, reminds me of the Tata Sumo (which was based on the similar chassis as the Mercedes G-class).
Uhh... I'm sorry, what? Ford F150? The only thing Ford-ish I can spot is the rear lights! and MAYBE the front lights! But I was thinking more of a Toyota Tundra. The front grill though, it does resemble the old Ford Super Duty... but I don't see anything to do with F150 in this truck.
Why is it labelled as a Mitsubishi Montero? there is another post of an SUV exactly like this, and at that post's page we're having a thought of some Jeep XJ, Ford Explorer, or Toyota Land Cruiser J90.
I don't agree with Jeep Cherokee XJ, I can understand the rear has Jeep XJ cues, although that can be debatable. Debatable because an earlier comment, by Flippedoutkyrii, mentioned Ford Explorer from the 90s, and then I did remember that the rear actually look closer to some Ford Explorer. It looks like the ones featured in Jurassic Park, the first movie. Look carefully at the rear. But there lies a problem, since rears of both, that Explorer and the Jeep Cherokee XJ, are soo similar, I bet a later comment will assume it's some 90s Chevrolet/GMC SUV, etc.. Another thing: Jeep XJ have their rear licence plates on the rear door, whilst this SUV clearly has it's licence plate on it's rear bumber. So I say it's a blend between Jeep XJ, Ford Explorer, and Toyota Land cruiser, because of that metallic piece on there rear door (implying a spare wheel, commonly notable on Japanese 4x4s). But I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything about the 4x4's side, the side clearly resembles closer to a Nissan Terrano II/Mistral than any Jeep Cherokee. -- Last edit: 2018-03-26 21:58:29
valera wrote BTW rest of car is a XJ I will agree with you about the rear, but the sides tell me Nissan Terrano II/Mistral.
valera wrote https://s.auto.drom.ru/i24196/c/photos/fullsize/toyota/land_cruiser_prado/toyota_land_cruiser_prado_490697.jpg front Yup Exactly what I was talking about!
Yup, looks like a Jeep Strangler, opps sorry, I mean wrangler. Although, head lights and indicator lights remind me of the Mercedes G-class a bit. Something about the rear strongly resembles the Volkswagen T2... It's as if someone just copied it and pasted it behind this SUV. Either that, or it could instead have come from the Volvo 200 series estate.. VW T2 or Volvo estate, one of the two.
Uhh, I think the front looks more like the Toyota Land Cruiser J90 from year 2000. I can see where the idea of the Mitsubishi Pajero is coming from, but I see more of a Land Cruiser J90 in this, than anything else. The body screams Nissan Terrano II (also known as Nissan Mistral, in Japan). Rear looks clearly like Jeep Grand Cherokee. The wheels also remind me of Toyota Land Cruiser. If this car needed a label, I would say Toyota Land Cruiser J90, the rear also does actually tell Land cruiser, a bit.
Bumpercars45 wrote Probably not it but it reminds me of this www.aescala.net/media/cache/e9/6f/e96f573c9cf44ef0267318b8353b0c5a.jpg I agree, the front screams Renault Magnum. But the side clearly resemble the Mitsubishi Fuso Super Great, judging by the door design.
Uhh, I'm inclined to say Volvo truck, or Renault truck T series (which is based on the same chassis as the Volvo truck).
Looks like a Renault Premium, by the front. But side reminds me of the Renault Trucks T series, or Scania of some sort... -- Last edit: 2018-03-25 15:18:06 |
